Chapter 855 - 854: The Story Begins

The portrait being totally inaccurate isn’t even the most outrageous thing; the most outrageous thing is that those guards used this drawing to find Song Weili.

Song Weili was on the verge of breaking down.

"...Are you guys polite!? You found me based on this drawing?!"

Li Yang was already laughing to the point of squatting down: "Hahahahahahaha! I’m dying of laughter! So Song Weili, this is what you look like, hahahaha!"

Guan Yu comforted him: "Don’t be mad, don’t be mad, maybe they really have a conspiracy. Using this unrecognizable portrait to find someone, maybe they genuinely don’t want you to return, and instead want to get rid of you out here! So, this portrait is more than just a picture; it’s a message of life and death!"

Song Weili: "It’s not supposed to be this ugly!"

[Hahahahaha I knew it!]

[The production team must have hired the same artist, right? It’s very similar to the pilot episode]

[Does this skill really require a specialized artist?! Perhaps it’s the director’s handiwork]

[Song Weili: Are you guys polite?! I’m just a newcomer here! I’m in a boy band!]

[Mu Qiu: Devoted to promoting tea culture]

[Good tea, at least pre-Qingming Longjing tea]

[Brother Cheng in this episode doesn’t quite know how to react, after thinking it through, shopping seems easier]

[Yangyang, you’re just a goofball here hahaha xswl]

[Today I must get information about this artist, I want to commission them/dog head]

[This episode isn’t sweet, money-back guarantee, you’ll come in vertical and leave lying down, dream of having diabetes]

[Watching them eat noodles made me hungry, so I ordered some noodles too]

[I also want Brother Cheng to roll noodles for me]

[So my Brother Cheng is a dad-type boyfriend, calm and gentle, and loves shopping]

[I just want to know what’s up with Huai? Is he still hiding in a black room snacking? He could have played two rounds of games by now]

[These two NPC sisters are so beautiful! I want to know who they are]

[This episode is for them to experience ancient life? Really going all out, real horse, real street stall, real noodle eating]

[Song Weili fans changing their name to ’Polite’, when he asks if you’re polite, just say yes]

[Hahahahahahahaha are you guys polite]

Before Song Weili could complain more, the guards took him away.

Soon after, other guards arrived, leading a horse, kneeling and bowing in front of Cheng Zhirang: "Your Highness, the wedding procession is ready, just awaiting your mount!"

Guan Yu exclaimed wow, stood up: "The story begins now."

Cheng Zhirang squeezed Mu Qiu’s hand, stood by the horse, glanced around, and mounted amid the excited cheers of the crowd.

His lean waist, upright back, and the hem of his black garment spread slightly on the horse, some could tell just from his back, radiating charisma.

Shu Ran explained: "It’s said that Brother Cheng specifically learned horse riding when filming period dramas."

Cheng Zhirang looked down at them from horseback: "All three stories should begin now, I will go ahead, hurry up."

With that, he lightly urged the horse forward.

Mu Qiu stacked a few bowls together and stood up: "Let’s go, we need to get moving."

...

The sound of drums and cheering has passed, and the small attic has returned to silence.

The blazing sun has wilted the flowers and grass in the shade, forlornly lying on the ground, and even the chirping of insects and birds is feeble.

It seems that the afternoon sun has suppressed everything, forcing a stillness onto an environment that shouldn’t be so calm.

It was at this moment that the door to the room was pushed open with a creak, making the person inside instinctively shiver.

There stands a figure silhouetted in the light, stepping slowly forward until reaching the tightly shut window.

"Why aren’t you eating?"

A distant voice resounded.

The girl sitting by the window lowered her gaze and did not respond, nor did she look at him, her vacant eyes fixed on the window paper, lost in thought.

The man stood for a while, seeing she had no intention of moving, laughed coldly, with indifference: "Then I’ll have to feed you?"

As he spoke, he dragged a chair over, sat next to her, holding the porcelain bowl, spooning some food to feed her.

But her lips remained tightly shut, ignoring his gestures of goodwill.

The spoon rested against her lips, and after a while of stalemate, the man suddenly smashed the bowl to the ground with a bang, startling Mu Qiu.

Damn, that move came unexpectedly, fright making her shudder with closed eyes.

After the tremor, she opened her eyes, and Cheng Zhirang leaned in suddenly, pinching her chin, forcing her mouth open, his thumb pressing into her lip, even poking her tongue tip, the edges of her lips turning pale from pressure.

A very suggestive forceful posture.

Mu Qiu was forced to raise her chin; to avoid drooling in this position, she could only keep swallowing.

"If you don’t want to eat, then just stay hungry like this."

He leaned in close to speak, nearly pressing against her, if not for the inappropriate dialogue, this posture would look more like lovers flirting.

This was her first time acting with Cheng Zhirang fully immersed in character, and the force with which he slammed the bowl and pressed her lips truly gave her goosebumps.

Mu Qiu kept her hands still, trying to relax, tilting her head in response to his violent motion, her gaze unwavering as she looked at him.

Apparently, this gaze seemed to agitate a psychopath; the hand holding her chin suddenly flung her, sending her chair and all to the floor.

Fortunately, he controlled his strength, so it didn’t hurt.

Cheng Zhirang took an unrestrained step forward but abruptly halted, standing still, clenching his fists, his face remaining cold.

"Get up."

Mu Qiu slowly stood up but did not approach him, instead stiffly retreating two steps.

For a psychopath, any normal actions could incite them, thus this psychopath lost it again.

Cheng Zhirang stepped forward aggressively, grabbing her neck and slamming her against the wall, quickly cushioning her back with his hand then immediately withdrawing it. Hands gripping her neck moved upward, forcing her to tilt her head, her breathing clearly labored.

"Why are you avoiding?! Why must you avoid me?!"

Mu Qiu now had to act, grabbing his arms with both hands, eyes closed, simulating breathlessness while also kicking.

But it was subdued quickly, black clothes pressed against white, Cheng Zhirang leaned in, lowering his head to kiss her by her neck.

"You never avoided me in the past, you were always so happy to see me. Why not now? Speak, why not now?!"

"Because it’s disgusting."

She rasped with sarcasm, promptly leading to her mouth being covered.

Burning kisses landed on her neck side, ear, and cheek, his voice tinged with panic.

"Don’t say it, don’t say it!"

She struggled desperately, her hair and clothes disheveled, tears welling in her eyes, focusing on the extended camera at her eye level.

Thinking internally—No wonder he was psychotic, she wouldn’t be writing any ’falling in love with a psycho’ plots in the future, it was slightly intimidating.
