Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme
Chapter 120: Arriving at the Elven empire
The space ship continued gliding through hyperspace with unmatched stability. Endless rivers of starlight stretched beyond the crystal windows, forming dazzling streams that connected one galaxy to another. Inside the luxurious cabin, the atmosphere remained calm as Victor stood beside Vladimir, still processing everything that had happened.
After remaining silent for some time, Victor finally voiced the question that had been lingering in his mind.
"Senior Brother, does Master only accept True Disciples?"
Vladimir looked at him for a brief moment before shaking his head.
"No."
"Master has accepted many disciples throughout the countless years. At present, there are one hundred ordinary disciples under him. Every single one of them has already reached the Nebula Realm or beyond. Any one of them possesses enough strength to establish a supreme force that can dominate galaxies."
Victor listened attentively without interrupting.
Vladimir continued in his usual calm yet authoritative tone.
"However, ordinary disciples and True Disciples are entirely different. The qualification for becoming a True Disciple has never depended solely on talent or cultivation."
"It depends on the Eternal Body Cultivation Technique."
"Only those who reach the fifth Layer of the technique earn the qualification to become Master’s True Disciple. Throughout millions of years, only 8 people have succeeded."
As he finished speaking, Vladimir glanced at Victor.
"You are the Ninth."
Victor slowly nodded. Nova already told him something like that before. Now hearing from Vladimir, the eldest true disciple, it confirmed the information.
What Victor did not know was that Vladimir had concealed an important piece of information.
At this very moment, the entire Elven Empire was preparing to welcome him under the direct orders of the Progenitor himself.
Even Vladimir did not know the complete reason behind those orders.
However, after serving Master for countless years and even ruling as Emperor of the Elven Supreme Race several generations ago, his instincts told him that this young man was extraordinarily special.
Master had accepted the Eighth True Disciple directly without such a grand ceremony.
Even the 8th hunior sister, who was accepted 100 years ago, who had reached 6th layer of the technique before becoming master’s disciple, she caused some commotion but not this grand of a show.
Yet this time, the entire empire had been mobilized.
That alone was enough to show that Victor’s importance far exceeded everyone’s imagination.
Lost in thought, Vladimir remained silent until Victor called out to him.
"Senior Brother?"
Vladimir blinked before a faint smile appeared on his face.
"It is nothing."
He pointed toward a sleek silver capsule positioned near the rear of the cabin.
"Go inside that recovery capsule. Although your injuries have healed, your mind has remained under constant tension since the battle."
"It will help your body and soul recover completely before meeting Master."
Victor nodded respectfully.
"Thank you, Senior Brother."
Without another word, he walked toward the capsule. The transparent lid opened automatically as he stepped inside. Warm silver light surrounded his body before the capsule slowly sealed itself shut.
The moment the soothing energy embraced him, all the exhaustion he had been suppressing surfaced at once.
Within moments, Victor had fallen into a deep sleep.
After Victor left, Vladimir turned toward the Elven Princess.
Anastasia had been standing quietly nearby without daring to interrupt the conversation between the two disciples of the Progenitor.
Vladimir looked at her with a calm yet meaningful expression.
"You should try to build a good relationship with him."
Anastasia was slightly surprised.
"My Lord?"
Vladimir folded his hands behind his back as he gazed out toward the endless stars.
"I have a feeling."
"This young man may one day become one of the most powerful beings in existence."
"He may even hold the future of the Elven Race in his hands."
Anastasia’s beautiful eyes widened in disbelief.
For a moment, she thought she had misheard.
The Elven Race was one of the Twelve Supreme Races of the universe. Their foundation had stood firm for millions of years under the protection of the Progenitor. Countless supreme experts served the empire.
How could the fate of such a race possibly depend on a human youth?
Even so, she did not question Vladimir.
Having once ruled the entire empire as its Emperor, his judgment had never been doubted.
She simply lowered her head respectfully.
"I understand."
Time passed quietly.
Victor had no idea how long he remained asleep.
His consciousness slowly returned after hearing several gentle knocks against the transparent capsule.
He opened his eyes and found the silver light gradually fading away.
The lid lifted automatically.
Standing outside was Anastasia.
She wore an elegant smile as she held a neatly folded set of luxurious robes embroidered with ancient golden patterns.
"Lord Victor."
"We have arrived."
"These clothes were specially prepared for you. Please change into them before we disembark."
