Infinite Rebate: I Get Richer Every Time I Spend

Chapter 316: She Caught Him Looking

  • Next Chapter

Durnik pushed the bedroom door open with the full weight of the day still stuck to him.

That morning he had left the house almost light. Gracie was supposed to come in. In his head, that meant progress. Control. A win he could sit on. He had not expected the bitch to walk into his office with a different plan entirely, lock him down, take what she wanted, and leave him raging through the rest of the afternoon like a man chasing smoke.

Now he was home.

And the first thing that hit him was not silence.

It was the wet sound of his wife coming apart on their bed.

Rebecca was still in the middle of it.

Her legs were spread wide, the thick dildo buried deep between them, and her body was shaking through the climax hard enough to make the mattress move. She squirted in strong pulses, the release spilling out of her and soaking the sheets. Another wave followed before she could even catch her breath, and this one shot farther than the first.

Too far.

The spray caught the air between them and nearly reached Durnik’s face before splashing down across the floor at his shoes.

Rebecca’s moan broke into a sharp, satisfied cry.

Then her eyes opened.

For one frozen second she just stared at him, still trembling, still wet, still holding the toy inside her like her brain needed extra time to accept that her husband was standing in the doorway.

"Shit~!"

She flew upright so fast the robe slipped fully open before she yanked it closed around her waist with both hands, fingers clumsy from shock. Her legs were still shaking. Her face had gone from flushed pleasure to pure panic in a blink.

Durnik did not move.

He just stood there, staring at the woman he had left at home that morning, now bare under a hastily tied robe, bed ruined, floor wet, and the air still thick with what he had walked in on.

Rebecca swallowed hard and forced words out before the silence could get worse.

"Why did you come home at this time of day?" she asked, voice unsteady. "It’s too early."

She had not expected him.

Durnik heard the question and almost laughed from pure disbelief.

She was questioning him.

In his own house.

After he just caught her squirting across the floor.

After the day he had already survived.

His jaw flexed once.

He did not answer.

If he opened his mouth now, he was not sure he would stop. The office. Gracie. Tharok. The broken door. And now this. If the cursing started, it might not end until the whole floor heard it.

So he said nothing.

He walked past her, opened the drawer, took the laptop he had come for, and turned back toward the door. He did not look at the bed again. He did not look at the wet floor. He did not look at his wife standing there in a half-tied robe trying to act like the question she asked had been normal.

He just left.

The door slammed hard enough to rattle the frame behind him.

Meanwhile, at Lucas’s house, the girls had already taken Gracie upstairs.

Mia led the way. Daisy followed close behind. Debbie stayed near Gracie as they showed her the room she would be using. The whole procession moved with the easy energy of people who had won an argument and were now enjoying the result.

Lucas watched them go from the living room and let out a quiet sigh.

Then his eyes dropped lower.

Gracie’s ass moved with every step up the staircase, heavy and full, the kind of bounce that was impossible to ignore even when a man was trying to think about work. The fabric of her clothes only made it worse, clinging and shifting with the climb.

Halfway up, Gracie glanced back.

Their eyes met for a second.

She had caught him looking. There was no real doubt about it. She did not call him out, though. She only turned her face forward again and kept walking, leaving the moment hanging behind her like she had decided it was not worth addressing yet.

Lucas rubbed his jaw once and looked away.

Upstairs, the guest room was already prepared. Clean sheets. Fresh towels. Space in the wardrobe. A wide bed and a window that let in the last stretch of evening light. All that was left for Gracie was to put her things away and settle in.

That was what it looked like on the surface.

The girls had other plans.

The second Gracie sat down, Mia pulled out her phone. Daisy opened a laptop. Debbie leaned in like the room had just shifted from hospitality into business. Switch Live filled the screen a moment later, the platform loading clean and bright between them.

"So," Mia said, too casually, "how often do you go live?"

Daisy followed right after. "Do you plan the content first, or do you just start talking?"

Debbie added, "And how do you keep people from leaving once the chat gets big?"

Question after question came, light on the surface, sharp underneath. They wanted her on the platform. That much was obvious. They wanted her voice, her face, and the kind of traffic a woman like Gracie could drag in with one appearance.

What they carefully avoided was the real question sitting under all the others.

How had she built a following that loyal and that massive?

They already knew enough of the answer. The body. The image. The carefully sold lifestyle. The way men paid for attention and women argued in the comments. Nobody in the room needed it spelled out, so nobody asked. They danced around it instead, smiling, probing, keeping the conversation aimed at Switch without making the pitch too obvious too fast.

Gracie answered some things and dodged others, reading the room as carefully as they were reading her.

Downstairs, Lucas had already stopped thinking about the staircase.

He sat with the laptop open again, the stolen files in front of him, eyes moving over names, transfers, and private records. Durnik had spent the day unraveling. That was useful. But useful only mattered if somebody turned the damage into a real move.

Lucas began mapping the next one.

Quietly.

Patiently.

With the old fool’s own secrets spread across the screen.
