Chapter 350: Chapter 350: A United Front, Take Down the Great Swarm

Solomon Ennis’s gaze swept over Seraphina Sullivan and Sean Chandler.

Finally, it landed on the peculiar-looking Flora Sullivan.

A hint of curiosity and even stronger interest flashed in his eyes.

"A kill menu?"

Seraphina latched onto the term and looked at Dustin Sullivan.

Dustin Sullivan’s voice was icy. "It’s a list Solomon Ennis made himself. He records the names of any famous or powerful Players he takes a liking to—the ones he wants to hunt. He euphemistically calls it a ’menu’ for his own enjoyment. It’s the logic of a complete and utter madman."

After hearing the explanation, Seraphina was even more baffled.

She also couldn’t help but feel a sense of the absurd.

"This guy... he’s certainly got a unique sense of style. A kill list is a kill list, why call it a menu? Is he going to sort them into appetizers, main courses, and desserts?"

’Who does he think he is, Hannibal?’

Beside her, Flora Sullivan tilted her head.

Imitating a tone she had learned from a TV show, she commented in an innocent voice.

"Wow! I love it. So much ceremony, just like a supervillain! Maybe I should take a page from his book and make a gourmet menu. Then, if someone annoys me, I’ll eat them!"

Seraphina: ’The real Hannibal is right here next to me.’

Coco Sullivan: ???

She quickly tugged on Flora Sullivan’s arm.

"Flora!" she said urgently. "This is no time for jokes! That man is strong—incredibly dangerous! He’s not just playing a part. He actually kills people, and he does it in the most brutal ways."

Flora Sullivan pouted dismissively:

"No matter how strong he is, he can’t be stronger than my boss!"

Hearing this, Seraphina couldn’t help but cringe.

"Flora... this really isn’t the time to be drawing aggro onto me, your boss..."

Although she was indeed confident in her own strength.

But she didn’t want to needlessly become the primary target of someone who was so obviously a madman.

Sean Chandler had been observing calmly the whole time.

He chose this moment to speak up, drawing everyone’s attention back to the more urgent threat.

"Thinking about all this is useless now. Solomon Ennis is a huge problem, to be sure, but you may have misidentified our most immediate priority."

He pointed down at the Large Group·Aggregation zombie, which had already formed the upper half of its body and was still growing larger at a visibly rapid pace.

"That thing is the most direct and uncontrollable danger to all of us, right here and now."

"The threat it poses—at least in its current form and in this environment—is absolutely greater than that of Solomon Ennis alone."

Seraphina Sullivan also focused her mind.

"Sean’s right. Solomon Ennis is a potential and deadly threat, but that thing down there is a developing disaster that will attack all living things indiscriminately.

If we’re only focused on guarding against Solomon Ennis and let this aggregation take the opportunity to fully form, or get caught in its attack range, the consequences will be unthinkable."

Her gaze swept over Dustin Sullivan and Julian Shaw.

"Besides, since Solomon Ennis is here, his target likely includes this special zombie as well. That means we, and it—or rather, everyone here and that thing—are now in a temporary three-way, or even multi-way, standoff."

"What we need to be thinking about now is how to achieve our objective—or at least retreat safely—in this complicated situation."

Below, the roars of the aggregation zombie grew ever more piercing as its massive body absorbed and fused with several thousand more zombies.

A giant arm made of countless zombies pieced together had already taken shape.

The massive arm slammed into the ground, causing a tremor that shook the very earth.

Rubble and zombie remains flew everywhere.

This terrifying scene silently confirmed Seraphina Sullivan and Sean Chandler’s judgment.

"You’re right!" Julian Shaw decisively acted on Seraphina and Sean Chandler’s advice.

He quickly assigned tasks.

"Trevor Tanner, stay sharp! Keep your eyes on Solomon Ennis! If he makes any sudden moves or shows any intent to attack us, give us an immediate warning! Our top priority right now is dealing with this special aggregation. We can’t let him interfere!"

Trevor Tanner took a deep breath and nodded forcefully.

He focused most of his Perception on the water tower, his eyes behind his glasses locking onto the dark figure as he pushed his Power of Earth Talent to its limit.

A battle was imminent!

But Seraphina and her team were clearly not the only ones who wanted to kill this unprecedented special zombie for mission progress and potential rewards.

Almost at the same moment they made their decision, the other groups of Players who had been lying in wait could no longer contain themselves.

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH—!

Several figures suddenly rushed out from different directions.

Some brandished weapons, others unleashed ranged Energy Attacks,

and a few even summoned bizarre Battle Pets, all of them initiating the first assault on the massive aggregation!

Obviously, they didn’t want to wait for others to make the first move, and were even more afraid that the aggregation would continue to grow until it was uncontrollable.

However, the sheer terror of the special zombie, the Large Group·Aggregation, immediately taught the first movers a harsh lesson.

Facing the various incoming attacks, the aggregation’s "arm," made of countless zombies, swung!

BOOM!

With just a simple physical sweep.

The resulting gale and shock wave directly dispersed several of the ranged attacks!

A burly Player carrying a giant axe had charged in too close. He was clipped by the edge of the arm and sent flying backward, axe and all, as if he’d been hit by a truck. He was still in midair when he began to spray blood, finally crashing through a crumbling wall. His status was unknown!

"ROAR—!"

Several "mouths" on the aggregation’s head opened simultaneously, unleashing an earth-shattering roar—a composite of hundreds of hoarse, guttural screams!

The sound wave didn’t just carry a Spirit Shock.

It also physically blasted up rubble and dust from the ground, forcing the other attacking Players to halt their advance and deploy defensive measures.

In the face of the Large Group, ordinary attacks seemed pathetically weak.

"Hiss... That defense and Power..." Seraphina couldn’t help but marvel.

Even though she knew its stats thanks to her Eye of Resume, seeing its power firsthand was still far beyond her expectations.

This was definitely a "Boss Level" existence that required teamwork, or maybe even a temporary alliance between Players, to deal with.

The distant Solomon Ennis was also clearly captivated by the aggregation’s formidable display.

He was no longer just watching Dustin Sullivan’s group with a mocking gaze.

Instead, he watched the aggregation’s fighting style with great interest, his fingers unconsciously tapping on his arm as if he were evaluating something.

Of course, Seraphina Sullivan was not afraid of this Solomon Ennis.

As a fellow Divine Favored, she could sense the Divine Favor Aura from him—one that was completely different from her own, filled with brutality and killing intent—but she didn’t feel suppressed or afraid.

There might be ranks among Divine Favors, but there was no such thing as a one-sided, absolute counter.

In fact, Seraphina was confident that, given the chance, a single Space Bullet would leave him in a world of hurt.

The reason Dustin Sullivan and Julian Shaw were so wary of Solomon Ennis,

aside from his personal strength and infamous reputation, was likely their fear of some "rule-based" restrictive effect that might come with his Slaughter Art Talent.

It likely had a special suppressive or disruptive effect on the Abilities of regular Players.
