“Is there a problem here?” a soft, polite voice interrupted.

A young female saleswoman stepped forward, wearing a modest uniform and a warm, genuine smile.

She looked at Derrick and Cassie without a single trace of judgment in her eyes.

“Welcome to our showroom,” she said kindly, bowing slightly. “Please ignore my colleague.”

“I would be happy to show you around. What kind of vehicle are you looking for?”

Cassie’s sharp edge melted away in an instant, returning to her usual calm, cold composure as if nothing had happened.

The arrogant salesman stood red-faced, grinding his teeth as the woman named Maya guided them down the main floor.

Derrick walked past the rows of glittering hover-cars until his eyes landed on a stunning, dark-metallic sedan.

It had a Deep gray-black matte skin which seemed to shimmer from time to time.

“Would you like to hear about this car?” Maya asked seeing his interest.

“This model features a reinforced titanium-alloy frame,” Seeing Derrick nod, Maya eagerly described.

“It comes with dual antigravity turbines for seamless switching between sky and road driving, custom kinetic shock dampeners, and a cabin lined with genuine high-tier beast leather.”

She lightly touched the edge of the sleek door frame.

“It even includes an integrated energy barrier capable of absorbing heavy combat impacts.”

Derrick looked over the vehicle, genuinely impressed.

He looked at the price tag on the window which read 2,000,000 Social Credits.

“I’ll take this one,” Derrick said cleanly, turning to Maya.

Maya blinked, her jaw dropping slightly. “Y-You want to buy it?”

“Yes,” Derrick replied with a nod. “Start a loan process for it with your showroom’s lowest possible interest rate.”

At this point, with how much he earned monthly, Derrick did not need to worry about such small amount.

But being a businessman did not mean spending money.

It meant, how to make money even while he was spending it.

As if thinking of something he asked.

“Can we get it registered right away and take it with us today?”

“Yes, absolutely!” Maya replied with a bright nod. “Our dealership has a direct line to the transit portal for fast-track processing. I just need your official driver’s license to scan.”

Derrick paused for a split second.

He didn’t have a driver’s license.

Derrick casually tapped his ear, activating his comms link to Silly Bot.

“Silly Bot, handle it,” Derrick signaled silently.

Far away inside the warehouse, Silly Bot’s sub-routines instantly fired up.

The Pseudo AI bypassed three government security checkpoints, slipped into the central transit database, and uploaded a clean, fully verified driver’s license under Derrick’s name.

It didn’t even take Silly Bot sixty seconds.

PING!

A notification flashed on Derrick’s phone.

A valid digital copy of his new driver’s license appeared on his screen.

Derrick showed the display to Maya. “Here you go.”

Maya scanned the digital code with her tablet.

The screen flashed green with an instant verification match.

“Perfect!” Maya said, her voice shaking slightly with excitement as she handed over the key fob. “Now, all that’s left is setting up the payment.”

He tapped his ear, subtly activating his comms link to Silly Bot.

“Silly Bot,” Derrick instructed in a low voice.

“Connect to my bank account. Set up automated monthly payments for this loan using the fund’s dividends, and create a detailed financial trail for me to audit later.”

“Consider it done, Boss!” Silly Bot’s cheerful voice echoed smoothly into his ear.

Maya ran Derrick’s identification through her tablet.

PING!

The terminal screen flashed bright green, instantly approving the 2 million SC transaction with VIP credit clearance.

Maya gasped, her hands trembling as she printed out the keys and final ownership documents.

On a 2 million SC direct sale, her 10 percent commission came out to a staggering 200,000 Social Credits.

Swoosh!

The moment his transaction was approved, the number plate on the car shimmered and changed to [MPP-001].

“Here are your keys, Sir!” Maya said, bowing deeply, her voice filled with gratitude. “Thank you so much for your business!”

Nearby, the arrogant salesman stood completely frozen.

His face turned from crimson to pale white.

A 200,000 SC commission… completely gone.

More money than he earned in an entire year, handed directly to his junior colleague right in front of his eyes.

Veins popped on his forehead as he stared at the glowing green approval notice on Maya’s screen, trembling with pure jealousy, humiliation, and burning rage.

Derrick unlocked the sleek dark sedan with a smooth click of the key fob.

Cassie paused by the open passenger door. She glanced back at the trembling salesman one last time, her eyes cold and sharp as steel.

“Next time,” Cassie said softly, letting her words sink in, “try focusing on selling instead of assuming everyone has as little money as you do.”

The salesman looked like he was about to choke on his own bile.

Cassie slid smoothly into the passenger seat, closing the door behind her.

Derrick smiled, stepped into the driver’s seat, and fired up the engine.

VROOOM! WHOOSH!

The dark sedan hummed smoothly to life, lifted off the marble floor, and glided out of the showroom into the open sky.

The sleek dark sedan glided smoothly through the sky as they made their way back home.

Derrick glanced sideways at Cassie from the driver’s seat.

“I have to admit,” Derrick said, chuckling softly. “I was really impressed by what you did back at the shop.”

He kept his eyes on the skyway ahead, his tone genuine and warm.

“I’m really proud of you, Cassie.”

Cassie shifted in her seat and quickly turned her head toward the side window, hiding her face from him.

“Whatever,” she muttered casually, keeping her voice as flat as ever. “Thanks.”

Derrick didn’t press her, but in the faint reflection of the dark glass window, a soft, subtle smile crept onto her lips.

Minutes later, the sedan descended gracefully into their neighborhood.

Derrick landed the car smoothly and parked it right inside the front driveway.

The deep, quiet hum of the high-tech antigravity engine echoed against the house.

Hearing the strange noise outside, the front door swung open.

Rebecca walked out onto the porch, wiping her hands on an apron.

Her jaw dropped as she stared at the stunning, metallic luxury vehicle sitting right in her yard.

The sleek driver’s door popped open, and Derrick stepped out onto the ground.

He looked up at the shocked woman with a confident smirk.

Spreading his arms dramatically, Derrick said. “Daddy’s Home.”

A smile appeared on Rebecca’s worried face. With the same smile on her face, she walked up to him and….
