I Write Novels in a Zerg Prison
Chapter 57: Male School Heartthrob x Military Academy Student (18): Marrying Iso and Having Their Little Family
The readers in the review section had already become speechless.
[He still hasn't realized it? Lord Hill already confessed!]
[That's Lord Hill's confession! Listen carefully, damn it! (Angry) What are you thinking about in that head of yours?!]
[The moment Lord Hill mentioned marriage, you already started arranging positions for attendants, huh? Oh, and you still want to be the Female Lord too. Exactly like Claire.]
[Come, let's appreciate Iso's famous lines: "He lost everything." "His heart sank into the abyss." "He missed it forever." "The pain and despair of heaven collapsing." "His soul being torn apart and shattered."]
[Fine, I admit he's suffering, and An-shen's writing really makes you empathize, but I've developed an illness where I start laughing whenever I see Iso suffering.]
[Here comes Brother Lost-Everything again? (Eye roll)]
[Last time he even said he had nothing with Lord Hill, that they just happened to have a hatchling together. (Eye roll +1)]
[The hatchling's here, the male Zerg's already in his mouth, and now he's talking with such confidence after eating his fill.]
[Far beyond Claire.]
[He's really good at showing off.]
[Lord Hill likes small families the most. He's terrified of this kind of thing. Iso, stop making things up! At this rate you'll lose your Male Lord! (Exasperated)]
The female Zerg readers suddenly remembered that point and immediately broke down again.
[Damn it! Why does Iso get all the good things?]
Lord Hill was a male Zerg who liked small family life.
In other words, he probably wouldn't take attendants.
He would only have Iso.
Just imagining that this female Zerg who kept saying he had "lost everything" might eventually become the only female Zerg of a high-ranking male Zerg lord was enough to make anyone lose their mind.
Given the Zerg gender ratio, such family structures were rare, but not nonexistent.
Some existed because the Female Lord was too powerful, holding overwhelming authority, while the male Zerg himself lacked any foundation. Marrying such a female Zerg was almost equivalent to marrying into the family, and taking attendants would be heavily restricted.
Others were due to the male Zerg's own personality. They simply disliked interacting with others. Even getting them to marry one female Zerg required the Male Zerg Association and Matching Center to repeatedly persuade them until they finally brought one home just to appease them.
Lord Hill belonged more to the latter category, though not entirely.
He truly disliked interacting with strangers.
But choosing Iso was entirely because he wanted to.
He liked Iso.
[That lucky bastard Iso!]
[He climbed up through the hatchling, that's all! (Angry)]
[Exactly! The only thing separating me and Lord Hill from marriage is a hatchling!]
An-shen's novels really were wonderful for dreaming.
His previous novel made readers dream about being genetically matched with a high-ranking male Zerg lord.
This one made them dream that a hatchling from the future suddenly appeared, allowing them to meet their future Male Lord ahead of time, their fates becoming intertwined because of the child.
Iso was exactly what they dreamed of becoming.
He was only one step away from success. His Male Lord had already decided to marry him.
And what was he doing?
Inventing a "Female Lord" out of thin air!
The female Zerg readers wished they could jump into the story and take his place.
...
【Hill raised his hands to his head and painstakingly put himself back together.
Taking a deep breath, he looked up at Iso.
"Iso, there's something I absolutely have to explain clearly."
"Mm."
Iso lowered his eyes, waiting for the male Zerg's lecture.
Male Zergs always set rules for female Zergs before marriage.
Usually, the Female Lord handled these things.
But Lord Hill wasn't married yet, and he was personally explaining the rules.
Hill said,
"What I want is a small family life. That means only the Male Lord, the Female Lord, and the hatchlings. Can you understand?"
Iso's eyes widened instantly.
His lips trembled.
"You mean... I won't have a title?"
Hill: "...?"
Hill became so angry that he shoved him back into the chair and bent down to kiss him.
This time, the kiss landed directly on Iso's lips.
It was as though he was trying to prove something, while also venting some of his emotions.
His fingers gripped Iso's collar so tightly that his fingertips turned white.
Iso neither dodged nor avoided.
After a moment of surprise, he welcomed him in and clumsily responded.
Awkward, but sincere.
After the kiss, Hill pulled back slightly and steadied his uneven breathing.
Then he saw Iso gazing at him with shining eyes as he softly said,
"Even if you don't give me a title, I'm willing to stay with you."
