Chapter 142: Going Back**

After a couple more times, Derrick and Beth finally stopped. The sun was already quite high and the dashboard showed that it was 11 am in the morning.

Derrick made the car drive them back to the villa they left from yesterday.

“What are you thinking about?” Derrick saw Beth staring down at her stomach, lost in thought.

They were now dressed back again. But their clothes were too now covered in their fluids.

The car had an auto cleaning function but it could not help with their bodies and clothes.

“W-what if I get pregnant?” After some hesitation, Beth suddenly voiced out her concerns. “It’s not that I don’t want your baby but I am not sure we are ready yet.”

She was still embarrassed to talk about their sex. But she knew the way they went at it, it would not be a surprise if she got knocked up.

After all, neither did she took a pill nor did Derrick use protection.

After finally letting out what had been bothering her, she raised her head to look at Derrick.

But when she saw his head turned away and his shoulders trembling, her embarrassment disappeared and got replaced by annoyance.

Smack!

She smacked him in the back and asked, “What is it? Do you think I am joking here? I am seriously worried about your future. You are still young. What will your mother think of me when she learns that I go—”

“I am sorry.” Derrick finally laughed under her nervous eyes and said, “I already took a pill before we left the villa. It kills all the sperms right for a whole year.”

“Since I have no intentions of becoming a father any time soon, I took it.”

Beth’s eyes widened, “And you couldn’t have told me that before?”

She pouted and looked away when’s he suddenly recalled something and said. “Why one year?”

She narrowed her eyes and asked, “don’t tell me you plan to sleep with other girls after you leave for the academy.”

She turned around to face him again but Derrick blocked her mouth with a kiss. She tried to resist but her efforts were futile and she slowly lost the control to him gradually.

When Derrick pulled back, she lowered her head and whispered in a dreamy voice, “You are impossible.”

“Don’t worry, I don’t think I will like any girls at the academy.” Derrick pulled her in his lap once more and traced his fingers down her spine.

Leaning her back against his chest, Beth spoke, “I know you will be flocked by many women because you are honestly quite brilliant. I fell for you the moment I saw you.”

“So I have decided.” She suddenly declared and turned around. She placed her legs around him and leaned stood over him and kissed him hard before biting his lower lip and drawing a trail of blood.

“I don’t mind you having more girlfriends. Because I know it will happen eventually.” Beth knew the truth about powerful men, they all had multiple wives because their wives could not keep up with them.

“But in return I want your promise.” Derrick did not try to speak a word, defend himself or refute her words. He wanted to listen to her words, let her speak the conviction she had reached after much deliberation. “I don’t want you to cheat on me.”

“And I don’t want you go after woman, just because they are beautiful and nice to you. Dear, everyone will be at the top and they will be genuine too.” She cupped his face and licked the blood on her lips.

“I want you to find the women who will stay with you if you don’t even have anything. I know there is no such thing as unconditional love but I want you to find love that is not fragile. Because the more women you love, the less meaning it will have.”

Seeing how attentively he was listening to her words without interrupting her, made her heart swoon. ‘I did not make a wrong choice choosing this man.’

Derrick could see love and affection pouring out of her eyes.

It was so intense when he could see everything because of his abilities, more than anyone else did.

Ba-Dump!

“I love you, Derrick. Will you listen this selfish wish of mine?”

The first thing Derrick did was take her lips and poured all the emotions she was feeling into it.

‘Ah…’ Beth did not need to hear it from him. She understood it now.

“I love you too, Beth.” The words that echoed in her mind and soul finally left Derrick’s mouth.

“I never intended to have many wives in the first place. I don’t want a flock of women whose names I cannot even remember to be with me to feed my ego or something.” Derrick finally said, “Want to hear what I have decided?”

Beth nodded without worrying about what he might say next. She hugged him tightly and leaned her head on his shoulder.

Screech!

The car came to a halt once it entered the villa and parked itself in the garage.

Derrick scooped Beth in his arms and pulled her out of the car.

“I have been thinking about this too. There are many women in my life that I have come to adore and love in just a matter of days but it all happened because they are important to me.”

Beth was not surprised to hear he loved other women already. She seemed to have guessed it already.

But she would be lying if her heart and mind did not fill with dark thoughts about the vixens who were going to share his affections.

“But I don’t plan to actively look for women to fall for. With so much outstanding women in my life, I don’t think there could anyone out there who could sway my heart.”

Derrick slowly walked inside the villa which was completely controlled by Silly Bot and took her straight to the bed room on the upper floor.

Much to Beth’s surprise, the damage done to the property was already repaired and she could not even tell if it was ever been through that sort of damage.

“So, I a give you your promise without any difficulty. Because in my heart, I too feel the same way.”

Hearing that, Beth looked Derrick in the eyes and showed a relieved smile. “I am very glad that I you walked into my shop that day.”
