Chapter 1083: I’ve…Arrived!
Chapter 1083: I’ve…Arrived!
Gannala was silent. Standing beside her all alone, in a position about to clap was Asaeya, also silent. Bora Tusk too only grinned in response, followed by a lick of his lips.
State of Harmony—Future Sight!
Orakha intended to figure out the truth and had used Future Sight, barely beginning to gather information. As his Prana levels began to dip in response to the usage of Future Sight, Bora Tusk casually ripped out the Major Treasure of Arsenal from his body and tossed it towards Orakha.
“Phew!” Ruvva hurriedly used a puppet of herself to fuse with the Major Treasure, succeeding before the latter unleashed a pillar of light. She then glared at Bora Tusk, “That was dangerous.”
“If I were even a moment slower, this place would have been advertised to everyone. Is that what you wanted?”
“No,” Bora Tusk shook his head, “However, I know for a fact you’re fast enough. And he,”
Bora Tusk pointed at Orakha, “He’s even faster.”
“If even with such speed-based prowess, you failed to catch a Minor Treasure,” His lips curled up in ridicule. He was about to say something, but controlled himself and merely shook his head in disgust.
“Well, now that we’ve completed the trade,” Gannala clapped her hands and smiled chirpily, her eyes curling up into adorable crescent moons, “We’ll meet later, Uncle Orakha.”
“…Alright,” Knowing Gannala wanted him to leave immediately, Orakha stopped his Future Sight. He let out a mild sigh and spoke, “I hope you know what you’re doing.”
“You…” He eyed Gannala wryly, “You don’t have enough time to complete your plans, right?”
“I don’t,” Gannala shook her head, “But it’s alright. Plans have to keep up with the changes. It’s what has been drilled into me since young.”
“And all that I can ever do.” She murmured in sadness, her eyes growing moist for a moment. She then clapped once and grew brisk, staring brightly at Orakha. “I cannot reach my theoretical best, but I have managed to accumulate just enough to reach the starting position of my ideal, final form.”
“All that is required past that is training.” She grinned and waved her hand, urging Orakha to leave, “There’s less than a day left. I still have things to finalise before that.”
“Alright, I won’t take up any more of your time.” Orakha nodded and moved the platform carrying Ruvva closer to him. Before leaving, Orakha stared at Gannala once, “I pray you succeed.”
“Pray? For someone with Future Sight?” Gannala waved her hand, “Tell me something worthwhile, Uncle.”
“You will succeed.” Orakha said seriously and then nodded at Asaeya, “Ensure she doesn’t lose sight of herself.”
“I hope to do so,” Asaeya responded.
“Nothing for me?” Bora Tusk asked upon seeing Orakha turn around to leave.
“We…will talk later,” Orakha said and vanished. The day he appeared on Sumatra, he died. And when he revived, the one he communicated with the most was the Mammoth Chief Raaha.
And after Ruvva was born, when she was kept captive in Gannala’s stomach, Orakha visited a few times, having short, curt interactions with Bora Tusk.
He wanted nothing to do with this madman whose insanity seemed to have only matured over time. With that, Orakha turned into a golden flash and flew across the sky, crossing a vast distance in a matter of hours to arrive in the skies above Grehha’s Dungeon.
’A distance that would have taken the Mammoth Clan years to traverse is mere hours to the current me.’ Orakha let out a mild sigh upon arriving at a stop. He then frowned upon noticing Grehha’s Dungeon was…being raided.
“What the…?” Ruvva stuttered, “Forest Boars? How are they all the way here?”
“Uncle, we must reinforce…” She had just turned around to speak to Orakha when Ruvva noticed that the latter seemed pale all of a sudden. Her eyes widened in shock to see his body was…trembling.
’Fright?’ She stretched her hand towards Orakha and lightly brushed against the latter’s shoulder, when suddenly, Orakha screamed in a fluster.
“AAAHHH!” Panting haphazardly, Orakha seemed to be looking around the region in panic, so much so that he subconsciously raised his altitude to the maximum. This wasn’t out of being on guard like against Gannala. No, this was brought about by fear.