Victor accepted the clothing with a grateful smile.
"Thank you."
Anastasia gave a respectful bow before quietly leaving to give him privacy.
Several minutes later, Victor emerged from the changing room.
The robes fit him perfectly.
Pure white fabric flowed naturally around his tall figure, while delicate silver embroidery shimmered beneath the surrounding lights. A deep blue cloak rested over his shoulders, giving him an elegant yet noble appearance.
Anastasia subconsciously turned toward him.
The moment she saw Victor, her breathing stopped.
Her heartbeat accelerated uncontrollably as warmth spread across her cheeks.
She had seen countless handsome princes, noble heirs, and extraordinary geniuses throughout her life.
None of them came close.
Until now, Victor had always concealed his true appearance with a subtle masking technique, causing everyone to overlook just how exceptional his features truly were.
Now, standing before her without disguise while dressed in imperial robes, he looked almost unreal.
"How can someone be this handsome..."
She unconsciously whispered.
"Even the most handsome men of our race cannot compare."
Victor looked at her curiously.
"Lady Anastasia?"
Realizing she had been staring, Anastasia immediately regained her composure.
Her cheeks remained slightly red as she respectfully gestured toward the exit.
"Shall we go, Lord Victor?"
Victor smiled politely.
"Please lead the way."
The enormous hatch of the Silver Dawn slowly opened.
Sunlight poured into the cabin.
Victor stepped forward beside Anastasia.
The scene before them caused both of them to stop in their tracks.
Countless elite elven soldiers stood in perfect formation, stretching beyond the limits of sight.
Magnificent banners bearing the royal crest fluttered proudly in the wind while countless divine birds circled gracefully across the sky. Ancient phoenixes, celestial deer, emerald dragons, and dozens of other divine beasts filled the heavens with majestic cries.
Standing at the very front was the current Emperor of the Elven Empire together with every member of the royal family.
Behind them stood all eight True Disciples of the Progenitor.
Further behind them were the one hundred ordinary disciples, each radiating an aura powerful enough to shake entire star systems.
It was a welcome ceremony unlike anything Victor had ever imagined.
Anastasia stood frozen.
Even she had never witnessed such a grand reception.
An elderly general stepped forward before raising his voice.
"Welcome to the Elven Empire..."
"Your Highness, Victor Walker."
His voice echoed throughout the entire capital.
The next moment, countless soldiers shouted together.
"Welcome, Your Highness!"
Their unified roar shook the heavens.
Even space trembled beneath the overwhelming sound.
Victor stood speechless.
Quietly, he activated the intelligent bracelet around his wrist.
"Nova..."
"What is going on?"
A cheerful laugh immediately sounded inside his mind.
"Hehe."
"I simply informed Master that you reached the Seventh Layer of the Eternal Body Cultivation Technique entirely on your own."
Victor blinked.
Everything instantly made sense.
No wonder such an overwhelming welcome had been prepared.
Master was celebrating his most probable heir’s arrival.
Anastasia, however, remained completely confused.
She still could not understand why Victor was receiving treatment surpassing even members of the imperial family.
At that moment, an elegant woman stepped forward.
She possessed long crimson hair, delicate horns upon her forehead, and a graceful smile.
Although she looked almost human, the faint demonic aura surrounding her clearly revealed her race.
She smiled warmly.
"Hello, Junior Brother. It is nice to finally meet you. I am Sofia Melbourne. Your Second Senior Sister."
Victor immediately bowed respectfully.
"It is an honor to meet you, Second Senior Sister."
Sofia chuckled before gently patting his shoulder.
One after another, the remaining True Disciples stepped forward and introduced themselves.
Despite their terrifying strength and legendary reputations, each treated Victor with genuine warmth.
To them, he was not merely another genius.
He was family.
Finally, the Emperor himself approached.
The supreme ruler of the Elven Empire wore a kind smile as he looked directly at Victor.
"Welcome to the empire, Lord Victor."
"It is our honor to receive Progenitor’s Ninth True Disciple."
Victor returned the greeting with equal respect.
"Thank you, Your Majesty."
The Emperor nodded with satisfaction before extending his hand toward the distant palace.
"Come."
"Progenitor has been waiting for you."
Without another delay, everyone began walking toward the magnificent palace where the oldest and most mysterious being in the elven empire was waiting for his newest True Disciple.
