Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme

Chapter 117: Breaking through to the sovereign realm

Victor slowly retracted the Chaos Domain, and the colossal avatar behind him dissolved into countless fragments of chaotic energy before disappearing completely. Silence returned to the battlefield as he calmly stared at the mountain size corpse infront of him, his expression remaining as indifferent as ever.

"This ape wasn’t even supposed to be among the strongest remaining Domain Masters, yet it still took me this long to kill it," Victor muttered while analyzing the battle. "It only comprehended a simple, brute-force Law, making it easier to deal with. If I encounter monsters wielding truly terrifying or bizarre Laws, I don’t think I’ll be able to handle them in my current state."

After reaching that conclusion, Victor immediately altered his plans. Instead of recklessly hunting Domain Masters, he decided to avoid them as much as possible and continue farming ordinary monsters to accumulate Evolution Points. It was the safest way to grow stronger without risking his life.

Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

By the end of his hunt, Victor had accumulated another five hundred million Evolution Points, bringing the total gains inside the planet to 1.2 billion.

"It’s not much."

Compared to the six trillion Evolution Points he still had, 1.2 billion was barely a drop in an endless ocean.

"Nova, how can I contact my master? I need to learn the final three parts of the Eternal Body Cultivation Technique," Victor asked while looking at the bracelet on his wrist.

"If you want, you can travel directly to the Elven Empire and look for him yourself," Nova replied. "But that’s unnecessary. If I notify your master about your existence, I’m certain he’ll arrange a way for you to reach him. Besides, the Elven Domain is unimaginably far from here."

Victor nodded in agreement and instructed Nova to establish contact.

The very instant those words left his mouth, an apocalyptic pressure descended from the heavens.

Boom!

It crashed onto Victor like an invisible mountain, carrying an authority so overwhelming that even space seemed to tremble beneath it. Every bone in his body groaned as though the world itself wanted to force him onto his knees.

"W... what kind of pressure is this?" Victor thought, his pupils shrinking violently. "A Grade Eleven existence? Why would someone like that come here?"

His heart sank.

Struggling against a weak Domain Master had already been his current limit. Facing a World Rank powerhouse was no different from an ant standing before a collapsing universe.

"Probably someone from one of the races you insulted," Nova answered calmly.

The pressure intensified once more.

Crack.

Victor’s knees trembled violently as the invisible force tried to force him into a kneeling position. Blood trickled from the corners of his mouth as countless tiny fractures spread throughout his body. Although his regeneration healed the damage almost instantly, the pain remained agonizing.

Slowly raising his head, Victor saw a graceful woman standing high in the sky.

Four radiant wings spread behind her, illuminating the battlefield with holy brilliance. Every strand of her silver hair shimmered beneath the divine light surrounding her, making her appear like a goddess descending from the heavens. Her beauty was flawless, yet the indifference in her eyes was colder than eternal ice.

"So... a member of the Spirit Race."

Despite the unbearable pressure crushing his body, Victor met her gaze without lowering his head. His eyes remained as cold and emotionless as ever.

"Oh?" The woman’s lips curved slightly. "You’re quite unusual."

She looked at him as though observing an amusing insect.

"Tell me, little ant. Where does such arrogance come from? You shouldn’t have resisted. Worms like you exist to kneel before superior races. That is your purpose."

Ignoring her words entirely, Victor communicated with the system.

"System, how many Evolution Points do I need to break through to the Sovereign Realm?"

[Ding! Required Evolution Points: 1 Trillion.]

Victor’s expression didn’t change.

"Can you estimate her strength?"

[Ding! Approximately 5,600 Giga Star. She has already formed her Inner World. Eliminating her is virtually impossible unless her Inner World is destroyed. Inner Worlds are manifestations of one’s Laws and are extraordinarily difficult to shatter.]

Victor’s pupils widened ever so slightly.

"So strong..."

His own combat power was barely 0.01 Giga Star.

Even after breaking through to the Sovereign Realm, the difference between them would still be astronomical. On top of that, she undoubtedly possessed racial talents, divine techniques, and countless trump cards.

One after another, the young geniuses Victor had spared earlier emerged from the distance.

Their eyes burned with hatred.

The Spirit Race prince stepped forward, his gaze filled with murderous intent as he looked down at Victor.

"You dared to insult us and thought you would survive afterward?"

His lips curled into a cruel smile before he turned toward the woman in the sky.

"Melina."