Absolute Fear!
“Grehha!” Veins popped all over his neck as Orakha infused Prana into his throat and bellowed, creating a sonic boom powerful enough to crack the ground in the surroundings. All the Forest Boars raiding the dungeon too stopped upon sensing the powerful, rageful presence oozing out of him, “WHAT! THE! FUCK! DID! YOU! DO?”
In response, a bone mist geyser spewed out of the ground and transformed into a pillar, followed by a helical flight of stairs that coiled around it. As it formed, standing at the forefront of the flight of stairs was a muscled individual with ivory hair.
It was Grehha, his expression pretty bright for a dying man. He lifted his head and stared at Orakha in confusion, “How come you’re…”
His eyes then fell upon Ruvva as he asked, “Did you succeed in treating him?”
“Does that mean?” Hope lit up in his eyes for a moment, “Can you treat me too?”
“Forget that!” Orakha interrupted and shouted, “You! And Inala! What have you done?”
“Nothing?” Grehha tilted his head, “One is a dying man and the other has been dead for a while now.”
“You…damn…idiot!” Orakha gritted his teeth in anger, intending to hit Grehha in response. However, all of a sudden, he felt his heartbeat slow down.
State of Harmony—Future Sight!
Even if he didn’t want to, he felt something subtle, but something terrifying was happening to the lands, or maybe the entire Continent itself.
Whether it was Grehha, Ruvva, or even the raiding Forest Boars, none were able to understand the source of Orakha’s outburst.
“Whatever it is, we can talk it out.” Grehha said, “The best solution to everything is a heartfelt conversation.”
But Orakha wasn’t listening. His eyes darted around the place in paranoia, his figure a golden blur to the eyes of others as he was twisting and turning nonstop in the air.
Whatever he could see, hear, smell, taste, and feel, he tried to maximise, all in an effort to figure out exactly what the cause of the fear was in the information drawn out from Future Sight.
Bang!
Suddenly, he applied pressure to the Rirenal Spirit Weapon containing the Parute Viper and crushed it with such force that it turned into plasma for a moment. The corpse fully vaporised, not even leaving behind any embers.
“What…are you doing, Uncle?” Ruvva asked, only to see Orakha flash right before her face, grab her, and state in a fluster.
“You have the Minor Treasure of Mystic Human Stamp, right?” Orakha stated in a hurry upon seeing Ruvva nod, “Then, use it on yourself.”
“Erase all information related to the Parute Viper from yourself. Ensure to do it in such a way you’ll never remember it again, no matter how far into the future it is.” He grabbed Ruvva by the shoulder and shook her violently, “Do it, NOW!”
“Wait, wait, why?” Ruvva asked, only to be shaken even more fiercely by Orakha. She wanted to defy, but upon seeing that Orakha truly seemed extremely disturbed, she relented, ’He’s seeing something through Future Sight!’
A few seconds later, she wiped all her memories related to the Parute Viper, from the moment she arrived at the Ennoudu Plains. To be absolutely safe, she wiped clean the entirety of her memory related to the Ennoudu Plains and until the present.
Ruvva stared blankly at Orakha, failing to understand what was happening anymore. A few seconds later, she understood, ’Oh, I seemed to have erased my memories. I wonder why?’
“You, damn idiot!” Orakha stared at Grehha next to ask, “Those two kids…send them away.”
“What?” Grehha was shocked by the statement, “How…do you know…wait, more than that, what do you mean by…”
“Fucking LISTEN! Please!” Orakha shouted and slapped Ruvva on the back, commanding the latter, “You! Take care of your sisters! Bring them somewhere safe. Anywhere but the Brimgan Empire would do.”
“But,” Ruvva wasn’t even given any time to refute, as a Spirit Weapon grabbed her, turned into a golden flash, drilled straight through Grehha’s Dungeon, and arrived at the blood sea at the very bottom.
