I Write Novels in a Zerg Prison
Chapter 255: Female Disguised as Male x Despairing Straight Female (11): He Couldn’t Possibly Let Felix Fool Around with Female-Female Relationships
【Watching Felix approach, Lucas practically turned to stone.
Last time, it had been Lucas sitting calmly in the hot spring, looking at Felix wrapped tightly on the shore and thinking that this military Female Zerg was far too shy.
Now, the one stiffening up and wanting to flee had become him.
There was no denying that Felix was beautiful. Even his skin beneath the water made it difficult to look away. His entire body seemed enveloped in some kind of sacred radiance, drawing Zergs toward him until Lucas could almost feel himself losing control and crossing the line.
Lucas’s Adam’s apple bobbed several times, and it took considerable effort for him to drag his gaze away. He felt as though he had been thrown into a boiling pot—no, actually, if someone really threw him into a boiling pot, he would probably remain perfectly calm. High-ranking Female Zergs had freakishly strong physiques capable of enduring even the scorching heat of magma.
And yet Lucas felt as though Felix’s gaze alone could cook him alive.
The ripples stirred by his approach, his smiling eyes, the breath falling against Lucas’s shoulder.
What kind of ordeal was this, even harder to endure than hell-level training?
“Major General, let me scrub your back for you.” Felix looked at him expectantly.
“N-No need.” Lucas refused, feeling that such contact would be far too intimate. He also didn’t dare expose his back to Felix.
Female Zergs scrubbing each other’s backs was actually perfectly normal and could even help deepen their camaraderie, but it became inappropriate when one of them was a lesbian.
Even with a lesbian, technically the front should be what needed guarding more, but Lucas had been ambushed from behind before, so for some inexplicable reason, he felt that he absolutely couldn’t leave his rear defenses open.
“Then how about I give you a massage?” Felix suggested again. His hand was already resting on Lucas’s firm arm, his eyes bright.
Lucas very much wanted to say, “No need for that either,” but for some reason, he couldn’t bear to see disappointment appear in those bright eyes.
He had already rejected Felix once. If he rejected him again, Felix would probably be upset, right?
No matter how proactive and enthusiastic a Female Zerg was, being rejected again and again would still hurt.
In the end, Lucas tacitly allowed it.
A subordinate giving his superior a massage could be considered a gesture of goodwill. Thinking about it that way made it somewhat less stressful.
Lucas tried his best to ignore the sensation of those hands against his body. Every press of fingertips against skin brought with it a scorching heat.
Lucas exhaled a hot breath amid the rising steam of the hot spring. The golden-red insect markings across his muscles rose and fell with his breathing, like a ferocious beast containing immense power.
Yet at this moment, that beast seemed to have had its lifeline effortlessly seized.
Felix stood slightly to his right, kneading and massaging him. Lucas hadn’t exposed his back to Felix and was also guarding his front. He figured there shouldn’t be any danger from the side, yet he still couldn’t truly relax.
Felix had long since noticed his tension. Even the massage couldn’t ease it, leaving Felix helpless and somewhat dejected.
“As expected, I’ve still made you dislike me, sir.” Felix regretfully withdrew his hand. He sighed inwardly and said with a bitter smile, “My feelings must make things very difficult for you, sir.”
They really did make things difficult.
But Lucas didn’t dislike him.
Lucas thought to himself.
Even the difficulty was primarily because Lucas was concerned about Felix’s future. His own feelings accounted for only a small part of it.
Lucas gazed at Felix and took in his expression. Rationally, he knew he should let things continue naturally in this direction—let Felix suffer the blow and give up.
But the sight of the red-haired military Female Zerg lowering his eyelashes made him unable to bear it. Those normally radiant eyes seemed veiled by mist beneath the hot spring steam, making one’s heart ache for him.
“I don’t dislike you,” Lucas said, giving the same answer as before.
Lucas, who once hadn’t known Felix liked Female Zergs, hadn’t disliked him.
And Lucas, who now knew Felix liked him, still didn’t dislike him.
Those golden-red eyes instantly brightened, shining brilliantly.
Lucas had only just breathed a sigh of relief when he realized he had clearly underestimated Felix’s ability to take a mile when given an inch.
Felix hugged him and pressed himself against him.
“Sir, you’re so good to me.”
Felix wrapped his arms around him, his hands resting against Lucas’s chest and his chin on Lucas’s shoulder, clinging to him with affection and dependence.
