Li Zhi, on the other hand, was slightly stunned when she heard she and Shen Yuan were in the same exam hall.

Then, the beautiful girl’s lips curved upward.

Once he realized what was going on, the boy froze for a second. Then, an irrepressible smile crept onto his lips and quickly spread.

He ducked his head down again, his shoulders giving a slight, almost imperceptible tremble, as if he were trying to hide his laughter.

But there was no way such a small movement could escape the sharp eyes of Ah Jie, who was glaring at him like a hawk!

“Shen Yuan! You’re still laughing?! You beast, you’re actually laughing! Busted, aren’t you?!”

“You’re laughing so hard your shoulders are shaking! I hit the nail on the head, didn’t I? There’s definitely a conspiracy behind this! You sneaky bastard, confess!”

The class-wide laughter came to an abrupt halt. Countless gazes, like spotlights, swiveled to focus on Shen Yuan with a collective SWISH.

Under the weight of countless gazes and Ah Jie’s grief-stricken accusations, Shen Yuan slowly lifted his bowed head.

The embarrassment or shame everyone expected never appeared.

Shen Yuan turned his head to look at Ah Jie, pointing a finger at him.

The smile was like a frozen river cracking wide open under the spring sun. It started at the corners of his mouth, spreading wantonly upward until it completely took over his face.

Shen Yuan deftly unzipped his backpack and shoved a pile of books inside. Then he picked up his book bin and grabbed two file boxes overflowing with test papers.

“Let me take some.”
