Chapter 258: Vincent Crashes Out!

  • Next Chapter

Arabella’s birthday party had been relatively modest and should not have attracted much attention.

However, a post titled "The Windsor Family’s Eldest Daughter Introduces a Mysterious Boyfriend to Her Parents!" quickly spread through Capital City’s upper-class circles.

The post even included a photograph of Luca and Arabella holding hands.

Some people initially claimed the picture was AI or had been edited, but their doubts were soon put to rest. Before long, other users began uploading photographs of the two together from different angles.

@HungryForRamen: "No way! The Windsor family’s little princess actually has someone she likes?"

@ArabellaAdmirer: "I’m heartbroken. Am I really supposed to sit here and watch my goddess become someone else’s woman?"

@LostOnEpsteinsIsland: "What does that have to do with you? You should mind your own business, pervert."

@ManeeshOnTheBeat: "The person above me speaks the truth. I wanted to say the same thing, but I didn’t have the courage."

The news that the eldest daughter of the Windsor family had fallen in love, and that Victoria Windsor was satisfied with her daughter’s boyfriend, continued to spread.

Many second-generation heirs from Capital City’s entertainment industry were especially envious. After all, Arabella was the little princess of the Windsor family.

In a city as large as The Capital City, it was not impossible to find women who rivaled her in appearance.

But very few could match her status.

Arabella possessed beauty, talent, and an extraordinary family background. Even Vincent Denim, one of the most prominent young masters in the capital, had once pursued her relentlessly.

His grand confession had failed to move her, leaving him depressed for a long time. He eventually married a young woman from a lesser-known family.

Yet the woman who had once seemed untouchable had now fallen in love.

Not only had she invited her boyfriend to her birthday party, but she had also introduced him to her parents.

Countless young men had their hearts broken that night.

The Windsor family celebrated, while thousands of admirers mourned.

Naturally, no one was more affected than Vincent Denim, the eldest son of Maison Premier.

Crash!

"Get out! All of you, get out!"

His furious roar echoed from the study, startling the maids waiting outside.

Within moments, everyone, including the butler, hurried away from the room.

"What happened? Why is he so angry?"

A beautiful young woman in an elegant outfit approached the study.

She stopped in front of the butler and servants, her expression puzzled.

"Madam..."

The butler hesitated, his eyes shifting uneasily.

The maids lowered their heads and remained silent, clearly afraid to speak.

Stephanie frowned slightly.

"Tell me what happened."

After being questioned several times, the butler finally offered a vague explanation.

When Stephanie learned that Vincent had lost his temper because Arabella had a boyfriend, her expression gradually darkened.

Although their marriage had been arranged by their families, Stephanie had admired Vincent since childhood. Over the years, that admiration had slowly developed into love.

Vincent, however, had never returned her feelings. His heart had always belonged to Arabella.

Stephanie had tried to let go of those feelings before. She knew that, no matter how she looked at it, she could never compare with the daughter of the Windsor family.

So she had buried her love and accepted her place beside him.

Unexpectedly, Arabella had rejected Vincent’s confession in front of everyone. That moment had rekindled Stephanie’s long-suppressed hope.

Later, Vincent successfully took over as chairman of Maison Premier.

Alongside the company’s established businesses, he began expanding into the software industry. The Hart family happened to own a well-established software studio, and the two families quickly found common ground.

That cooperation eventually led to Stephanie and Vincent’s marriage.

Afterward, however, Vincent devoted most of his time to work. They rarely spent time alone together, and even their private moments were rushed and perfunctory.

He was also careful about contraception, which explained why Stephanie had still not given birth to a child for Maison Premier.

At first, she had wondered whether Vincent had some kind of physical problem.

She had never imagined that, after all these years, her husband was still in love with another woman.

Stephanie didn’t know what she felt anymore.

Anger?

No.

Perhaps it was simply pathetic.

She had married the man she had loved for years, hoping that marriage would finally bring them closer. Instead, she had discovered that his heart had always belonged to someone else.

This was the first time she had seen Vincent lose control so completely since she married into Maison Premier.

And the person who had triggered his anger was the last woman Stephanie wanted to confront.

She closed her eyes, a faint trace of pain crossing her face.

After taking a slow breath, she opened them again. Her usual gentle smile returned.

Turning toward the servants, she said calmly, "You should all go and rest. I’ll go in and check on him."

Once the butler and maids had left, Stephanie turned toward the study.

She stopped outside the door, took a deep breath, and knocked gently.

Knock, knock, knock.

"I told you to get lost! Don’t you understand plain English?"

Vincent’s furious voice came from inside, followed by the sound of glass shattering.

Stephanie’s fingertips trembled. She curled her hands into fists, gritted her teeth, and finally pushed the door open.

Creak.

Before she even stepped inside, she frowned at the state of the room.

Furniture had been overturned, papers were scattered across the floor, and broken glass glittered beneath the lights.

As she entered, she looked up and met Vincent’s bloodshot eyes.

Her heart skipped a beat.

Suppressing her fear, she took a deep breath and forced a gentle smile.

"Honey, calm down. I made you some honey tea. Would you like some?"

Her voice was soft and soothing, like a feather brushing across still water.

In the past, whenever business troubles put Vincent in a bad mood, Stephanie had comforted him this way. He had always praised her for being understanding and considerate.

She knew he would not be so easy to calm down tonight.

Still, she had not expected his next words.

They struck her like a bolt of lightning, leaving her mind blank.

Vincent’s lips curled into a mocking smile.

"Are you here to laugh at me too?"

His voice was cold and vicious.

"Will you be discussing me online with everyone else tonight? The eldest son of Maison Premier, who loves a woman he can never have?"

Crash!

The more he spoke, the more uncontrollable his anger became.

He grabbed the desk and overturned it, sending writing brushes, ink, and paper scattering across the floor.

As though that were not enough, he turned toward the wall and tore his favorite painting apart.

"Honey, I didn’t..."

Stephanie knew Vincent didn’t love her, but she could not accept such a cruel accusation, especially from the man who shared her bed.

"No?"

Vincent licked his lips, his expression twisted with anger.

"Then prove it."

He pointed toward the bedroom.

"Go change into a white dress and lie down here."