Meanwhile, Lucas felt himself sit on something, and a vein at his temple began throbbing violently.
The sensation of bare skin against bare skin couldn’t compare to what it had been like through clothing. Lucas actually felt his body go somewhat weak, but fortunately, his extreme nervousness simultaneously made every muscle in his body tense, resisting that trace of weakness so that the strange sensation wasn’t particularly obvious.
“Enough!” Lucas barked, his voice slightly unsteady. He adjusted his breathing, gritted his teeth, and said deeply, “I only said I don’t dislike you. I never said I accepted you!”
“I know, I know.” Felix kneaded him while smiling. “That’s why I need to work even harder to make the Major General fall for me.”
Felix’s thinking was very simple. The Major General had only said that he hadn’t accepted him yet, but he hadn’t rejected him either!
With Major General Lucas’s strength, if he truly wanted to reject Felix, he would have shattered Felix’s ribs with an elbow strike long ago, punched both his eyes black, and beaten him straight into the water.
How could Felix possibly still have opportunities to touch him however he pleased?
Lucas’s restrained resistance seemed more like inner conflict and hesitation, while Lucas himself didn’t actually dislike this kind of contact.
“It actually feels good, doesn’t it?” Felix asked softly beside his ear, his breath brushing across the shell of Lucas’s ear.
Lucas gritted his teeth, refusing to make a single sound. Back when Felix had first started kneading him, Lucas had failed [N O V E L I G H T] to suppress a muffled groan and had already lost all dignity because of it. From that moment onward, he refused to utter another sound.
By the time night fell and the two of them climbed out of the water to change clothes, Lucas was still somewhat drained. But when he carefully considered how his body felt, it really had been comfortable. His entire body felt so relaxed that he almost missed the sensation.
He figured it was probably because he had never been touched by a Male Zerg before, so even a Female Zerg’s touch felt good. He secretly cursed his own useless body for reacting that way.
After emerging from the changing room and facing Felix again, Lucas had no idea what expression he was supposed to make. He could only keep his face expressionless and stern as he walked outside.
Felix smilingly chased after him. “Major General, Major General, can I stand guard beside your bed tonight?”
He was pretty good at coming up with excuses.
If Lucas hadn’t seen Felix arrive at his residence carrying a pillow on the very first day after returning from Parasite Planet, he might actually have believed his nonsense.
“No.” Lucas rejected him coldly.
Felix hugged his arm and put on an aggrieved expression. “Major General, don’t reject me so many times in a single day...”
“You’re making too many requests!”
Lucas didn’t want to keep rejecting him either, but this Zerg simply didn’t understand discouragement. He was bursting with energy, constantly finding all sorts of excuses and making all sorts of requests. He was also extraordinarily quick to take a mile when given an inch. Give him a pole, and he could practically climb straight into the heavens.
If Felix had still restrained himself somewhat at first, then after their contact that night on Parasite Planet and after Lucas allowed him to pursue him, Felix stopped concealing anything whatsoever and became completely uninhibited.
Sometimes Lucas even felt that he was overreacting. Yet all the composure and self-control he normally possessed collapsed step by step whenever Felix was involved. He simply couldn’t remain steady.
There wasn’t a single Female Zerg who could remain calm when another Zerg of the same sex shoved that thing between his legs.
The same went for having his chest kneaded.
“Fine.” Felix sighed and obediently said, “Then I won’t bother you tonight.”
Lucas breathed a sigh of relief.
Felix secretly added in his heart: I’ll go tomorrow instead.
There would be plenty of opportunities in the future anyway.
He couldn’t push Lucas too hard. Having the opportunity he had now was already wonderful. Felix only wanted to test how much Lucas could accept and probe his boundaries. He certainly didn’t want to make Lucas annoyed with him or come to hate him.
As they were about to part, Felix asked, “Can I have a goodbye kiss?”
Lucas’s face darkened. “No.”
“Oh...” Felix sounded regretful and reluctant to part, unwilling to release the arm he was hugging.
Since it was nighttime and there were no other Zergs around, Lucas had allowed him to cling to his arm the entire way.
But now they had reached the officers’ residential area. Beneath the dim yellow streetlights, Lucas heard footsteps and conversation. Seeing Zergs approaching from the distance, he immediately glared at Felix, signaling for him to let go.
