Chapter 5036: THE Infiniverse III
Chapter 5036: THE Infiniverse III
Noah had just finished waking Temporal, Eon, and Abaddon from their involuntary slumber.
The three of them were slowly regaining awareness, their foundations stabilizing after the unconsciousness forced upon them by Naldine’s display of THE Limitless Armature.
That glorious set of bones burning with THE Proterozoic Scale!
Temporal looked confused but functional, quickly coming back.
Eon seemed disoriented, her dark eyes flickering with awareness that was entirely her own for the first time in eons. Abaddon remained ashen, his hand still pressed against the chest where his Claim of Chaos no longer resided as he worked through it.
Noah stood and turned toward Temporal, preparing to give instructions for keeping watch over the other two while he and Naldine departed for wherever this Singular Cognizance supposedly waited.
"Keep an eye on them while I am gone. Make sure they do not do anything stu-"
BOOM!
A terrifying aura erupted from Noah’s body without warning.
It felt like a heavy and suffocating force pressing outward in all directions, reality itself groaning under pressure that radiated from his finite form. The multicolored rainfall of the Pluvial Epoch seemed to part around him, unable to fall through the density now emanating from his existence.
Temporal’s eyes rolled back immediately, his ancient form crumpling to the ground before he could even process what was happening. Eon collapsed beside him, her newly restored consciousness unable to withstand the pressure now flooding from Noah’s body. Abaddon fell last, his weakened foundations offering even less resistance than the others.
"..."
All three lay unconscious again, felled by whatever had just emerged from Noah’s existence.
Naldine looked toward him with cold gaze, her singularity-dotted eyes narrowing as she sensed something she clearly recognized.
"You...are still playing with Miniature Causes? One is not enough?"
Noah rose up with expression of genuine innocence, his hands raised in gesture of denial.
"It really was not me this time."
And it truly was not.
He could sense what THE Infiniverse had just done through their unbreakable connection, perceiving the aftermath of a Cause she had initiated alongside Ruination within his domain.
THE Hadean Emergence. Three Thousand Realms of Quintessence. A complete restructuring of everything THE Infiniverse contained, transforming her from vast domain into something unprecedented.
THE Seed of Observable Existence.
He couldn’t even complain to say why not a direct jump to Observable Existence because that would be far too grand. But...
The power of this transformation flowed through him because THE Infiniverse was an extension of his Existence rather than something separate. What she became, he partially became. What she achieved, he partially achieved. This was how their connection worked.
Her restructuring had created resonance through their connection that now pressed outward from his finite form with a force overwhelming anything at THE First Scale.
He had the authority of a Seed of Observable Existence flowing through him.
His finite existence somehow held up under this pressure, his foundations refusing to rupture despite containing force that should have exceeded what beings at his Scale could manage. But he could feel all this authority pressing onto something specific within him, concentrating on his Organ of Civilization surrounded by Quintessence Infiniforce.
An unfathomable process was beginning there.
He could not yet grasp what was happening, could not perceive the full scope of the transformation initiating within his foundations. But something was changing. Something was responding to the Seed’s authority flowing through him. Something was starting that would take time to complete.
For now, he controlled the terrifying pressure leaking from his existence, pulling it back within himself through will alone. The force receded, contained once more within his finite form rather than radiating outward to flatten everything nearby.
But his mind raced with possibilities.
His power paired with the power of THE Infiniverse. The Quintessence Infiniforce he generated internally combined with the authority of a Seed of Observable Existence. Could this combination violate existence itself? Could it potentially allow him to touch those unfathomable beings at THE Second Scale?
Before he made such a heavy claim, he would need to understand more about THE Proterozoic Scale. He would need to learn the mechanisms through which Second Scale beings operated, the vulnerabilities they possessed, the methodologies they employed.
He needed information that his current knowledge simply did not contain.
And hey, he had a walking, talking encyclopedia of information right here.
He turned to Naldine and smiled brilliantly, his heavy pressure now completely contained within his existence. She had knowledge accumulated across eons of operating at heights he was only beginning to perceive.
She looked back at him with cold expression that suggested his smile did not charm her in the slightest.
"One of these days, you will be wrong. Remember my warnings then."
Her voice held certainty.
"Do not keep messing around with Miniature Causes when your power cannot control what can happen. I will repeat that as many times as I need to."
She glanced down at the unconscious forms of Temporal, Eon, and Abaddon sprawled across the recovering landscape of Jotunheim. Her expression shifted to something approaching disdain as she observed three beings who had been felled twice in rapid succession by forces they could not withstand.
"For now, let us go."
She shook her head slowly while looking at the collapsed trio.
"Weak things that keep losing consciousness from pressure alone..."
