As the shining light exploded, the blinding light melted the shadows as if they were made out of paper.

As Stevens’ body slowly dissolved, he watched Franclin stagger back, still blinded, but even his shadow seemed to have been affected by the attack, as it simply stayed behind on the ground, not following its owner.

With Steven finally disappearing completely, Franklin laughed so hard you could hear it even outside. *You were crazy, man, dying for something like this."

As it’s laughter got interrupted by a single step coming from behind. "Dead? Who said anything about dying?" Stevens’ relaxed voice spoke out behind him.

As Franclin turned around, his gaze was a mix of fear and confusion as he could barely speak. "I saw you just dissolve into nothingness." He didn’t seem to believe what was standing in front of him.

Steven took a step closer, watching Franklin stumble away. "You used shadow summons, so I thought it would be only fair if I used some summons myself.

As he took another step closer, Franklin’s body twitched around desperately, searching for an escape.*

But Steven wouldn’t allow that; instead, he stepped hard on Franklin’s knee, hearing something crack below the pressure.

As he let out a pained scream, Steven could only smile. "You’re a bright you; you can’t cast any powerful magic and..." But he was interrupted by another kick from Steven.

"You really think I was going all out against this shadow at the villa? How disappointing. Do you really think I would even try in the presence of the student?"

As he slowly grabbed the head of the still screaming Franclin, he said, "But I got to thank you for bringing me into a secluded area." As he smashed his head down against the floor, he could hear the tiles below the head splinter apart.

"Mercy, mercy, please." His pained cries filled his ears, making Steven stop for just a moment to stare at this disgusting person.

As Franclin pulled out the rusty knife from his pocket, stabbing towards Steven, who didn’t even try to avoid the attack.

The knife was only able to connect to his barrier, shattering into thousands of silver pieces on impact.

Steven just grabbed the extended arm, bringing it down to his knee until it deformed itself to an unnatural angle.

But no more sounds were coming out of Franklin’s lungs, as if his body had already given up, but Steven had just been starting, and he wasn’t going to let him die easily.

Pulling him by his hair, Steven started moving after all; he still got some people to meet. He dragged the unconscious Franclins over the floor with him.

As he left through the hole he came from, the moon had already risen to the top of the sky. As he walked through the empty streets, which would be filled with activity tomorrow again after this terror was finally gone, he felt a sense of relief.

Dragging him through the final path where he had first talked to June after her embarrassing entrance.

As a giant door slowly drew closer, signalling he had reached his target, behind it would the lack of full protection of school end.

But Steven wasn’t worried at all as he stepped through a group of people already waiting on the other side hidden behind masks.

As a male voice spoke to him. "Mr. Bright, didn’t I write you to come alone, so who might this friend of yours be?" The voice was flat but full of judgement against him.

Throwing francs at the masked man’s legs, "This is the killer who brought terror to this school in the last few days."

As the man in front of him signaled his servants to inspect the man. "Interesting, he had been one of our targets too, but we just couldn’t catch him yet."

Steven stares at him, remaining quiet. "I can’t deny you did a good job with this, but do you really think that would be enough to join us?"

As Steven could only laugh at him, "Join you? Not exactly; after all, you were the ones inviting me, so why don’t we skip this shit talk and do some business?"

As the firm stance of the man in front of him finally shifted to more relaxed, "I knew you would be a great addition to us." As he held out his hand to greet Steven.

Who happily accepted it, as both tried to demonstrate some of their power with a strong handshake; the masked man had to surrender.

"We never had a person this physically strong in the first years; you bright ones truly are amazing." The man spoke, pulling his hand back.

As they got ready to continue, the man stopped in his tracks, staring down at the unconscious Franklin, and with a powerful pull at his arm, picked him up.

"You know this man killed multiple of our agents here." "As he landed a heavy punch against the ribs of the unconscious man.

Slowly turning towards Steven again, he held him as if he were waiting for something.

Steven stepped closer, staring at Franklin, who seemed to slowly awaken from the pain of the punch, his eyes filled with fear.

"Who are you guys? Let me go!" As he tried to free himself to no avail. Steven only walked closer, raising his hand.

And with a smooth motion he brought it down on him, beheading him with one strike.

As the head fell to the ground,

Steven didn’t feel anything.

He had killed murderers before.

And killed far more innocent soldiers than this monster.

And he wasn’t going to stop now.
