The sky over the Red Spirit Flower Valley suddenly brightened.

A dazzling red bolt of lightning burst from the oppressive dark clouds, splitting open the deathly still sky of Hundred Flowers Island.

The white mist instantly parted, clearing a path. The red thunderbolt landed squarely on the withered body nestled in the Red Spirit Flower petals, boring into the dim ball of light.

BOOM!

A clap of thunder echoed through the valley.

The purple threads on Li Luo began to glow faintly, tiny red sparks of electricity darting back and forth along them. Xiaozhi immediately released its hold and shot toward the Block in the air.

The purple threads were still crackling with lightning. The Block couldn’t dodge in time and was bound tightly by the electrified strands.

Li Luo stared at the sky in shock, then looked back at the withered, humanoid figure lying in the petals.

The ball of light was brighter than ever before, and a barely visible current wrapped around the withered body.

DRIP...

A drop of rain landed on Li Luo’s face. Freed from the threads’ binding, her flushed face was exceptionally sensitive. The cold rainwater trickled down her skin, seeping deep into her heart.

"It’s raining..."

Li Luo’s eyes widened as she watched the raindrops fall.

Cold rain poured down into the valley. All the Red Spirit Flowers cheered joyfully, swaying their massive bodies.

Raindrops seeped into the withered body at the center of the flower cluster. The rigid form actually began to tremble slowly.

"What’s a Purple Block?" some of the slower Red Spirit Flowers asked.

"Look! The Purple Block is entwined with the lightning of life! It’s the thunder that can awaken all things! The human emperor tossed the Purple cape into the air, letting this thunder forever cover the Red Spirit Flower Valley and bring endless life! The Purple Block will carry the lightning to slice through the gloom, letting the rain fall and seep into every inch of the Red Spirit Flower Valley’s soil."

"I don’t get it. You talked for too long. Does this mean I should be praising it too?" Most of the Red Spirit Flowers were still confused. When they saw other flowers swaying in the wind, they swayed too. When they saw other flowers cheering joyfully, they cheered joyfully too...

Before long, the valley was filled with cries of praise.

Li Luo was still completely bewildered. She stood dazedly in the cold rain, looking toward the Block.

"What about him?" Li Luo asked cautiously.

"That senior... he saved me, and then he disappeared..." the withered body said blankly, the ball of light flickering nonstop. "Have you seen him?"

"No." Li Luo shook her head. She didn’t want to expose the Block’s identity.

"He’s a healer too?" Li Luo asked, a little puzzled.

"Of course. Only healers can enter the Healing Space. And to be able to enter someone else’s space... he must be an incredibly powerful senior," the withered body said with great certainty.

"My own healing was incomplete, so I was trapped in my Healing Space. My power was constantly being siphoned away, depleting me without end. I couldn’t wake up..."