His voice echoed across the battlefield.

"Crush him."

"As you command, Your Highness."

The moment those words fell, Melina vanished.

Boom!

Victor’s instincts screamed as she appeared directly before him.

He immediately attempted to teleport away, only to discover that the surrounding space had already been completely sealed.

There was nowhere to escape.

Boom!

Her fist slammed into Victor’s abdomen.

The impact was so overwhelming that it felt as though every internal organ inside his body had been pulverized. Blood burst from his mouth as he was blasted through the air like a broken meteor.

Before he could regain control, Melina appeared behind him.

Boom!

Another punch landed squarely on his back.

Victor crashed into the earth with terrifying force.

The ground exploded as an enormous crater formed, shockwaves tearing through the surrounding landscape.

Melina floated above the crater and looked downward.

Victor lay at its center, his body soaked in blood. Bones protruded through torn flesh before rapidly regenerating under the effects of his Eternal Body. Despite the horrifying injuries, the calm, indifferent expression on his face never changed.

There was no fear.

There was no panic.

Only calculation.

"Even if I break through now, my strength will probably reach around one hundred Giga Star," Victor analyzed silently. "That still isn’t enough to bridge the gap between us."

"Victor, apologize," Nova urged anxiously. "You won’t survive this fight."

Victor didn’t even acknowledge her words.

His mind had already reached a decision.

"I didn’t want to use the armor..."

"...but I don’t have another choice."

Before entering the battlefield, Yehan had entrusted him with a Cosmic Armor capable of defending against attacks from even Nebula-grade experts.

The moment Victor willed it into existence, a dense obsidian-black liquid emerged from thin air.

It flowed across his body like living mercury, wrapping around every inch of him at astonishing speed before solidifying into a perfectly fitted suit of armor. Waves of ancient power spread from its surface, causing even the surrounding space to ripple.

Melina’s expression changed slightly.

"A treasure armor?"

Her eyes narrowed with curiosity.

"Where did a lowly human like you obtain such a powerful treasure?"

Without waiting for an answer, she threw another punch toward the crater.

Boom!

The attack landed.

But Victor had already disappeared.

The armor effortlessly ignored the spatial lock that had imprisoned him moments earlier, allowing him to teleport beyond her reach.

He reappeared several hundred meters away.

Instead of charging recklessly...

He calmly rolled his shoulders.

Then he rotated his neck.

Crack.

Crack.

After that, he began lightly bouncing on the balls of his feet, stretching his arms and legs with complete composure.

The legendary warm-up every overpowered protagonist seemed to perform before turning the tables.

Victor grinned.

"Damn... you beat the crap out of me."

His golden eyes slowly lifted toward Melina.

"Now..."

"...it’s my turn."

His voice was calm.

"System."

"Break through to the Sovereign Realm."

[-1 Trillion Evolution Points]

[Ding! Congratulations! You have comprehended a Rule of Chaos: Oblivion.]

[The fundamental principle of this Rule is: Dust to dust, Ashes to ashes. Everything is born from Chaos, and everything shall eventually return to Chaos.]

Boom!

It felt as though an invisible dam had shattered inside Victor’s body.

An endless torrent of enlightenment flooded his consciousness. Countless profound insights regarding the Rule of Chaos: Oblivion poured into his mind, each one expanding his understanding at an unimaginable speed.

This was not merely the ability to destroy.

It was the authority to return existence itself to its primordial state.

Anything touched by the power of Oblivion could be disintegrated into its original chaotic essence, erasing its current form from reality. Even more terrifying was the fact that the Rule could affect enemies whose strength exceeded Victor’s by as much as fifty times.

The moment the comprehension was complete...

Boom!

A terrifying pressure erupted from Victor’s body like an exploding universe.

The heavens trembled.

The earth fractured.

The surrounding space distorted violently as an overwhelming aura swept across the battlefield.

Every genius present instantly collapsed onto the ground.

Their bodies trembled uncontrollably as the horrifying pressure crushed them into the earth. Even breathing became an impossible task as fear filled their eyes.

Only Melina remained standing.

Her expression changed for the first time.

Without hesitation, she released her divine power, forming a radiant barrier around the fallen geniuses and shielding them from Victor’s terrifying aura.

Even so, the pressure continued battering against her protection like endless tidal waves.

"He’s... breaking through?"

Melina stared at Victor with undisguised disbelief.

"What kind of pressure is this...?"
