Infinite Ascension: The Chronicles Of The Infinite One
Chapter 32: The Archive
Chapter 32: Chapter 32: The Archive
Aeon stood in the center of the plain, thoroughly baffled by the absolute destruction level of the attack. Under the standard rules of the universe, this catastrophic output did not originate from the cosmic reserves stored inside his lower dantian core.
Instead, it was raw energy harnessed directly from the Infinite Void concept itself. Thanks to his absolute connection and flawless control over the Infinite Void, he was fully capable of utilizing its conceptual energy .
By actively manipulating the untamed Void energy and compressing it past its limits, he had effortlessly created the miniature black hole that had cleanly erased a third of the mountain from existence.
Naturally, under the traditional laws of the universe, Warrior Path cultivators are completely unable to harness or utilize the cosmic energy trapped inside their core until they successfully shatter the boundary into the D-rank.
In return for this early energy restriction, however, they are granted a significantly higher threshold of raw physical power and muscular density. But Aeon completely ignored that restriction.
He didn’t allow himself to stay shocked for too long. Shifting his stance, he immediately began drawing upon the other raw energies flowing from his sixteen affinities.
Within seconds, he compressed a miniature, blinding sun directly over his palm and launched the roaring ball of solar fire straight toward the reconstructing framework of the mountain he had attacked earlier.
BOOOM! BUUUM!
The massive shockwaves blasted across the terrain, the sheer velocity of his rapid-fire testing completely altering the localized landscape.
It was almost as if the battered landmark itself were crying out in sheer terror: ’Stooop! Someone help meeee!’
But Aeon had absolutely no intention of stopping there. For three continuous hours of internal time, he aggressively experimented with the rest of his active abilities, systematically testing the parameters of his Progenitor bloodlines, his special talents, and his Infinite-rank physiques.
He wanted to achieve a flawless, first-hand operational understanding of his arsenal rather than just reading their technical system descriptions or feeling their connection to his existence.
To him, the raw data of the field test was nothing short of amazing.
During the relentless process of pushing his newborn attributes to their limits, the immense pressure of his abilities and techniques he created at the spot accidentally pulverized and destroyed several localized sub-worlds and floating planetary bodies within his domain, before the absolute, automated laws of his pocket omniverse cleanly reconstructed them back into their original states a second later.

Having thoroughly mapped out his baseline combat output, Aeon finally stopped his maniacal training experiment to initialize his next critical step: cultivating the Arcane Path.
His immediate strategic goal was to first cultivate the absolute baseline rank of all three major paths simultaneously, building a perfect, synchronized equilibrium across his existance while experiencing the developmental mechanics of each path to its absolute maximum capacity.
In the know history, the F-rank of the Arcane Path focuses entirely on the meticulous refinement of the human heart, the tempering of the internal heart core, and the creation of a cultivator’s very first Cosmic Ring.
This method stood in stark contrast to the physical body tempering of the Warrior Path, which primarily relied on kinetic exercise routines, physical training movements, and cosmic energy collisions to structurally refine the anatomy.
The Arcane Path, conversely, required a cultivator to utilize raw cosmic energy to manifest a condensed ring directly around their physical heart, constantly rotating the energy circle to force pure cosmic power to flood into the heart tissue and saturate the internal magical core.
Because the heart functions as the absolute, most fragile engine of an entity’s lifespans, it cannot be subjected to the brutal, chaotic atomization loops of the Warrior Path. It standardly required exceptionally slow, highly gentle, and meticulous cultivation steps to prevent mistakes.
But for Aeon, the rules of reality were fundamentally different. Because his previous runic loop had already successfully atomized and refined every single component of his entire physical body—including his cardiac tissue, his heart was already structurally indestructible.
What remained for him to do was simply refine his internal heart core and manifest his first official Cosmic Ring.
A Cosmic Ring was essentially a massive amount of highly condensed cosmic energy shaped into the precise form of a planetary ring, which was then permanently encrypted and engraved with runes representing the cultivator’s unique understanding of magic.
How exactly did this runic encryption process operate? When a standard cultivator continuously compressed the cosmic energy to successfully manifest the floating Cosmic Ring around their heart, they had to manually engrave a corresponding affinity/s glyph into the ring’s structure.
For instance, if a person possessed a fire affinity, they would inscribe a specialized fire rune directly into the cosmic ring; from that exact moment onward, they gained the baseline clearance required to project fire magic into reality.
Of course, the magical path did not end at that basic tier. Inscribing simple singular runes was merely the opening step that granted a beginner access to raw magic.
The subsequent progression step within the Mortal Realm required a cultivator to utilize complex Magic Circles, permanently engraving them directly into their active Cosmic Ring.
Magic Circles operated like the combat techniques of the Warrior Path, functioning as specialized spell matrices utilized for absolute offensive attacks, high-tier life support arrays, or structural utility maneuvers.
Furthermore, these intricate circles could be utilized to permanently anchor and display whatever profound insights a cultivator discovered regarding the inner laws of their respective affinities.
