Chapter 156: Chapter 136: Ultimate Fighting

Inside the Ultimate Fighting arena, countless spectators were terrified, their scalps tingling with fear.

"They aren’t going to get carried away and start fighting over here, are they?"

"This is bad, we have to get out of here!"

"That’s terrifying! Just the aftershocks nearly killed us!"

In an instant, the entire stadium erupted in a clamor.

Suddenly, Orlando’s voice boomed through the venue as he began to placate the audience.

"Everyone, please remain inside the venue and do not move about. It is only safe inside. If you step outside, the aftershocks from the battle could very well cause you injury," Orlando announced.

"Injured? Are you sure we’d just be *injured* if we got caught in that?"

"What exactly are you people trying to do?"

"Did the World Fighters Association organize this tournament just to show off its power? Is the Monarch of the Dragon Country your master?"

....

There was no response. Regardless of the uproar, Orlando and the others didn’t reply. The image on the monitors simply became a little clearer.

To provide everyone with a more complete view of the fighting event, long-range cameras placed nearby in advance were now broadcasting live. Of course, it was still difficult to precisely capture the figures of Zhang Ji and the others. All that could be seen were the traces of destruction around the area and their occasional, fleeting silhouettes.

However, with multiple camera angles, some traces of them could ultimately be captured.

With the addition of AI enhancing and restoring the footage, which was then slowed down, it was enough for the audience to get a clear picture of the situation.

-----------------

Back in the fighting arena, Zhang Ji turned his gaze to Tran.

"Go easy on an old man like me," Tran said with a smile.

Despite his words, the skin between Tran’s eyebrows had already split open, revealing an orange crystal.

Superpower Crystal.

The external manifestation of Tran’s superpower gene.

His superpower came from an alien civilization called the Crystal Spirit Race.

An alien visitor had once crash-landed on Origin Star. With their ship damaged and unable to return to its home world, the visitor fell in love with a human from Origin Star. Their union gave birth to Tran, a new breed of human, a hybrid of human and Crystal Spirit.

Incidentally, as Tran’s descendant, Melia also possessed a superpower—a very special, utility-type one.

Just then, an orange sheen suddenly appeared on the surface of Tran’s body.

It was the manifestation of his Telekinesis.

Unlike ordinary, formless, and colorless Spirit Particles, Tran’s Telekinesis was a special substance born from the combination of his superpower and Spirit Particles.

It possessed the properties of Spirit Particles while also being a form of energy. It was capable of interfering with matter with hyper-precision, even allowing him to observe the strong nuclear force bonds within substances through his Telekinesis.

The potential for developing this superpower was so high it was beyond the imagination of an ordinary person. Even though he could currently only interfere slightly at the microscopic level, he could still unleash terrifying destructive power.

BOOM!

Tran’s body moved.

Or rather, his Telekinesis moved his body for him.

Though Telekinesis might sound like the ability of a long-range Mage, he was actually strong in both close-quarters and ranged combat.

This was his skill: Telekinetic Armament.

Telekinesis covered his cells, propelling his body into battle.

It was somewhat similar to Zhang Ji’s Qi Body.

BOOM!

Limbs clashed and energies collided. As the Qi Body made contact with the Telekinesis, a complex interplay of forces was transmitted.

The Qi Body worked to nullify and dissolve the opponent’s force, while the Telekinesis attempted to break down the Yuan Qi. By affecting matter with a special, ultra-high-frequency shockwave, it tried to directly induce nuclear changes and unleash energy.

RUMBLE!

Like a nuclear explosion, the surrounding air molecules detonated. One purple and one orange figure rapidly collided, speeding off into the distance and leaving a trail of countless explosions in their wake.

When it came to pure destruction, Tran was even more absurd than Elaven.

In a flash, the two figures shot past the edge of the designated arena, taking their fight outside the "ring."

The undeveloped area outside was covered in heavy snow and dotted with numerous glaciers.

However, as the two figures sped through, the region thundered. Ice and snow melted, the earth split open, and nothing but a trail of destruction remained in their path.

The three spectating Saint Kings hurriedly followed after them.

BOOM! RUMBLE-RUMBLE-RUMBLE!

A mushroom cloud bloomed from an explosion on the ground. Zhang Ji and Tran rushed toward each other and simultaneously unleashed their attacks.

Zhang Ji formed his hands into the shape of a lotus and pushed forward violently. A colossal purple Divine Dragon surged forth, while Tran unleashed one of his ultimate techniques: Telekinesis Particle Torrent!

The orange Telekinesis accelerated the surrounding air molecules and stray matter to a terrifying speed, transforming them into a crimson stream of particles that shot forward.

The two energy streams collided, sending aftershocks spreading in every direction. At the core of the clash, countless air particles were vaporized and annihilated. High temperatures and scattered Energy Particles shot outward, accompanied by a series of explosions that destroyed the land and obliterated everything in their path.

A ring-shaped quarantine zone, dozens of kilometers wide, formed naturally.

In this area, any falling snow vaporized on approach. The surrounding glaciers had already melted, forming a great river.

Zhang Ji was completely unscathed, while Tran’s aura had weakened slightly, leaving him looking somewhat battered.

He had come up short in their exchange.

’So strong!’

A rare look of shock appeared in Ferguson’s eyes.

Zhang Ji was holding the stage alone. He had fought four opponents in a row, maintaining the upper hand against all of them. Even now, he showed no signs of fatigue, his aura not weakening in the slightest.

Such strength was truly worthy of admiration.

Zhang Ji glanced at the four of them and smiled. The next moment, his aura began to surge wildly. He activated his previously untapped Primordial True Qi and entered a state of Spiritualization.

"Come at me all at once. Fighting you one by one is honestly no fun," Zhang Ji said.

