Infinite Ascension: The Chronicles Of The Infinite One
Chapter 38: The Realms Of Cultivation
Chapter 38: Chapter 38: The Realms Of Cultivation
Sitting cross-legged on the golden liquid plane, Aeon silently mapped out the entire dimensional framework of the upcoming cultivation ranks across all three paths inside his memory.
He analyzed the information carefully, identifyin that all the paths within the E-rank threshold some similarities with the exception of the Arcane path, which followed a slightly altered parts.
For standard cultivators of the Warrior Path, breaking into the E-rank demands the systematic mapping and unlocking of exactly 701 physical nodes or gates inside their bodies.
These internal gates operate essentially like acupuncture points, acting as the primary natural seals that hold an entity’s latent life force, or Aura.
Under the universal laws of Nexos Earth, if a regular warrior successfully unseals 700 of these baseline nodes, they gain structural access to their Aura—but they are strictly prohibited from drawing upon it under normal circumstances.
They can only instinctively trigger the force when placed in a state of absolute, life-threatening danger. Furthermore, the consequence of using the Aura is prematurely devastation, directly deducting a massive chunk of the cultivator’s physical lifespan with every single activation.
The remaining 1 gate is officially designated as the Gate of Consciousness . A warrior must carefully crack this specific node to ensure their soul can naturally grow and expand in perfect harmonization with their bodies.
Unlocking this node does not grant the warrior the ability to manipulate spiritual energy or execute complex soul arts; it simply guarantees that the physical body, the vessel possesses a sufficiently powerful, unyielding soul.
If a cultivator achieves a state of absolute physical immortality but fails to reinforce their soul, their consciousness will still instantly perish under the weight of age or higher-tier cosmic pressure. Thus, opening the Gate of Consciousness is a mandatory law of universal balance.
An identical cosmic law governs the development of the Arcane Path within this same tier. A Mage must successfully open a single Cosmic Channel—the internal Channel of Consciousness, while simultaneously compressing and manifesting their second Cosmic Ring.
The developmental track of the Spiritual Path, conversely, acts as the exact mirror opposite of the physical systems. To achieve a breakthrough into the E-rank of the Soul Path, a cultivator must unlock exactly 701 spiritual nodes, which are officially categorized as Apertures.
700 of these nodes are designated as Mental Apertures. Unsealing these apertures grants a Soul Master the absolute spatial capacity to store raw, unrefined spiritual energy directly inside the boundaries of their Sea of Consciousness, allowing them to freely refine the energy mass at any given second inside their Soul Core.
The final 1 remaining aperture is configured entirely for the physical body. During the initial F-rank, a Soul practitioner can only use their spiritual mass to temporarily enforce a brief surge of physical durability into their muscles. But the exact millisecond this specific bodily aperture is successfully unlocked within the E-rank, the cultivator gains the clearance to continuously nourish, reinforce, and permanently strengthen their physical shell.
While this passive spiritual body tempering is nowhere near as strongly dense or heavy as the specialized conditioning of the Warrior or Arcane paths, it fulfills a critical evolutionary purpose.
It ensures the physical body can live long enough to match the near-endless lifespan of the soul, survive extreme environmental or dimensional disadvantages, and withstand the terrifying, crushing recoil of their own Soul power.
-------
As a cultivator advances into the highly contested D-rank, the pathways diverge completely.
Within the D-rank, the Warrior Path undergoes a radical energetic transformation.
Practitioners must actively fuse the pure cosmic energy stored inside their core with their freshly unlocked Aura, synthesizing a brand-new, energy source officially known as Martial Cosmic Energy.
It is at this precise intersection that a warrior finally gains the authority to manifest their energies outside their physical body, allowing them to unleash advanced Martial Arts, energy strikes, and high-tier defensive techniques that strictly require externalized energy to execute.
The Arcane Path proceeds down a different track, demanding the compression and manifestation of a third Cosmic Ring. However, the creation process of this ring requires an exceptionally profound, highly advanced understanding of the cultivator’s affinities and the underlying abstract concepts of magic.
The more high-tier the runes engraved into the ring’s architecture, the more devastating the Mage’s power output on the battlefield.
Meanwhile, Spiritual Path cultivators within the D-rank must focus entirely on expanding the spatial parameters of their Sea of Consciousness.
Since their 700 Mental Apertures are already fully unsealed and capable of storing raw energy, their primary objective is to continuously fill the entire inner mental ocean with unrefined spiritual mass.
