The movie theater was clearly getting more crowded.

A short line had already formed. When it was Lin Zhengran and Jiang Xueli’s turn, the young woman checking tickets stared blankly at the two familiar faces in front of her.

Lin Zhengran handed her the tickets.

A smile unconsciously spread across her face. "You two look a little familiar. Want to participate in our event? If you prove you’re a couple by touching noses, we can give you a large bucket of popcorn."

The ticket taker handed them a bucket of popcorn that was as tall as her forearm. "Here, this bucket of couple’s popcorn is for you. I hope you two will have a sweet life together and never be apart."

Lin Zhengran reached for it, but Jiang Xueli snatched it first. She examined the portion size and remarked to Lin Zhengran, "Wow, it’s a pretty big bucket! Totally worth it."

The couples waiting in line behind them saw the huge bucket of popcorn and were all itching to try it themselves. Even though they were shy, it was a freebie they couldn’t pass up.

This was their second time in the theater, so Jiang Xueli wasn’t as awkward.

’As long as Lin Zhengran is holding my hand, I’ll be fine. I know I can’t go wrong following this big dummy.’

They found their seats and sat down. This time, Jiang Xueli didn’t wait for him; she skillfully lifted the armrest between them and placed the popcorn in the middle.

They couldn’t have the whole theater to themselves this time, and there were people on both sides, but that didn’t dampen their good mood for the movie.

"I was supposed to treat you, but you ended up paying again," she said, feeling a little guilty.

Lin Zhengran looked at the screen. "It doesn’t matter who pays. Besides, even you belong to me, so there’s no difference."
