Sabrina finished her demonstration and rose from the machine with a satisfied smile.

She planted both hands on her hips and tilted her chin upward, looking at Jason with unmistakable pride.

"Well?" she asked. "What do you think?"

Then she added with a playful grin,

"Your trainer can handle a 100-kilogram set. So you’d better behave, or I’ll crush you."

Jason stared at her for a moment before a mischievous smile slowly appeared.

Sabrina caught it immediately.

She had been hoping for exactly that reaction.

After everything that had happened today, she wanted to remind him that she wasn’t helpless. She might have needed his protection earlier, but that didn’t mean she was weak.

She was strong too.

And judging by the way Jason was looking at her, he’d noticed.

Sabrina secretly watched his expression, waiting for a compliment.

Instead, Jason deliberately widened his eyes.

"That’s terrifying."

Sabrina’s smile grew.

"Good. You should be afraid of me."

Jason glanced at the machine.

"I’m not convinced."

She narrowed her eyes.

"You’re really asking for trouble, aren’t you?"

Jason laughed.

There was something incredibly endearing about Sabrina when she acted proud of herself.

She was confident one moment, playful the next, and somehow managed to make even a simple workout feel entertaining.

Jason shook his head.

"You’re pretty cute when you brag."

Sabrina’s expression froze.

A faint blush immediately crept across her cheeks.

"Who said you were allowed to compliment me?"

Jason shrugged.

"I just did."

She rolled her eyes, but the corners of her mouth betrayed her.

"Focus on your training, troublemaker."

Jason nodded obediently.

"Yes, Coach."

"That’s better."

Sabrina turned back toward the machine.

"Now watch carefully. The technique matters more than the weight. If you use too much resistance before your body is ready, you can strain your muscles."

Jason nodded.

He understood.

But he also knew something Sabrina didn’t.

His body was no longer that of an ordinary beginner.

The system had already pushed his Constitution to an extraordinary level.

And he wanted to know exactly how strong he had become.

Jason stepped toward the machine.

Before sitting down, he quietly summoned the system.

System, display my personal information.

A translucent blue panel appeared before his eyes.

Jason stared at the numbers for a moment.

A satisfied smile appeared on his face.

His Constitution had already reached 85.

That number meant more to him than the money.

He could feel the difference.

His body was lighter and stronger than before, his reflexes sharper, and even his grip seemed capable of crushing things that would have been impossible for him in the past.

I’ve really changed.

In his previous life, Jason had spent years training.

He knew exactly how difficult it was to build a strong lower body.

Squats.

Leg presses.

Hip bridges.

Adductor work.

Core training.

He’d spent countless hours in gyms trying to maintain his physical condition.

So although the system had dramatically enhanced his body, he wasn’t completely unfamiliar with strength training.

He knew how to move.

He knew how to control his muscles.

And most importantly, he knew how to train without wasting energy.

A playful thought crossed his mind.

Let’s see what 85 Constitution can really do.

Jason sat down on the machine.

He adjusted the seat.

Then he adjusted the foot supports.

Sabrina watched approvingly.

"Good. Take your time."

Jason reached for the weight stack.

Sabrina continued explaining.

"For your first set, start light. I’d recommend around thirty kilograms. You need to get a feel for the movement first."

Jason nodded.

"Thirty?"

"Thirty."

He looked at the weight stack.

Then at Sabrina.

Then back at the machine.

Without saying anything, Jason reached over and moved the pin.

Click.

The selected weight jumped dramatically.

Sabrina blinked.

Jason calmly moved it again.

Click.

Another adjustment.

Then another.

Until the number finally stopped at 160 kilograms.

Sabrina froze.

Her expression went blank.

For several seconds, she simply stared at the machine.

Then she looked at Jason.

Then at the weight stack.

Then back at Jason.

"...Jason."

"Yeah?"

"What did you just do?"

Jason looked completely innocent.

"I set the weight."

"I can see that."

Her voice became noticeably higher.

"You set it to 160 kilograms?"

Jason nodded.

"Yep."

Sabrina’s eyes widened.

"No."

She immediately stepped forward.

"Absolutely not."

She reached down and quickly moved Jason’s legs away from the machine’s starting position.

"Stop. You’re a beginner."

"But~"

"No buts."

She pointed firmly at the weight stack.

"That’s way too heavy for your first set."

Her expression was genuinely worried now.

"You could hurt yourself. A serious injury isn’t something you can just walk off."

Jason looked at her.

She wasn’t teasing anymore.

Her brows were drawn together, and there was real concern in her eyes.

She wasn’t worried about looking impressive.

She was worried about him.

That softened Jason’s expression.

"I’m fine, Sabrina."

"You don’t know that."

She shook her head.

"Strength isn’t the same thing as knowing how to use it. Your muscles, joints, and tendons all have to adapt."

Jason couldn’t help smiling.

"You really care about your students."

"Of course I do."

She paused.

Then realized what she’d just said.

Her cheeks warmed slightly.

"I mean..."

She cleared her throat.

"It’s my job."

Jason’s smile widened.

"Right."

Sabrina gave him a suspicious look.

"Don’t give me that look."

"What look?"

"That look."

Jason laughed.

Sabrina sighed and pointed toward the lighter weights.

"Thirty kilograms."

She emphasized each word.

"Start there."

Jason glanced at the machine again.

Then at Sabrina.

A playful spark appeared in his eyes.

"Okay."

Sabrina relaxed slightly.

"Good."

Jason reached for the weight pin.

Then stopped.

"Sabrina?"

"What?"

"After I finish the thirty-kilogram set..."

He smiled.

"Can I try something heavier?"

Sabrina narrowed her eyes.

"How much heavier?"

Jason looked at the 160-kilogram setting.

Her eyes followed his.

"Don’t even think about it."

Jason laughed.

"Okay, okay."

Sabrina shook her head helplessly.

"This is going to be a long training session."

But despite her frustration, there was a faint smile on her lips.

Somehow, she had a feeling training Jason was going to be much more interesting than she had expected.
