The massive walls of the Manesi Capital towered into the clouds, completely surrounding a sprawling city that felt dense with dense spiritual energy. Thousands of luxury carriages and high-tier cultivators from all over the world filled the wide streets. As Barry, Suzy, and the old traveler stepped out of their transport vehicle, the mysterious old man simply smiled, waved his bamboo stick, and blended directly into the dense crowd without leaving a single trace.

Barry did not try to track his movement , knowing the entity’s power limits were completely off the charts. Instead, he turned his head to look at Suzy as they walked down the market road toward the inner palace .

As they walked past Barry’s eyes caught the lower frame of Suzy’s outfit. He noticed that the heels she was wearing were completely worn out, the thin soles cracked from all the weeks of continuous running during the valley project. She had been so focused on managing the guild files and the housing foundations that she hadn’t even thought about updating her own footwear lines.

Without saying a single word, Barry reached out his hand, grabbed her wrist, and forcefully guided her path straight into a premium footwear shop on the corner of the trade lane.

"Barry? What are we doing in here?" Suzy asked, her voice full of surprise as she looked at the rows of luxury shoes on the shelves. "The grand meeting is about to start.We do not have time to– ."

"Your current heels is a complete compliance failure," Barry said plainly, his tone direct. "We are registering a new domain at a continental summit. You cannot walk into a room full of world high people wearing torn soles."

The young female shopkeeper immediately ran over, bringing out five different pairs of high-tier heels for Suzy to try. Suzy sat down on a soft bench and tried them on one by one, but Barry stood with his arms crossed, shaking his head at every single option. The styles were too generic, completely failing to match her powerful executive presence.

Then, Barry’s eyes caught a specific pair resting on a high shelf in the back. They were beautiful, white-and-blue high heels encrusted with small, glittering diamonds that radiated a very clean, pure spiritual light.

"Try those on," Barry said, pointing to the shelf.

The shopkeeper brought the diamond heels down. Suzy took them and tried to slide her foot inside, but because the structure was custom-made and stiff, she could not align her ankle parameters properly while balancing her cloth bags.

Barry did not wait for her to struggle. He walked over, dropped down onto one knee right in front of her feet, and took her long leg directly into his hands. His palms felt the smooth warmth of her skin as he carefully lifted her ankle, placing it gently over his knee. With slow, precise movements, he guided her foot straight into the shoe, adjusting the diamond straps until the heel fit her foot perfectly.

"W-Wait barry –" Suzy face was completely red after being touched by Barry she was looking at him with a shy and happy looks.

He stood back up, took out a small handful of premium gold coins from his system space, and dropped them onto the shopkeeper’s counter to settle the account.

The young shopkeeper girl looked at the gold, then looked at Suzy with a look of pure and admiration. "You are incredibly lucky, lady. I have never seen a high-tier expert kneel down like that. You truly got a wonderful husband."

Suzy’s face turned a bright red all the way down to her neck. She panicked, her heart thumping in as she waved her hands. "No–No... wait... We— we are—"

Before she could finish her sentence, Barry grabbed her hand firmly, turned around, and led her straight out of the shop, cutting off the conversation completely.

As they walked down the stone path, Suzy looked down at her hand in his grip, her face still warm as she whispered shyly, "Barry... why didn’t you let me tell her that we—we are not married?"

Barry stopped his steps, turning his head to look straight into her eyes. His handsome face was completely calm as he spoke "Because... I want to—"

Before the final words could leave his mouth, a second shopkeeper from a luxury clothing pavilion right next to the path stepped out, interrupting them with a polite bow. "Great experts! Please visit our premium branch! We sell high-tier robes designed strictly for important rulers! And—your current travel robes do not match those beautiful new diamond heels at all!"

Barry looked at Suzy’s dusty tunic, then looked at the pavilion entrance. "She is right. Let’s update the dress completely."

They walked into the high-end clothing shop. The staff brought out dozens of elegant dresses, but none of them fit the layout Barry wanted. Finally, the main clerk brought out a legendary, custom-made Hanfu dress.

After changing the clothes Suzy stepped out from behind the changing room, and the entire room fell into an absolute, breathless silence.

The transformation was completely total. She no longer looked like a guild administrator; she carried the wild, beautiful, and deeply captivating presence of a supreme cultivation queen.

Barry stood completely frozen in the center of the room, his eyes locked onto her figure as his mind went totally blank for a whole second. He had never seen her look this sexy and powerful.

Suzy noticed his silent stare her cheeks red from shyness, her eyes looking at his expression as she turned her body slightly, her hands resting near her thin waist. "Barry? Does... does it look good?"