She turned around and began walking, her Second Scale presence pressing against the multicolored rainfall as she moved.
Noah let Naldine leave first, watching her Second Scale presence carve a path through the multicolored rainfall as she departed.
Then he looked down at the three bodies sprawled before him. Temporal lay with purple temporal currents still flickering weakly around his form. Eon breathed slowly, her dark hair spread across the recovering ground of Jotunheim. And Abaddon remained ashen and hollow, his chest rising and falling with breaths that no longer carried the authority of Chaos.
An illusory consciousness separated from Noah’s current body, stepping out of himself like a shadow gaining substance. This fragment of his awareness moved toward the unconscious trio and sat down beside them, cross-legged amidst the multicolored rivers still flooding Jotunheim.
He placed his hand on Abaddon’s head and reached into the foundations of what remained.
His earlier sense was confirmed. The Claim of Chaos had not simply dissipated or dissolved. It had been taken, pulled through bonds that should not have permitted such transfer, claimed by someone who had been waiting for exactly this moment of weakness.
"Emotive."
His eyes flashed with chilly light as he thought about the Broken Doll he had spared not long ago. He had slapped her across existence and knocked out her teeth.
She had now grown very ambitious.
She had taken the Claim of Chaos itself, ascending from whatever she had been before to something that would require reevaluation. The manic entity...
Noah thought of many things as his consciousness remained beside the unconscious trio. He thought about many things.
He left this consciousness here to observe and protect while the three recovered.
His main body took a step and crossed vast distances, leaving Jotunheim behind to catch up with the walking, talking encyclopedia who had slowed her pace to wait for him, even though she never looked back.
---
In THE Infiniverse.
In THE Seed of Observable Existence.
Noah stood upon the golden sands of his Early Veiled Shore, observing a landscape transformed beyond what he remembered from his last visit. Abodes dotted the terrain now, structures of crystallized authority rising from foundations saturated with Quintessence Infiniforce. Hundreds of forming plots stretched across the shore.
It was oddly quiet and serene here.
Not many remained on the Early Veiled Shore at this moment, as most had been sent to THE Yggdrheim to undergo strengthening of their existence through adversity. The struggles occurring there would forge his people into something capable of surviving the conflicts spreading across Observable Existence. They would return transformed or they would not return at all.
Well, no, they would return!
The only one who happened to be here right now rose from a nearby plot of land.
Amelia Osmont brushed golden soil from her hands as she walked toward her son, her eyes already fixed on the skies above. She could instinctively sense the shocking changes that had taken place within this domain, her foundations resonating with transformations that affected everything dwelling within THE Infiniverse.
She was, after all, the mother of a finite being filled with glory!
She looked up and saw golden raindrops descending alongside rivers of multicolored brilliance cascading from heights that seemed infinite.
"Did you manage to pass a significant milestone?"
Noah smiled at his mother’s words, her ability to read situations never failing to remind him of where certain aspects of his own perception came from.
"Somewhat significant."
He watched the golden rain falling across the Early Veiled Shore, each droplet carrying Quintessence Infiniforce that would nourish whatever it touched.
"The things around me seem increasingly complex. They are not so simple like in the past. There is not a single enemy or ruler of a domain threatening us, but a collection of beings who lived for eons, each with their own schemes of what they want in existence."
He paused, considering how to explain conflicts that spanned Scales of power his mother could not yet perceive.
"We are just getting mixed up in them here and there, but I am riding the waves so far."
His mother nodded slowly, her expression holding the particular concern only parents could manage regardless of how powerful their children became.
She raised her hands to feel the raindrops of Quintessence Infiniforce landing on her palms, the multicolored authority absorbing into her foundations with each contact.
"Do not push yourself too much. I know you are pushing the others too so they can protect themselves, but take everything in strides. Focus on your farming, focus on your son."
Her expression shifted to something more mischievous.
"Maybe find me another daughter-in-law."
Noah shook his head at the ridiculous words.
"Come on. Let us see how our home is changing."
He waved his hand and multicolored light gathered before them, Quintessence Infiniforce condensing into physical form through will alone. A small boat materialized from the condensed authority, its hull burning with the same multicolored brilliance now filling his existence. The vessel floated above the golden sands, waiting for passengers.
Noah helped his mother board before stepping onto the boat himself. The moment his feet touched the deck, the vessel rose higher, lifting them above the Early Veiled Shore and carrying them outward toward the vastness now surrounding his farms.
What he saw was utter glory.
The Three Thousand Realms of Quintessence stretched across THE Infiniverse in configurations that defied easy comprehension. Each Realm blazed with distinct light declaring its unique nature, colors and authorities mixing.
