Chapter 683 - 682: Flame Will

’So it’s a special Flame Power, not a power of Supreme Yin and Cold! Haha, its properties are strange, but as long as it’s a type of Flame Power, my Origin Divine Fire can absorb it. Thank goodness I didn’t kill him. Otherwise, I would have missed out on such a fine vessel!’

The Flame Domain Divine King’s true will roared with laughter.

With a mere thought.

The Green Flame Incarnation in the Green Flame Area immediately received a new command.

However...

Before it could respond...

Yang Xiao made his move.

With a light tap of his finger,

He touched its body. Instantly, the same power that had suppressed the previous three Flame Incarnations—Yang Xiao’s fourth Talent Power—struck once more.

This time, however,

Yang Xiao deliberately used even greater power and was much less subtle about it.

And so,

The green flame on his body—the flame of Supreme Yin and Cold—surged into the Green Flame Incarnation’s body in a flash.

Then,

The entire Green Flame Incarnation, including the sliver of true will within it, was instantly frozen solid.

CRACK.

It shattered into a pile of Green Crystals.

However,

Unlike before, in addition to the Green Crystals, a mass of green Flame Will appeared this time, flickering continuously.

It also transmitted a message to Yang Xiao.

"Brave and outstanding adventurer, this is your reward for passing the trial. It can be used to temper your Spirit Will, merge into your Divine Soul, and increase your potential, making it easier for you to pass the next trial."

When this message appeared,

Yang Xiao smiled.

In truth,

The moment the Flame Will appeared, he knew exactly what this fellow was plotting.

He just hadn’t expected him to be so impatient.

However, Yang Xiao didn’t refuse.

He stepped forward

And directly took the green Flame Will.

And, without the slightest resistance,

He sent it directly into his Sea of Consciousness.

Sensing that Yang Xiao had sent this wisp of will into his Sea of Consciousness, the Flame Domain Divine King’s true will, which was currently in the Purple Flame Area, immediately broke into a smug laugh.

’What an idiot. He absorbed it into his Sea of Consciousness without even examining it. But these Low-Level lifeforms are always ruled by greed. Their minds are so easily clouded by the promise of an inheritance; this is only natural. I just hope this kid’s aptitude is even better than it seems. It would be perfect if he’s a top-tier ultimate demonic fiend.’

The Flame Domain Divine King roared with laughter.

An ordinary ultimate demonic fiend can typically kill enemies Six Tiers Higher than themselves.

This much was already clear from Yang Xiao passing the first three trials.

Even if he cultivated a Secret Technique, for someone with a cultivation below that of a True God, simply passing through the Yellow Flame Area proved he had the strength to fight opponents Six Tiers Higher.

Especially with that special ability of his.

’If it could be fused with my Origin Divine Fire, it would surely become even more powerful.’

The Flame Domain Divine King mused.

’Even if this boy only has the strength to fight Six Tiers Higher, after I merge with him, I’ll likely gain a constitution capable of fighting opponents Seven Tiers Higher.’

’Likewise, if Yang Xiao could fight Seven, or even Eight or the legendary Nine Tiers Higher...’

’Then maybe I...’

’Fighting and winning against those Seven Tiers Higher makes one a Middle-Level Ultimate Demonic Fiend. Eight Tiers is High Level, and Nine Tiers is top-tier. Even from the Far Ancient Era to the present day, such individuals are incredibly rare. As for fighting beyond Nine Tiers...!’

The Flame Domain Divine King chuckled.

That was a near impossibility. Only a few special Techniques could give rise to such an existence.

For example, the Secret Technique of the Human Emperor Lineage.

The Power of the Emperor cultivated from it could gather the strength of the entire Human Race, allowing one to achieve power Nine Tiers Higher, or even greater.

But even so,

In the entire Human Race, it seemed only beings at the Human Emperor Level possessed such an ability.

Others, even a Human Emperor’s Son or a Saint Prince, could never hope to achieve it.

’As long as this kid can make it to me, his talent must be at least that of a Middle-Level Ultimate Demonic Fiend, capable of fighting Seven Tiers Higher. Add my Origin Power and my nearly complete Dao Attainment Technique to that... Once I cultivate to the Divine King Realm again, I’ll probably reach the Peak of my previous life instantly and step into the ranks of the Supreme Divine Kings with ease! When that time comes, hmph, Old Man Jiumu, I will make you regret everything!’

With an inner roar,

The Flame Domain Divine King began to wait patiently.

After passing through the Green Flame Area, Yang Xiao soon arrived at the Cyan Flame Area.

The flames here were already terrifying.

For anyone not approved by the Flame Domain Divine King, even a Tier Five Divine General would be unlikely to survive here.

Of course, Yang Xiao wasn’t afraid in the slightest.

His Heaven and Earth Origin Flame was a supreme Divine Flame that reigned over all other flames in existence. But leaving that aside, even one of his other abilities, Fire Control or Cold Flame, would have been enough to protect him from the intense heat.

However, now that he had reached the Cyan Flame Area, Yang Xiao had no intention of using his Cold Flame Talent Power again.

After all, at this level,

The Flame Incarnation formed from the Cyan Flame had already reached the terrifying Peak of Tier Three True God.

’Defeating an opponent at this level with my Cold Flame ability would be too shocking. It would probably arouse the fellow’s suspicion.’

Although, judging from his previous behavior, the guy seemed rather dim-witted and might not notice, Yang Xiao didn’t want a moment of carelessness to put him on his guard.

Therefore, Yang Xiao made his battle in the Cyan Flame Area look extremely difficult.

In reality,

His own strength was only comparable to the Peak of Tier Three True God.

He was facing a Cyan Flame Incarnation whose cultivation had climbed to Tier One True God, but whose true combat power was at the Peak of Tier Two True God, infinitely close to that of a Tier Three True God.

All Yang Xiao had to do was hide a bit of his true strength, and the fight became incredibly strenuous.

And so,

The battle dragged on for so long,

The Flame Domain Divine King grew impatient.

He then ordered the Flame Incarnation made of Cyan Flame to weaken itself slightly.

Only then did Yang Xiao suddenly erupt with power and slay it.

Moreover, he used his Celestial Moon technique to do it.

This instantly made the Flame Domain Divine King feel as if he had seen through Yang Xiao’s true capabilities.

’Looks like this little guy has just barely reached the combat power to fight Seven Tiers Higher, and that’s most likely due to his flame’s suppressive effect. Still, that’s not bad at all. When I was first born, it took me a very long time to possess the strength to fight Seven Tiers Higher. But now, as long as I possess this little guy, I can reach that level instantly! I might even go a step further and become a High-Level Ultimate Demonic Fiend, capable of fighting Eight Tiers Higher! At that point, won’t this world be mine for the taking?’

The Flame Domain Divine King was very satisfied.

With him satisfied,

Yang Xiao’s next trial in the Blue Flame Area became even easier.

Furthermore, in each of these three trials, he received a wisp of a different Flame Will.

And Yang Xiao, playing his part perfectly,

Directly merged the Green, Cyan, and Blue Flame Wills into his Sea of Consciousness, appearing completely defenseless.

This made the Flame Domain Divine King even more delighted.

’He’s here! He’s here! The boy has finally arrived!’

Seeing Yang Xiao appear before him, he could barely contain his excitement and grew incredibly impatient.

In a flash,

He appeared before Yang Xiao.