Grehha was seated on a chair there, startled by Ruvva’s appearance alongside the Rirenal Spirit Weapon. Powerful presences at the peak of the Gold Grade burst out of the blood sea in response to the intruder.
However, Orakha’s voice reverberated, containing a formless authority that inhibited them from taking action, “Grehha!”
“FINE!” Grehha groaned and floated a bone sphere partially resembling a stomach towards Ruvva. A few adjustments later, a structure resembling a Storage Lantern covered its top.
It gradually floated towards Ruvva, “I’ve placed the majority of my reserve of Armoury in it. Only Armoury can manage to even carry it. A living being’s psychokinesis isn’t powerful enough to even budge it.”
“What…is this?” Ruvva stared at the piece of bone that felt familiar to her. And then, Grehha whispered its identity to her, causing her eyes to widen in shock.
Spirit Weapon—Resha!
“I’ve already placed everything of value inside it. The moment my Mystic Path started to pulse, I began transporting everything of value into it.” As he spoke, the bone Spirit Weapon floated towards Ruvva, “I’ve modified it to follow your Prana signature. You’re now the only one who can control it.”
The moment Ruvva seeped her Prana into it, Grehha waved his hands a few more times, “Now, I too cannot control it.”
“Go now, Ruvva.” He said and pointed at a tunnel that trailed behind him, “Use this path to flee this place.”
“You…” Ruvva rushed past Grehha and stopped moments before entering the tunnel, turning around to stare at Grehha, “You know what is happening, right?”
“The reason Uncle Orakha is so paranoid.”
“I’ve come to realise now.” Grehha smiled wryly, “You can call it karma, I guess.”
“We fucked around with cruelty, and now, the consequences have arrived.” Grehha waved his hand as bone mist covered Ruvva and pushed her into the tunnel, following which it began to seal the tunnel.
Ruvva used the Skill of Prana Flash to flee deeper into the tunnel, watching the tunnel section she crossed instantly turn into a mass of solid bone.
“Ha…haha,” Grehha smiled wryly upon sensing Orakha standing behind him, “I’ve sent her away.”
“Mind telling me what you have done now?” Gritting his teeth, Orakha glared at Grehha with the intent to kill.
However, in absolute contrast, Grehha slumped on the floor and waved his limbs relaxedly, before kicking the air in joy, “It’s…done!”
“Congratulations!” He got up and hugged Orakha, “All these changes only imply one thing.”
“We’ve succeeded…the Mystic Seven succeeded…” He roared, with tears streaming down his eyes, “The Celestial Boar has disappeared from Sumatra!”
Rumble!
Suddenly, every cell in his being triggered into a state of fright or flight mode as Orakha felt his body stiffen up, “S-S-Something entering my Spirit Weapon range, and it’s…FAST! No, it’s teleporting?”
“Haha,” Grehha smiled wryly in response and brought his hands together in respect, making peace with himself. Ignoring a panicking Orakha, he clasped his hands, rubbed them, blew into them once, and brushed his palms over his face.
“I’ve lived a life of contentment.” Having made peace with himself, ready to embrace death, he opened his eyes, for now, death was staring down at him.
Orakha was at a corner, sticking to a wall like a house lizard, having used all his power to mask his presence to the absolute level. He didn’t even make eye contact with Grehha or his general vicinity. Not to mention using his powers, he didn’t even breathe, relying on his Prana to keep his lungs functional.
Slowly, like a lizard, he moved his limbs, so slow to be noticed by human eyes. But steadily, he was crawling towards the hole he had bored down into Grehha’s Dungeon.
As for Grehha, his expression was frozen as he stared at something that briefly resembled a Parute Tree, but had flashing eyes that were rapidly dying out moments after forming.
Standing a mere metre from Grehha, barely reaching 120 centimetres in height, the entity, swirling about with root tendrils for hair, asked, “I’ve…arrived.”
“Twenty-One Years, Nine Months, Seventeen Days, Three Hours, Forty-One Minutes, and Fifty Seconds of torture later,” The entity uttered softly, its voice cracking in sadness, “I’ve…arrived.”