"If I want to elevate my first Cosmic Ring to an entirely unprecedented level, I need to look past basic formulas and deeply understand the primal concepts of magic itself," Aeon murmured to himself, his cosmic eyes narrowing in calculation.
"And thanks to my Infinite Comprehension and the absolute connection to magic granted by my new physique, unravelling those ancient concepts will be exceptionally easy."
With a simple thought, his physical form vanished from the open plains, instantly materializing within a completely different, highly critical sub-world of his pocket omniverse.
The moment his boots touched the ground, a towering, breathtaking structure dominated his entire field of vision. Standing majestically before him was a colossal, seemingly endless skyscraper.
This was entirely unlike the towers or he had seen in Nexos Earth. It housed no violent traps, hidden monsters, or developmental trials. Instead, it held something infinitely more powerful: Absolute, boundless knowledge.
This legendary structure was officially designated as [The Archive]. It was a supreme sanctuary where he could freely source absolutely any piece of knowledge, history, or technique in existence—though obtaining access to its higher chambers was impossibleat the moment.
The Archive possessed ten distinct structural levels, each holding unimaginable chunks of cosmic knowledge. At his current baseline stage, Aeon only held the administrative clearance required to access the very first level.
Yet, even within the confines of this basic first level, the sheer volume of hidden secrets and prime techniques resting on the shelves was enough to drive the most powerful Archmages and Emperors of Nexos Earth into an absolute fit of burning jealousy and deep envy, if they ever discovered its existence.
Aeon marched purposefully forward, stepping straight through the grand entrance of the tower.
The interior structure was constructed entirely from a smooth, mirror-like material that resembled polished black obsidian.
A massive, heavily reinforced double door was mounted onto the front framework, radiating a profound, intensely soothing aura of absolute calmness that blanketed the entire perimeter of the tower.
Aeon placed his palm against the smooth obsidian surface, causing the massive door to slide open silently with a fluid motion reminiscent of a futuristic elevator.
The interior opened up into a spacious, deeply magical hall. Towering bookshelves constructed from rare wood stretched up toward the ceiling, while countless ancient grimoires and handwritten leather journals quietly floated through the air or suspended smoothly in mid-space.
The floor beneath his boots was decorated with immaculate white marble tiles, creating a magnificent, breathtaking architectural view.
The exact millisecond Aeon crossed the threshold into the tower, a soft ball of pure white light detatched itself from a distant shelf, flying gracefully through the air toward his position.
The glowing ball of light came to a smooth halt directly in front of him, the light rapidly condensing into the physical form of a beautiful, palm-sized fairy.
She possessed long, silver-white hair and a set of shimmering, vibrantly colorful wings, dressed elegantly in a flowing blue gown.
She offered a polite, dignified bow as her melodic voice echoed through the hall. "Welcome back to the Archive, Master. What specific branch of knowledge would you like to read through today?"
Aeon smiled warmly, genuinely pleased by her presence. "Hello, Ella. How are you doing? I need you to pull up every single manual, journal, and research text related to the advanced theories of magic and the hyper-compression methods used to forge a perfect Cosmic Ring."
While Aeon already possessed the standard baseline knowledge of cosmic ring construction from his five years of studying under his mother, his Infinite Comprehension guaranteed that he could easily engineer an entirely advanced, flawless method to create a perfect Cosmic Ring.
However, even the basic principles found inside this tower operated on an entirely different paradigm.
The magical formulas taught to noble children in the outside world were theories created over thousands or hundreds of thousands of years—depending entirely on how long the high dragons or the other ancient races had existed in their isolated dimensions before the Great Merge brought them to Earth.
But the foundational knowledge resting inside this Archive was different. It held the original, unadulterated laws forged since the initial dawn of cosmic cultivation and the literal beginning of time itself.
Of course his origin rank cultivation technique [Omni-Genesis Cosmos Scripture] gave him a lot of information and understanding, but he wanted more.
Ella offered a serene, beautiful smile, her voice carrying a composed, professional rhythm as she replied, "I am doing exceptionally well, Master. I will have the designated texts organized and prepared for your review in just a moment. Please take a seat in the reading lounge."
Unlike her chaotic, hyper-active, and highly irresponsible twin sister Emma, Ella was the absolute embodiment of calm, poised, and dignified composition—standing as the exact operational opposite of her sibling. She took her administrative responsibilities as the sole keeper of the Archive with absolute seriousness.
After a brief minute of waiting, a massive stack of ancient leather books was neatly organized on a wide mahogany table within the private reading section.
Aeon approached the area, settling comfortably into a plush sofa chair as he reached out to claim the very first volume at the top of the pile.
The heavy leather cover was engraved with bold, ancient text: [The Primordial Theory of Magic] authored by [The Primordial Sage].
Aeon’s eyes widened slightly as he stared at the author’s name. In the wider universe, the title of ’Primordial’ was a cosmic designation that no cultivator could ever dare to use lightly without instantly triggering a fatal backlash from the laws of reality.
A dark smirk played on his lips as he correctly deduced that the author of this basic introductory script was an absolute, ancient Primordial Entity.
"Alright," Aeon murmured, a competitive fire igniting in his thoughts as he flipped the heavy cover open. "Time to read."