Hill: "..."
The kiss had been wasted.
"I'm marrying you! We're getting married!"
Hill emphasized angrily.
When had he ever said he wouldn't give Iso a title?
What kind of scumbag did Iso think he was?
Iso stared in shock.
"T-Then... what about the one you love?"
Hill stared at him.
"It's you."
"You're the one I love."
Earlier, just saying "like" had made Hill blush and avoid looking at Iso.
But now he had been stimulated enough that he could calmly say those words while looking directly into Iso's eyes.
There wasn't the slightest romantic atmosphere.
Hill thought blankly with dead fish eyes.
"Lord Hill? Y-you're marrying... me?"
Iso finally connected everything together.
The one Lord Hill liked was him.
The one Lord Hill wanted to marry was him.
The only Female Lord he wanted was him...
The overturned heavens and earth righted themselves in an instant.
But Iso felt dizzy, as though he wasn't in reality.
He raised a hand, wanting to touch the male Zerg before him who seemed too beautiful to be real.
Yet he timidly stopped halfway and looked at him uneasily.
Hill saw moonlit tides surging within his eyes.
Although there had been some accidents and some misunderstandings, Iso loved him.
His emotions moved entirely because of him, like the tides drawn by celestial bodies.
And his eyes held only him.
Hill reached out and touched the hand Iso had stretched out.
Their fingers slowly intertwined.
As though their hearts had become connected as well.
"Yes, I'm marrying you. But I only want a small family with us and the hatchlings. Can you accept that? Are you willing?"
Hill asked softly, as though reciting wedding vows.
Iso nodded without thinking.
"I'm willing."
No matter what Hill asked of him, he would agree.
Only afterward did he truly process what Lord Hill had said.
And became confused.
Were these really the male Zerg's conditions?
He had finished talking about the benefits.
Where were the disadvantages?
Noticing his confusion, Hill crossed his arms and seriously began emphasizing his rules.
"You're not allowed to casually bring Zergs home!"
"Especially your future adjutants, comrades, bodyguards, subordinates, coworkers..."
Hill counted them one by one on his fingers.
Eventually he ran out of fingers and started counting on Iso's hand instead.
Remembering that Iso was still a student, he quickly added,
"Classmates and roommates are forbidden too!"
"...Yes."
Iso obediently answered.
Watching the male Zerg play with his pale fingers, his confusion only deepened.
At first glance, these requirements seemed to mean he couldn't invite acquaintances over as guests.
But upon closer thought, that wasn't right.
Without a male Zerg's permission, female Zergs wouldn't do something so troublesome to begin with.
And Lord Hill looked far too serious.
Combining it with his previous words, Iso suddenly understood.
€€€€ Lord Hill didn't want him taking attendants.
Once he understood everything, Iso let out a huge sigh of relief.
Of course he would never do something so inappropriate and displeasing to Lord Hill.
"Please rest assured, Lord. I will faithfully perform my duties, I will..."
While making his promise, a thought suddenly appeared.
Lord Hill wanted a small family.
Only a Female Lord, no attendants...
Lord Hill would only have one female Zerg.
There would never be unrelated female Zergs in their home.
Only Lord Hill.
Him.
Isidore.
And perhaps the hatchlings they would have in the future.
Only their family.
Hill frowned at the wording in Iso's promise and was just becoming unhappy when the female Zerg suddenly stopped, staring blankly at him.
So he pressed,
"You will what?"
"I will..."
Iso stared dazedly at the beautiful male Zerg crossing his arms in front of him and answered honestly,
"I will love you."
Hill froze.
Just moments ago, he had been lamenting that neither his confession nor proposal had happened in the right atmosphere.
At first, he had been immersed in sweetness and embarrassment all by himself while Iso had remained completely detached.
Later, when Iso's emotions finally rose, his own excitement had cooled.
This wasn't the romantic atmosphere Hill had imagined.
He had some regrets.
But now—
At the moment Iso said those words—
All his negative emotions receded like the tide.
His body felt light.
Warm.
Nothing else mattered.
He only wanted to be with his female Zerg.
The corners of his lips unconsciously lifted.
Drawn by something, Hill leaned closer.
Their gazes met.
Their breaths intertwined.
The first touch landed on the female Zerg's chin.
Then the corner of his mouth.
And finally his lips.
As the kiss deepened, Hill wrapped his arms around Iso's neck.
At last, Iso's hands settled against his back and tightly embraced him.