His words were outrageously arrogant, especially since they were directed at four Saint King Level masters.

Yet, not one of the four Saint Kings refuted him.

This was because the aura and power Zhang Ji was now displaying sent their instincts screaming with warnings.

This was especially true for Giles.

His feral instincts were the sharpest, and he could sense that the current Zhang Ji was capable of killing him with ease.

The four exchanged thoughts via their Spirit Particles, their auras intertwining as they came to a decision.

"ROOOOAR!"

Giles hammered his chest with both fists. The next moment, he fully unleashed his bloodline. His eyes turned red, his rationality began to fade, and his body rapidly expanded, swelling to a colossal ninety meters in height.

THUD! THUD!

His massive form stomped on the ground, causing the earth for several miles around to collapse. At the same time, he swung a fist violently toward Zhang Ji.

Beneath his fist, space itself seemed to twist and distort.

In terms of sheer power, this punch had already reached the S-class domain.

A berserk bestiality and killing intent washed over Zhang Ji, causing him slight annoyance.

’Extreme hardness must be met with softness. Your killing intent... it’s too noisy.’

With both Spiritualization and Qi Body active, Zhang Ji raised his hand. Power diffused through his Qi Body as he struck out with a palm—Flower-Blooming Buddha: Annihilation.

His small palm collided with the house-sized fist, yet the result was utterly astonishing.

BOOM! BANG! RUMBLE-RUMBLE-RUMBLE-RUMBLE!

Zhang Ji’s palm strike dissipated Giles’s power and sent him flying, crashing into the ground with devastating force and carving out a massive crater like a meteor impact.

At the same moment, Cyril’s attack arrived.

A blue radiance coalesced at his fingertip, and a pillar of light shot forth.

Super Spirit Indication: Jumen!

It was Cyril’s ultimate technique, somewhat similar to Elaven’s Supreme Destruction Cannon.

A move that gathered every last bit of his energy and unleashed it in a single blast.

Moreover, in his Spiritualization state, his energy was extremely condensed. This attack was in no way inferior to Breaking Army—it might even surpass it.

Facing such an attack, Zhang Ji also extended his right arm, forming a sword-finger.

In the next instant, within the Yuan Qi furnace inside his body, Primordial True Qi accelerated through his Qi Veins, transforming into two types of Yuan Qi possessing the attributes of yin and yang.

Two rays of light—one the color of black jade, the other orange-red—shot out from his index and middle fingers.

He too was using Spiritualization, but Zhang Ji also had the enhancement of his Qi Body.

The power of this Yuan Qi finger was in no way weaker than Cyril’s attack; if anything, it was stronger.

RUMBLE-RUMBLE-RUMBLE!

PFFT!

The yin and yang energies clashed. The Yuan Qi finger attack tore through Cyril’s Jumen finger, pierced the air, and plunged straight into the earth. It traveled for dozens of kilometers, causing constant destruction along its path, completely altering the terrain and causing a mountain range to collapse.

"To turn heaven and earth upside down with but a flick of Qi," Zhang Ji murmured.

CRACKLE!

Before Zhang Ji could finish his posturing, countless bolts of lightning filled the sky, covering an area of over ten miles. All the electrical charge from the clouds in the heavens gathered in this one spot.

Ferguson’s figure was wreathed in lightning as he raised his hand toward Zhang Ji and clenched his fist.

Celestial Thunder Sect combat arts—Ten Thousand Thunders Attraction.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Bolt after bolt of lightning descended from the sky. The strikes were so thick they were practically pillars of thunder, and all of them rained down on Zhang Ji.

At the same time, a massive amount of Yuan Qi surged from the furnace within Zhang Ji, gushing out through his Qi Veins. A seven-colored light erupted violently, blanketing the entire world and forming a Yuan Qi domain. The bolts of lightning were brutally and unceremoniously scattered.

BOOM!

Zhang Ji raised his hand and, with a single palm strike, sent Ferguson flying.

"All Laws Return to Ruins—in this world, only Qi is eternal."

WHIRRRRRR!

The sound of disintegrating particles reached his ears. A smirk touched Zhang Ji’s lips as he turned to the side, brought his palms together, and thrust them forward.

A seven-colored Yuan Qi Divine Dragon slammed into Tran’s Telekinesis Disintegration Cannon.

The Telekinesis particles were meant to disintegrate all matter, to annihilate everything.

With a single thought from Zhang Ji, the seven-colored Divine Dragon merged into one. The five elements generated one another, then transformed into yin and yang. With each elemental transformation, the Yuan Qi Divine Dragon grew stronger, until it had cycled through all seven attributes. By then, the quality and intensity of this Yuan Qi wave had become outrageous.

PFFT-PFFT-PFFT-PFFT!

Tran’s Telekinesis particles were torn apart. He dodged the attack by a hair’s breadth, but Zhang Ji’s Divine Dragon continued onward, shattering glaciers, splitting open the newly formed ocean, and carving a massive abyss in its path before disappearing from sight.

"The true meaning of Xuan Qi is that all forms are formless," Zhang Ji stated calmly as he circulated his Yuan Qi.

Giles, beaten back to his original form, had a twisted right arm. Cyril had overdrawn his energy to the point where he could barely maintain his Spiritualization. Ferguson, though he had mitigated most of the damage from Zhang Ji’s palm strike through Half-Elementalization, was not in good shape either.

Tran was in better condition, but his strongest moves had all been neutralized by Zhang Ji. If Zhang Ji hadn’t held back slightly, he would never have been able to dodge that Divine Dragon Wave.

If it had hit, he would have been killed on the spot, his body and soul obliterated.

The four Saint Kings no longer had the strength to fight.

Having suppressed four of the world’s greatest masters all by himself, at this moment, Zhang Ji had become the Ultimate!!!
