Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme
Chapter 181: Entering the time field
Victor exhaled slowly as the lingering pressure of the grand battle began to settle. With a silent thought, he deactivated the soul sync. The towering celestial aura that enveloped him receded like a pulling tide, and the combined manifestation of the four ancestral beasts dissolved into faint light.
Victor undid the merge with Astrion and returned to his normal form. His silver hair shortened slightly to its natural shade, and his glowing purple eyes softened into their usual deep, calm luster. Astrion’s form detached and stabilized inside his soul space, resting quietly after the intense computation required to process and perfect the techniques of sixteen ancient immortals at once.
With a slight flick of his wrist, Victor teleported again and reappeared outside of the palace. The spatial energy around the majestic building barely stirred as he materialized on the white marble steps. He did not waste time looking around at the elaborate architecture or the guards who stood frozen in sheer awe at his sudden arrival. Time was moving forward, and every second mattered.
He did not waste time and called Diana and Noelle. His voice echoed directly within their minds through a precise space transmission, summoning them to the courtyard.
Within seconds, two figures emerged from the inner palace. Diana walked out with her graceful step, her long hair fluttering softly, while Noelle followed closely behind with an eager expression on her face. They were also ready for him. Neither of them carried unnecessary luggage, as their storage rings held everything they required for an extended period of deep cultivation.
Victor then said his farewell to his master, his senior brothers and sisters and the President of the cosmic human alliance. His master stood at the front of the gathered figures, looking at Victor with a mixture of immense pride and deep concern.
His senior brothers and sisters offered respectful nods, fully aware that the young man standing before them had already surpassed the boundaries of their grand realm. The President of the cosmic human alliance stepped forward, offering a solemn bow to express the gratitude of the entire human federation for the protection and resources Victor had secured. Victor gave them a firm nod, acknowledging their bond without lingering in sentimental chatter.
Then he took out a crystal and crushed it. The crystalline artifact shattered into a fine dust of spatial and temporal fragments that ignited upon contact with the surrounding air.
The next instant a portal appeared there. The gateway swirled with iridescent hues, humming with an ancient frequency that bypassed the normal rules of universe travel.
Victor along with Diana and Noelle entered the portal and the next moment they appeared in a throne room.
The spatial transition was instantaneous and completely smooth. The moment they stepped out of the portal, a blinding glow washed over their senses. There was light everywhere. The floor beneath them looked like polished liquid glass that reflected the infinite expanse of the heavens, while the ambient energy in the atmosphere was so dense that every breath felt like consuming purified divine liquid.
Above, 8 enormous throne was floating into round manner. Each throne was carved from raw cosmological concept matter, radiating a distinct aura that represented the fundamental forces maintaining the universe. Sitting upon these grand structures were entities whose presence alone made the surrounding space warp slightly.
"Welcome messiah." an ancient voice greeted him. The voice was gentle yet resonant, carrying the weight of countless cosmic epochs.
"I am Erdogan, the leader of the 8 guardians. It’s nice to meet you finally."
It was the shapeless being born from light sitting in the front of Victor. Erdogan did not possess a fixed physical skin or face, appearing instead as a majestic humanoid silhouette composed of pure, concentrated divine radiance that constantly shifted and sparkled like a miniature galaxy.
Victor nodded. He stood straight, showing neither fear nor excessive reverence toward the ancient entities who oversaw the realm.
"It’s nice to meet you 8 guardians." he casually greeted them as if he was not a junior but their equal.
The sheer audacity of addressing eight supreme beings who held the stability of the universe in their hands with such casual indifference would have shocked any ordinary cultivator. But the 8 of them didn’t mind it.
They had observed his fight against the sixteen immortals and recognized the sheer potential running through his veins. To beings of their level, true authority was defined by absolute strength and comprehension, both of which Victor possessed in abundance.
"Okay. Let’s enter the time field. I have a bad feeling that some kinds of bad things is about to happen." Another guardian said suddenly. This guardian was enveloped in a dark crimson light that flickered like a warning flame, its perception stretching far beyond the borders of their immediate reality.
The others nodded solemnly. The atmosphere in the grand light room instantly sharpened into one of extreme tension.
Then they all raised their hands and beams of different colored lights appeared out of them. Gold, silver, crimson, azure, emerald, violet, deep obsidian, and radiant white beams shot out simultaneously, converging at the central space right in front of the floating thrones. The collision of these primordial energies did not create a violent explosion. Instead, it carved open the very bedrock of space and time, revealing a deep passageway that led into an isolated domain.
The 8 light combined and formed a portal again.
Without wasting time, the 3 of them again entered the portal.
Victor grabbed the hands of Diana and Noelle, stepping straight into the swirling light construct before the energy could disperse.
The next moment Victor saw it was just a mountain peak with time acceleration runes on the air.
When the light faded, they found themselves standing on a solitary, smooth stone peak surrounded by a boundless sea of soft white clouds. The sky above was neither day nor night, but a serene twilight illuminated by slowly drifting astral bodies. In the air surrounding the entire mountain, millions of golden, glowing characters and spatial strings were floating, constantly shifting and intertwining with one another. These were the manifestation of high order time laws operating at a speed that defied normal reality.
It was far more complicated what he could create at this moment. Victor observed the floating runes with his sharp vision, analyzing the structure of the domain. His vast knowledge of laws allowed him to instantly realize that the time flow inside this isolated peak was accelerated by thousands of times compared to the outside world. The craftsmanship required to stitch such an enormous acceleration field without collapsing the local space was something even his current mastery of creation laws could only marvel at.
So he sat down there and asked the other two to seat as well to start cultivation.
"Sit close to me," Victor said quietly to Diana and Noelle. "The density of the temporal laws here is immense. We must synchronize our breathing and settle our minds immediately to absorb the energy without straining our souls."
Diana nodded quietly and took her place on his left, crossing her legs on the cool stone floor. Noelle sat down on his right, sitting upright and closing her eyes as she began to regulate her internal energy circulation.
Victor sat between them in a full lotus position. He closed his eyes and let his consciousness expand into the air, reaching out toward the floating time acceleration runes. Inside his soul sea, Astrion immediately activated, running millions of simulations to break down the flow of the local time laws, helping Victor integrate them directly into his own cultivation base. Deep within his body, his energy channels flared to life, drawing in the surrounding rich cosmic energy like a dry sponge absorbing water.
While the three young cultivators settled into their deep meditation within the mountain peak, an ominous presence was unfolding millions of light years away, completely outside the domain of the local reality.
Outside the universe, in the endless chaos sea where the sole universe was moving toward the cosmic storm, suddenly a pair of ancient eyes were opened.
The chaos sea was a terrifying realm of void and primordial destruction, a place where no light could travel and no normal concepts of life could exist. Massive waves of gray chaotic energy rolled endlessly across the void, crushing anything that lacked the protection of true cosmic laws. The single, brilliant origin universe floated through this bleak expanse like a glowing pearl, slowly drifting toward a dark, turbulent cosmic storm that spanned across vast distances.
The colossal pair of eyes opened within the deep dark of the chaos sea, each eye larger than entire star clusters. They burned with a cold, pale yellow light that reflected no warmth or life, filled only with an insatiable hunger that had lasted for uncounted epochs.
"An origin universe? It looked delicious." A terrifying voice echoed through the turbulent chaos sea, though there was no air to carry the sound. The sheer will behind the words vibrated through the primordial noise, sending dark ripples across the gray waves.
Then it started moving toward the universe that was slowly floating toward it’s destruction.