When Felix still looked blank and confused, Lucas had no choice but to physically pry him off his arm and make him stand properly.
During that brief commotion, the approaching Zergs had already drawn close enough for both sides to see each other.
It was Colonel Serfa and one of the noncommissioned officers under his command.
When their gazes met, Colonel Serfa paused slightly before walking over as naturally as possible to greet them.
“Major General. Colonel Felix.”
“Mm.” Lucas acknowledged him with a slight nod. His expression was tense, while in reality all his attention was focused on Felix beside him, afraid that this Zerg with no sense of appropriate distance would suddenly press himself against him in front of others.
Fortunately, Felix didn’t do anything quite that outrageous. He stood obediently to the side, his curious gaze falling on Colonel Serfa’s... noncommissioned officer behind him.
Found another one he liked?
Lucas was displeased. His brows drew together slightly as he followed Felix’s gaze toward the noncommissioned officer behind Colonel Serfa.
The officer looked somewhat panicked. He raised a hand to grab his slightly open collar and hurriedly tried to fasten the buttons. The more anxious he became, the harder it was to button them, and he still hadn’t managed after quite some time.
Improper military appearance.
Lucas frowned and was just about to speak when Colonel Serfa stepped forward first, blocking the noncommissioned officer from view with his body and saying with a stiff smile:
“Major General, we just returned from the training room. It’s already rather late, so we won’t disturb you. We’ll head back first.”
Lucas glanced at him before eventually nodding, letting the matter go.
He wasn’t some utterly inflexible Zerg who showed no mercy before regulations. He was willing to give Colonel Serfa some face. Since this was Serfa’s own subordinate, Lucas would let him handle it. It wasn’t appropriate for Lucas to bypass the chain of command and interfere.
After Colonel Serfa left with the other Zerg, Lucas turned around and saw Felix looking at him with a smile. Felix even blinked at him, as though he had discovered something amusing.
Lucas didn’t understand.
Seeing that it was already late and afraid Felix would start clinging to him again, he hurriedly told Felix to go back and rest.
Colonel and Major General were relatively close in rank, so Felix’s quarters were also near Lucas’s residence.
Felix walked away, looking back every few steps. Lucas stood at his doorway with a dark expression, watching him until Felix finally went inside.
Lucas then returned to his own quarters and closed the door behind him.
Thinking back on what had just happened, he still felt lingering fear.
Felix had been clinging to him like that. They had almost been seen.
A little physical contact between Female Zergs, such as patting each other on the shoulder, was normal enough. But Felix directly hugging his arm and pressing against him was very abnormal. It would definitely attract attention, and Zergs might easily suspect there was some kind of special relationship between them.
Fortunately, it had only been a false alarm.
Nothing had happened.
But he needed to be even more vigilant in the future.
Female-Female relationships were extremely uncommon. Out in ordinary society, they would at most encounter some prejudice. After all, it wasn’t illegal or against regulations. If they closed their doors and lived their own lives, it wouldn’t affect them too much.
But the military was different.
Military discipline was strict, and something like this would be considered a scandal.
If their behavior violated military discipline or was deemed harmful to the military’s image, disciplinary action would inevitably follow. In serious cases, they might be transferred, demoted, or even discharged.
Lucas pursed his lips slightly, his gaze heavy.
He didn’t want Felix to experience any of that.
That was also one of the major reasons he couldn’t accept Felix.
Yet Felix’s personality was completely different. He was excessively optimistic about things like this.
Remembering Felix’s outrageous behavior, Lucas’s expression darkened even further.
He decided that he needed to have a serious talk with Felix later. He couldn’t let Felix press so close to him outside. Felix absolutely had to pay attention to distance and conduct.
And there was also that noncommissioned officer Felix had been watching just now...
Lucas thought back. He hadn’t noticed whether the other Zerg was particularly good-looking, but there were no ugly high-ranking Female Zergs. At most, there were differences in personal taste and temperament.
Lucas snorted coldly to himself. Felix’s habit of liking every Female Zerg he saw needed to change too.
There was no way he would stand by and let Felix fool around with Female-Female relationships in the military.
If Felix dared fool around...
Then his training assignments clearly weren’t heavy enough.
All Lucas had to do was train him until he collapsed from exhaustion and couldn’t even move a finger.
He wouldn’t mind personally giving Felix some extra training.
Lucas stared coldly ahead, inexplicably irritated.