Once the ocean reaches 100% capacity, the practitioner must aggressively but carefully project their stored spiritual energy outward, forcefully pushing against the invisible spatial barriers holding the domain from every single direction.
Once the boundaries fracture and expand, leaving a massive vacancy, they must repeat the entire absorption cycle. This constant, grueling cycle of maximum compression and forceful expansion progressively hardens the structural walls of the Sea of Consciousness, while expanding its size.
------
Upon scaling the mountain into the coveted C-rank, the parameters shift once more.
For a Warrior Path cultivator, the process at C-rank remains structurally straightforward.
They must completely master the manipulation and control of their Martial Cosmic Energy, continuously refining its purity directly inside their lower dantian core.
Naturally, due to the staggering mass of energy being compressed inward, the physical boundaries of the lower dantian core will begin to grow exponentially wider and wider at this stage. And of course their bodies grow stronger and stronger.
For the Arcane Path, the C-rank demands the creation of a fourth Cosmic Ring, alongside a continuous, rigorous upgrade of their runic arsenal, magical insights, and affinityies comprehension.
For the Spiritual Path, the C-rank marks the monumental transition into the manifestation of the Infant Soul. By carefully drawing upon the Soul Blood stored within the center of their core, a practitioner must give a form to their formless soul. This is the definitive stage where a cultivator’s soul officially breaks away from a simple consciousness to take a transparent physical form—specifically adopting the exact structure of their physical race, mirroring how they looked when they were newborn infants.
------
Finally, reaching the prestigious B-rank forces a monumental leap in raw power.
Cultivators who master the B-rank of the Warrior Path are universally revered across the continents as Grandmasters.
They have refined and mastered the control of their Martial Cosmic Energy to such an absolute, flawless degree that they can effortlessly manifest any physical weapon, object, or protective construct using nothing but raw energy alone.
At this elite stage, their lower dantian core has standardly expanded to match the massive spatial size of an entire metropolitan city.
Concurrently, Arcane Path cultivators must compress and manifest their fifth Cosmic Ring. Although the instructional script sounds deceptively simple on paper, the underlying difficulty scales exponentially with every tier.
The process forces the Mage to cross into the higher realms of cosmic enlightenment, demanding they deeply understand the raw, primal origin laws of Magic itself. The higher the rank, the more enlightenment and comprehension is needed for the next.
The Spiritual Path at the B-rank takes the most drastic leap of all . Practitioners must actively cultivate their small Infant Soul to undergo rapid, careful evolution, mutating its form base to transform it cleanly into a Teenage Soul.
To bridge this massive evolutionary gap, a Soul Master must continuously cultivate, absorb, and refine unprecedented waves of raw spiritual energy, while comprehensively mastering high-tier soul arts, mental array structures, and conceptual techniques.
------
Having meticulously reviewed the complete structural roadmap of all three paths , Aeon brought his internal analysis to a halt.
His immediate goal was set. He would focus entirely on cultivating through these four ranks first.
from E-rank all the way to the peak of the B-rank, across every single one of his paths.
"This is undeniably going to be a long, grueling journey," Aeon murmured aloud, his eyes flashing with a spark of unyielding determination as he looked out across his boundless domain.
He took a slow, deep breath, locking down his consciousness to plunge straight back into the cultivation grind.
He resolved to initiate the grand campaign by conquering the E-rank of the Warrior Path first.
"Under the normal, universal laws of this universe, those 700 baseline acupuncture gates are scattered across highly specific, limited regions of the anatomy—anchored inside the internal organs, the skeletal structure, the veins, and the meridians," Aeon said, his eyes narrowing as he easily dismantled the traditional manual.
"But following a standard script is completely worthless for my foundation. I am going to take this concept to an entirely reality-breaking level."
He paused for a brief moment as the sheer, chaotic profoundness of his method finalized its form within his mind.
A wide confident grin spread across his handsome face, and he burst into a loud, mocking laugh at the universe’s restrictions.
"Instead of wastefully opening only 700 gates in those restricted areas... I will open the gates inside every single individual cell of my entire physical body! Hahahahaha!"

#N/A: I am sorry guys. I know this Chapter is more like an information dumb. But I wanted to make sure I explained every rank in each path before I create an auxiliary Chapter for it.
I want to make sure my story feels strong, not slow, but not fast and at the same time cover all important parts, instead of skipping them.
That is why i decided to stop at B-rank. And only briefly explain how the mc cultivate them in the next Chapter before a time skip.
Thanks for reading my book. Follow for more.
