Chapter 200 Blueprint for the Entire Outer City and Xiaoxiao, The Genius Revealed

  • Next Chapter

After the grand banquet concluded and the managers returned to their homes in a state of euphoric disbelief, the Heaven’s Table finally quieted down.

However, inside the office room on the top floor, the lights were still burning brightly.

Yu Liang, Mei Hua, and Xiaoxiao were gathered around a massive, ten meter wide table. Hovering above the table was a magnificent, three dimensional spiritual projection map of the entire Outer City.

Every street, every alley and every building was illuminated in glowing, intricate detail.

"We have acquired all businesses, but this is merely the first step," Yu Liang said as his finger traced the glowing lines of the map.

His eyes were sharp, filled with the ambition of a conqueror which he didn’t know. "Right now, they are just separate shops scattered across the city. That is too inefficient for my future plans. I want to reconstruct this entire commercial layout of the Outer City. I want every single shop, every warehouse, and every street to be interconnected, forming a single, flawless commercial empire."

Mei Hua nodded in understanding, her beautiful eyes reflected the light of the map. "Just like an unified array. If we connect them together then everything including the logistics will increase the efficiency by atleast tenfold. But the scale of this reconstruction is massive. It requires not just immense wealth, but an also group of people highly skilled in design and architectural planning."

Yu Liang smiled and turned his gaze to the young woman standing quietly beside him. "Which is exactly why I brought Xiaoxiao here today."

Xiaoxiao blinked, her clear eyes full of confusion. She was still wearing her neat, modest waitress uniform, looking completely out of place next to the two towering figures of Yu Liang and Mei Hua.

"Young Master... me?" Xiaoxiao pointed to herself as her voice trembling slightly.

"Yes, you," Yu Liang said. "Do you think I just randomly invited you to the Jade City? Your understanding of the aesthetic design, and knowledge of structural flow is absolutely top notch. You have a talent for architectural design that was just buried because you never had the resources to develop it, that’s why you remeber number 1 remember?"

Xiaoxiao’s face flushed red. She had only done it halfway thinking it would make the most of money and win the mission reward.

She never imagined that her Young Master would really go through with his promise.

"Therefore," Yu Liang continued, "I am officially appointing you as the Chief Architect and Main Head of the Outer City Reconstruction Project. You will be in charge of designing the new layout, connecting the shops, and overseeing the renovation of the entire outer city."

Hearing this, Xiaoxiao’s face instantly turned pale. She waved her hands frantically and stammered as she spoke.

"N-no! Young Master, you... you must be joking!" Xiaoxiao’s eyes were wide with panic. "I’m just a lowly waitress now and a outer sect disciple! I don’t have any formal training from a master! I’m not that highly skilled! This is a project involving hundreds of shops and b-b-billions of spiritual stones! If I mess up the design, if I ruin the arrays or misjudge the structure, it would be a catastrophic loss! I... I can’t do it! Please don’t joke with me, Young Master, I’m not that worthy!"

She was terrified. In the cultivation world, taking on a responsibility you couldn’t handle was equivalent for asking death. She didn’t want to be the one who ruined her Young Master’s grand plan even though she knew he will never blame her.

Seeing her panic, Mei Hua stepped forward. Her expression softened into a gentle, elder sister like smile. She reached out and gently patted Xiaoxiao’s shoulder, infusing a warm, soothing strand of spiritual energy into her body to calm her racing heart.

"Don’t be afraid, Xiaoxiao," Mei Hua said as her voice soft filled with undeniable confidence. "Young Master has his eyes on you, and he never makes a wrong judgment. If he says you have the talent, then you do."

"But Madam, the scale of this..." Xiaoxiao bit her lip.

"Scale is not a problem," Mei Hua interrupted gently. "Listen to me. It is completely okay if you make mistakes or if you feel overwhelmed. You are not doing this alone. If there is any problem any problem or any thing that you cannot figure out, I will be right here to help you."

Mei Hua’s eyes flashed with a majestic light. "With my backing and my understanding of the Formations, I can easily fix any issues or reinforce any your design. You just need to focus on your creativity and your thinking. I will be your shield and your safety net. Do you understand?"

Xiaoxiao looked at Mei Hua’s encouraging eyes, then at Yu Liang’s trusting smile. The hesitation eating her and the fear in her body was chased away by then.

She took a deep breath, her trembling hands slowly clenched into fists.

"I... I understand. Thank you, Young Master. Thank you, Mistress Mei hua. I... I will do my best! I will design the most perfect city in the world!" Xiaoxiao’s eyes finally shone with determination.

"Good," Yu Liang smiled while clapping his hands together. "Now, let’s get to work. Show us your vision for the Outer City."

With her fear dispelled, Xiaoxiao’s innate genius truly began to shine. She stepped up to the holographic map, her fingers danced lightly over the glowing lights.

Her mind, previously constrained by her lowly status, was now unleashed, fueled by the unlimited budget and the backing of two absolute monsters.

The three of them began to brainstorm, and soon, the room was filled with excited discussions.

"Here," Xiaoxiao pointed to the central intersection of the four main districts. "Instead of a normal crossroad, we can excavate the earth and build a massive, sunken Plaza. We can install a spiritual sprayer in the center that sprays pure, mist like spiritual energy, benefiting every mortal and cultivator who walks through it!"

"Brilliant!" Yu Liang praised. "And what about the next?"

"We can’t have delivery carts blocking the streets," Xiaoxiao’s eyes lit up as she traced underground lines on the map. "We will build a network of high speed transmission channels! Shops can send their goods directly to the warehouses or to customer’s homes in seconds, completely eliminating street congestion!"

Mei Hua nodded in approval, adding her own input. "For the VIP customers, we need can prepare seperately. We can also construct interconnected walkways, suspended fifty feet in the air to achieve maximum efficiency. They will be lined with arrays and warming formations, allowing the people to walk between the high end shops directly."

"Yes!" Xiaoxiao excitedly expanded on the idea. "And we will zone the city by elements! The Pill District in the East, connected by a Wood Fire gathering array to keep the alchemy furnaces burning efficiently. The Artifact District in the West, connected by a Metal Earth array to temper the weapons. The streets themselves will be paved with sound absorbing array, so the entire city will be as quiet and peaceful as a heavenly palace!"

Hour after hour, they refined the blueprint. They designed floating gardens for the herb shops, automated spiritual elevators for the multi story pavilions, and a unified, city wide defensive array that doubled as a massive illumination formation at night.

By the time the sky outside began to turn a faint, pale white, the holographic map had been completely altered.

The new design of the Outer City was no longer just a commercial hub, it was a breathtaking masterpiece of architecture and formation arts.

It was a city that would make the Inner City look like a slum in comparison.

Yu Liang looked at the glowing, magnificent blueprint with a satisfied smile on his face. The Outer City was about to undergo a rebirth that would shake the entire cultivation world.
