Seth’s massive frame had tilted ever so slightly from the impact of the attack, some of the deadly beams tearing into his wings, but in the end, due to how absurd his sheer mass was, the injuries were merely micro tears that stung pretty badly rather than doing any real harm.

If by any chance Seth was actually a foe of the humans they’d be more successful in making him more mad than even inflicting vital damage.

This was the advantage of titan creatures, their absurd mass made them like indestructible, walking tanks, the bigger they were the more exaggerated their durability got.

Though there were ways to bypass these biological differences, in the end the inherent advantage made them greater threats.

"Seth?! How the fuck did you transform into... into... that!" Uriel asked, flabbergasted, via mental transmission, as the human soldiers behind him slowly backed down, their expression shifting from fearful to confused and shocked.

A faint ripple of purple spread, Seth’s familiar presence overflowing into the atmosphere as he descended downwards, his frame growing bigger the closer he got to the earth.

"Well, man, too long of a story to get into right now... it’s good to see that you guys seem to be doing well tho." Seth’s voice resounded, echoing through their minds via mental transmission.

The four members of team apex below glanced at each other and huffed in half relief half exasperation.

The earth trembled heavily as despite how gentle Seth tried to be, the storm wrought by his landing was tumultuous nonetheless.

"Hehe, good to see you doing good, big bro!" Brandon yelled excitedly, first to recover from shock, he had already arrived before Seth’s hulking frame in a blink as he admired the glistening, obsidian-scaled draconic frame Seth took.

No one could even begin to fathom how what they were looking at was possible, was this a temporary thing? Would it be permanent?

Did this guy just discover a way to tap into the form of another race as he saw fit? The group couldn’t even begin to speculate.

The regular soldier stared in awe and the Mexican and Canadian division leaders couldn’t even begin to process the sight before them. How were they supposed to report this to their higher-ups back home without looking like complete fools?

Meanwhile while some stared at him in awe and uncertainty, Seth, on the other hand, turned his neck backwards over his shoulder, as a sudden looming presence caught his attention, he frowned hard, fumes hissing from his snout.

Something was begging to happen to the inhabitants of this island, a change seeping into the atmosphere and it wasn’t good.

A low rumble resounded from the depth of Seth’s throat, an instinctive response to sensing the looming presence of a threat.

Seth began to sense that he wasn’t the only creature on this island bearing the halo of invincibility that was divinity.

His eyes went a few shades darker as the presence of divinity thickened in the atmosphere and began to multiply, it seemed his speculation was right, the flame dragons were undergoing a mass racial evolution.

But he never expected them to actually be elevating their status as a whole from regular titan beasts to the level of divine!

This was bad news for the human race, heck it was bad news for every sentient race not divine!

"Guys?" Seth called via mental transmission as he quickly let down a wing that the others could use as a platform to board his back. "I think we should go now!" his voice boomed in their minds with a commanding force.

Compelling the humans to get moving before considering his words. Sensing the sudden urgency in Seth’s voice, they hurried up his back, with Elaine finally seeking to ask once getting to a comfortable spot. "What’s wrong?"

The group went silent waiting for a response from Seth who had his gaze trained backwards, fumes clouding his nostrils and his tail coiling in wariness.

Seth felt the substantial weight dip of carrying all seven divisions upon his back, his mass not excusing the fact that each soldier donned mecha armour weighing several tons, carrying countless times more weight than soldiers of his division had on smaller exoskeletal battle suits.

This weight was going to affect his balance while flying for sure, but Seth didn’t care, as long as he could take the crew far enough so they could initiate the extermination protocol.

"The dragons..." Seth began to answer Elaine, a growl thundering as his frame began to rise, his four legs stretching upright and digging a few meters into the earth due to his weight.

"They seem to be molting into something dangerous..." he hissed, his wings rising as the humans braced, taking tight grip where they could, some smarter and linking themselves in support chains, in case one lost hold the others could pull him back.

And in regards to what Seth seemed to be saying, only the division captain seemed to have the mental capacity to spare any attention, the others more focused on the fact that they were about to be flying a literal dragon.

Seth’s wings flapped down heavily, his four limbs pushing his frame away from the earth and launching himself to the sky, his massive wings beating the air with such force a raging storm of gales was released in his wake.

[Warning! Time Left For Transformation: 0m:12s]

Seth squinted tight at the flash of the warning, understanding he had so little time to cover so much ground he threw all caution into the wind.

"Brace yourselves!" He warned, the wind pressure of the flight already taking its toll on the division forces, as even the division captains had to focus their all on grip and balance lest the wind take them flying, and now Seth’s warning only made them grow more tense, their adrenaline rush responding to his words.

Seth’s will welled, burning into space and folding reality, he activated the willborne skill, Dimensional Strider!

With a sonic boom his frame blasted through space, drawing a blurry streak through reality as he accelerated from the island, with the timer flashing red...

’Not enough...’ will flames dwindling to its last, as huge tears were ripped into space, forming literal space-time portals as the space-folding willborne skill was pushed to the extreme, his frame skipping hundreds of miles by the second, hopping into portal after portal of folded space.

Taking hold of the last trickle of will he could muster, Seth pulled on both time and spatial forces, slowing the flow of time around his being to a minimal level while accelerating himself into the distance.

And there the time clocked zero, without any willpower he could warn the others ahead, and suddenly mid-flight, bursting through space at such speeds, his massive frame began to diffuse into nothing.

"Um, Seth! What is happening?!"