The first Realm they approached shone with golden light carrying the essence of Dreams. It expanded outward endlessly like a flat plane of crystallized imagination, landscapes formed from concepts that only slumbering minds could perceive. Rivers of Infinity surged around its boundaries, connecting this Realm to others through waterways of conducted authority. Within its depths, Noah could see structures forming from pure potential, cities and forests and mountains emerging from the dream sands that now had physical reality.
His mother gasped beside him as their boat carried them past this first Realm toward another.
The second Realm burned with crimson-gold light of Helios, solar authority condensed into a region where fire and radiance served as natural law. Stellar bodies orbited within its expanse, suns of varying sizes and intensities providing illumination that would have blinded lesser beings. New suns and stellar bodies were being born...infinitely.
The heat emanating from this Realm pressed against their boat without threatening them, warmth recognizing its master and his mother as welcome rather than intruders.
They continued forward, and a third Realm came into view blazing with verdant light of Prana. Life authority saturated every aspect of this region, forests growing across surfaces that seemed to have no end.
Creatures moved through those forests, beings formed from pure vitality.
A fourth Realm shimmered with silver-blue light of Lunar essence, darkness and reflection mixing in configurations that created beauty through shadow rather than illumination. This Realm seemed quieter than the others, its authority more subtle, its gifts requiring contemplation to perceive.
A fifth Realm crackled with violet light of Apollyon, destructive potential contained within boundaries that prevented it from consuming everything nearby.
On and on they traveled, their boat carrying them through spaces between Realms where seas of Quintessence Infiniforce lapped against shores of condensed authority. Noah counted dozens of distinct configurations as they passed, each Realm unique, each one representing different aspects of existence given physical form.
The Realm of Manadynamics blazed with pure blue authority that reminded him of his earliest cultivation, Mana in its most fundamental expression saturating everything within.
The Realm of Apocalypse held configurations of ending and transformation, cycles of destruction and rebirth playing out across landscapes that seemed to change each time he looked away.
The Realm of Relativity bent around itself in ways that made his perception struggle, space and time operating according to rules that shifted based on the observer.
The Realm of Dreams continued expanding in the distance, its golden light now seeming like just one star among thousands filling the wonders of his domain.
His mother sat beside him in silence, her eyes wide with wonder. She had known her son was powerful. She had understood that he operated at heights she could not fully perceive. But seeing the scale of what he had built, what THE Infiniverse had become...
Her voice emerged soft against the vastness surrounding them.
"This is...beautiful."
He nodded without speaking, his attention fixed on the connections between Realms rather than the Realms themselves. Rivers of Infinity flowed between every configuration, conducted authority providing circulation that ensured no region existed in isolation. Seas of Quintessence Infiniforce filled the spaces between, generated authority from his own existence now serving as the medium through which everything connected.
The Primal Authority atmosphere saturated all of it, thick with combined Quintessence and Infinity that would empower any being breathing within this domain.
And still they traveled, their boat carrying them past the five hundredth Realm, the seven hundredth, the thousandth. Each one held unique characteristics. Each one provided different conditions for existence. Each one represented a piece of the vast architecture THE Infiniverse had constructed through her Hadean Emergence.
Noah’s eyes began shining with profundity as epiphany crystallized within his awareness.
He saw the Realms utilizing Infinity in configurations he had never considered. He observed how conducted authority enhanced environments rather than individual beings. He perceived the methodology through which external things could be bathed in endless potential without triggering THE Gamaidjan’s corruption.
"Infinity can be used in so many different ways."
He spoke to himself, his voice carrying revelation that pressed against his understanding of what he could accomplish.
"While the self is hard to bathe with Infinity, external things like Realms and Sacred Herbs are easier. The self risks corruption. But things outside the self have no identity to corrupt."
His eyes burned brighter as the implications expanded within his mind.
"And if I utilize Infinity even more, apart from herbs and Realms, so many things can be made Infinite. Armaments. Structures. Domains. Anything external to consciousness itself could potentially hold endless authority without suffering the consequences..."
HUUM!
The realization was one he already knew somewhat, but he could be more...comprehensive.
THE Infiniverse had integrated Infinity into her structure, into her Realms, into the environment itself rather than the consciousnesses dwelling within.
The environment could be Infinite without going mad.
The tools could be Infinite without losing identity.
Only the self required the careful progression that Naldine had described, the Anchoring and Transformation and eventual Transcendence that protected consciousness from corruption, and even that didn’t apply too much to him.
On a boat with his mother, Noah’s eyes burned with light of profundity as he toured his changing home. Three Thousand Realms stretched around them in every direction, a wonder built from Quintessence and Infinity that declared his domain something unprecedented in Observable Existence.
And he was only beginning to understand what it could become.
