Infinite Snake Evolution: But My System is a Total Menace
Chapter 71: defeating the kings again
My small body remained coiled securely around Suzy’s waist as she glided forward, she pushed through the dark turns, her agility allowing her to bend her body through the tight angles without slowing down our momentum.
After five minutes of movement, a line of daylight appeared at the end of the track.
Suzy reached the opening, using her hands to quietly push away a stone block before sliding out into the fresh mountain air. We emerged onto a hidden cliffside path covered in high weeds, situated exactly fifty feet directly above the rear line of the enemy’s main army camp.
I immediately uncoiled from her body and dropped onto the gravel, my small body dissolving into a quick flash of light as I shifted straight back into my human form. I stepped to the edge of the ledge, I looked down at the valley below.
The sight down in the mountain pass was chaotic.King Brandon’s main division of fifteen hundred elite border guards was currently crowded, their long spears raised as they tried to push past Victor’s tight shield wall. Near the very back of their formation, sitting right next to the outer mountain stream track, were King Malakor’s personal luxury supply wagons—five large wooden carriages packed with gold chests, expensive silk blankets, and rare mineral barrels, left completely unguarded while the main vanguard was fighting at the front line.
"Look at that layout, Barry," Suzy whispered, stepping right next to my shoulder as she drew her sword out. "Brandon’s siege crossbows are currently getting loaded near the base of our cliff. If they launch those arrows, Victor’s front rank shields will get torn apart in less than two minutes."
"Then we have a dual deployment to execute," I said, " I will drop down to handle the luxury inventory near the stream path, while you launch a surprise drop attack to disable those siege crossbows from behind."
Suzy looked down at the distance, "That is a highly efficient division of labor, partner. Don’t take too long with the accounting."
Without waiting another second, Suzy launched her body straight off the cliff . She came down her sword spinning in a circle as she landed directly on top of the first siege crossbow platform, her power exploding outward to shatter the wooden winch gears into small splinters before the enemy operators could even turn their heads.
I did not follow her into the main fight. I turned toward the opposite side , dropping smoothly down the rocky slope until i hit the soft gravel right behind Malakor’s five luxury supply wagons.
The area near the mountain stream was completely quiet, the remaining camp servants having run ahead to watch the frontline battle. I walked straight up to the rear wagon, my hand reaching out to touch the lock of the first gold chest.
’System, open the main inventory panel,’ I thought, my mind interface lighting up. ’ Liquidate every single luxury asset in these five carriages right now. Do not leave a single coin on the track.’
[System Notification: Bulk liquidation sequence initiated, Barry!]

With a series of rapid flashes that were completely hidden from the rest of the camp, the entire contents of the five luxury wagons vanished into air, transferred directly into my private system inventory in less than ten seconds. The wooden boxes were left completely empty, their internal shelves cleaned out down to the very boards.
"Hey! What are you doing back there?!" a panicked shout came from the stream track.
King Brandon himself had just ridden back from the front line to check on the ammunition supply. The border king was covered in red armor, his eyes flaring with rage as he saw me standing next to the empty carriages. He lifted a massive, two-handed battleaxe, his core energy flaring twice as big as he charged his horse straight toward my position. "You capital thief! You dared to sneak out of the vault!"
I didn’t try to run or use my small snake form this time. I stood my ground near the water line, my right hand moving down to grip the sword.
"Now I am only at ninety-two percent progress," I analyzed inside my head, "Using the full Heaven-Splitting Sword Strike will drain a lot of my energy pool, but if I pack just fifty percent of my core power into the sword right now, it will be more than enough to clear this sector."
As Brandon’s horse closed the distance, the giant battleaxe coming in a lethal downward arc, I drew my dark sword in one clean, simple upward line. A massive wave of golden light erupted from of my sword, shooting straight across the gravel path. The light was so dense that it completely blinded Brandon’s eyes instantly.
Snap!
The golden wave hit the massive battleaxe mid-swing, splitting the weapon head completely down the middle , The force of the physical strike carried straight through the horse’s front armor, throwing King Brandon completely off his mount and sending his body crashing backward into the ground his armour cracked open as he dropped his broken weapon in total submission.
I sheathed the sword with a calm expression, as Victor and Suzy came running through the cleared pass with the five hundred guards following right behind them.
"The enemy vanguard is in full retreat, sir!" Victor reported, his eyes carried a deep respect as he looked at the empty luxury wagons. "King Malakor is still trapped inside the empty treasury room below, and Brandon’s main division has completely lost its logistics line."
"The market is fully cornered, partner," Suzy laughed as she wiped her sword clean.
"Let’s move the convoy back to Oakhaven," I smiled, looking out at the open mountain path. "Our new kingdom branch has a lot of new inventory to distribute tomorrow."