Hill's entire weight rested on Iso.
Crack€€€€
The painting chair specially designed for male Zergs failed to withstand the weight of two Zergs.
With a loud crack, it collapsed.
Thanks to the female Zerg's terrifying reflexes and core strength, Iso instantly steadied himself and caught the male Zerg in his arms.
Hill didn't fall to the floor.
He fell into the female Zerg's embrace.
Warm and soft.
Surrounded from every direction.
Almost drowning him.
"Lord, I'm terribly sorry..."
Iso was completely flustered.
He °• N 𝑜 v 𝑒 l i g h t •° had broken the male Zerg's chair.
Hill climbed dizzily out of the soft spring breeze, not even realizing what had happened.
Then he noticed the shattered chair on the studio floor and blanked out.
Had they really been that intense?
"It's okay. It doesn't matter."
Hill first comforted the female Zerg.
He looked around the studio.
There was truly nowhere left to sit.
"Let's go back to our rooms."
Those words carried a slight ambiguity.
And Iso quietly followed behind him.
They were going to get married.
Sleeping together didn't seem strange.
For a brief moment, Hill really looked forward to lying in the same bed as Iso.
But they weren't married yet!
And if they slept together, Iso would have to pay him again.
Iso was already bankrupt.
Hill felt terrible for Iso's money.
At last, Hill stopped outside his room and turned around.
Meeting the male Zerg's gaze, Iso realized he had no intention of inviting him inside.
Before disappointment could even arise, he took a step back.
"Then, Lord, I'll be leaving first. You... good night. Sweet dreams."
"Mm."
Hill answered softly.
Standing beneath the warm corridor lights, he quietly looked at Iso.
Several seconds passed.
Neither moved first.
Eventually, Iso realized he had lingered too long.
He forced his eyes away from the male Zerg, turned around, and returned to his room.
Only after the female Zerg's door opposite his own had closed did Hill raise a hand and touch his lips.
He had thought Iso would come over and kiss him.
Though they'd already kissed twice.
And that feeling had been wonderful.
It made him want to keep trying.
Hill threw himself onto the bed and rolled around while hugging his blanket.
When he finally stopped, he hid half his face under the blanket, his eyes sparkling.
He was getting married.
Marrying Iso.
Having their own little family.
Whether it was Isi's stories, those photographs, or Isidore himself—
All of them showed him how beautiful the future was.
Hill had confidence that he and Iso could build a wonderful home together.
He wasn't resistant to this marriage at all.
Instead, he looked forward to it.
But if they were getting married, he had to tell his family.
He needed to go home.
Isidore's identity couldn't be exposed, so he couldn't bring him.
Leaving him alone in the villa wasn't reassuring either.
Should he use up Iso's dating leave?
After much thought, Hill decided to wait until tomorrow evening when Iso returned from school, leave Isi in his care, and make a quick trip home.
Evening was a bit rushed.
But a shuttle would be fast enough.
The only problem was that he still had two classes tomorrow afternoon.
Male Zerg Marriage Class.
Mm...
Hill checked the schedule and skipped the classes without the slightest guilt.
The whole purpose of marriage class was to get male Zergs married.
He was directly doing practical training.
...
The next day, Hill boarded a shuttle and headed home.
He had forgotten to notify his family beforehand.
But they were family, so formalities didn't matter.
He just didn't know whether Father had returned yet.
Lost in his thoughts, Hill stepped out of the shuttle and entered the manor.
As soon as he entered, he saw a familiar figure kneeling at the entrance.
One of his father's attendants.
The other party clearly hadn't expected Hill to suddenly return.
He looked up in shock.
Those brown eyes, the same color as Hill's hair, were full of embarrassment and panic.
Hill was the most embarrassed one.
He almost turned around and walked back out.
Suppressing the urge to retreat, he glanced at the brown-haired attendant who had clearly been kneeling for a long time.
Unable to bear it, he said,
"I'll go plead with Father."
"N-No, Hill..."
The attendant hurriedly stopped him.
When Hill looked over, he awkwardly forced a smile.
"It was Male Lord who punished me on behalf of the Female Lord. You can't plead for me..."
Between kneeling on two legs and having three legs broken...
He would still choose kneeling.
Though now, it looked like neither punishment could be avoided...
The attendant despaired.
If he'd known the young lord would return today, he would've rather gone to the training room and let the Female Lord beat him up.
