Chapter 249: Female Disguised as Male x Despairing Straight Female (9): 'You Are My Right Path,' Felix Said with a Smile

  • Next Chapter

[AAAAAH, my eyes! What did I just see!??]

[Female homosexuality! There are homosexual Female Zergs!]

[(rolls eyes) You only just realized this novel is about homosexual Female Zergs?]

[I knew, but I couldn’t believe Major General Lucas would indulge Felix this much, and I especially couldn’t believe Felix would be this bold. He actually dared to do that to the Major General with so many eyes around—no, right in the middle of a military female encampment, with only a tent separating them from everyone else!]

[Felix clearly wasn’t in his right state. You can’t judge him by normal standards. Understandable, understandable.]

[€€, Major General Lucas was only treating his own colonel. They’re brothers-in-arms, so what’s wrong with sacrificing a little of his backside? Understandable, understandable.]

[? There’s something wrong with you people.]

[The ones who genuinely can’t accept it have already been scared senseless or didn’t even dare finish reading. Anyone still discussing it here was already the kind of fun-loving Zerg with a high tolerance for this stuff.]

[Forget that—the fact that Major General Lucas got hugged has already shot up StarNet’s trending discussions. That’s where you’ll find hordes of Zergs staring in disbelief with their eyes practically falling out.]

#Beware of Female Homosexuality!#

#Major General Lucas Hugged by Homosexual Female Zerg#Military#Wilderness#

#Special Mushroom Suspected of Making Homosexual Female Zergs Erect!#

Topic after topic shot up StarNet’s trending discussions. Some busybodies who couldn’t accept it even ran over to leave comments on the Marshal’s official account.

The most-liked comment was still: @Marshal, why is our An-shen writing about homosexual Female Zergs?

They weren’t merely frightened by the homosexual Female Zerg plot. They were also deeply worried about the Marshal and An-shen’s love life.

First came reports that the Marshal was rebuilding the Marshal’s residence, followed by rumors that An-shen and the Marshal’s wedding was imminent.

Then, in the very next moment, An-shen published a Female Zerg × Female Zerg romance, making everyone suspect that something had happened to traumatize him while he was touring the Marshal’s residence.

At first, the readers had still clung to a sliver of hope, thinking this novel might not be what they imagined. But the new chapter had completely confirmed it.

Felix and Lucas might not have actually slept together yet, but they weren’t far off. Even pheromones had come out.

[I wonder how much of Major General Lucas’s ass was sacrificed in all this. Was he frightened or was he €€?]

[Probably both. Judging from the description in the novel, the Major General also lost control a little toward the end. I seriously suspect the Major General felt something too.]

[Now that would be impressive. If the Major General was using his backside, then it’s not like he lost anything. What I want to know is how Felix managed to get erect. And he stayed that way for so long, all the way until morning. Plenty of Male Zergs don’t even have that kind of stamina, right?]

[Shh, shh, shh! Is that something we’re allowed to discuss? You mustn’t recklessly criticize Male Zerg Lords.]

[You can’t compare the sensitivity of Female Zergs and Male Zergs in the front to begin with. It’s normal for it to take a little longer.]

[Whatever the case, that’s practically equivalent to the endurance of an A-rank Male Zerg. Female Zergs are even stronger physically. Aside from not having Male Zerg pheromones, there isn’t much else they lack.]

[I don’t know why, but I have this feeling that Major General Lucas would be very €€ (whispers).]

[First of all, I’m not a homosexual Female Zerg. Second, even if you asked me to replace Lucas and take all of that, I’d be willing. Felix is so beautiful, a genuine great beauty, and he comes from behind, which is very considerate of a Female Zerg’s feelings. It feels like the experience would be pretty good.]

[Has anyone actually researched how Felix managed to do it? Was it really because of that bowl of mushrooms?]

[Forget messing around with Parasite Planet for now. Open up a market for those mushrooms first! Those honey-colored mushrooms sound pretty tasty. I want to try them too. PS: I’m not a homosexual Female Zerg. I absolutely do not want them for that sort of thing.]

[I understand, I understand. Same here. I just want to taste them.]

[My Male Lord says he wants to try them too. Can Male Zergs eat them? Would a small amount cause any problems?]

[Feeding them to a Male Zerg Lord still seems too risky, doesn’t it?]

[But if they can make a Female Zerg erect, wouldn’t the effect on a Male Zerg be even better? (whispers)]

[I’ve had enough of you people! If your rank is too low, work hard and break through! Stop resorting to these crooked methods! An A-rank Tianjia male can battle his female lord for an entire month without a problem. As long as he rests appropriately, eats, and replenishes his energy, he can keep going. If yours can’t, go home and reflect on whether his rank is too low and he’s simply too weak!]

[You Tianjia are savages! You actually make your males work that hard.]

[Good steel needs plenty of tempering!]

[Stop tormenting your males. I think you Tianjia need those mushrooms the most. Let two females use them together.]

[We’ve never heard of those mushrooms having that effect before. Otherwise, wouldn’t all the military females who go to Parasite Planet every year to clear out parasites and cook meals on-site have descended into chaos long ago? Maybe Felix is a special case.]

...

[Felix woke from his sleep feeling warm all over.

He slowly opened his eyes and saw the warm colors of sunlight shining through the tent, beautiful and hazy.

He sat up, feeling extraordinarily comfortable, with an indescribable sense of relief and satisfaction throughout his body.

Something seemed to have happened last night. Felix couldn’t quite remember it. He only felt as though he’d had an exceptionally pleasant dream.

Lucas had been in that dream, smiling at him, guiding him, letting Felix do whatever he wanted with him.

He couldn’t think about it.

If he thought about it too much, he was going to get a nosebleed.

Felix hurriedly covered his nose.

Then he realized something wasn’t right. The sensations in his dream had been incredibly realistic, as though even now he could still recall exactly how they had felt.

Had it really only been a dream?

Felix wasn’t certain, and he was beginning to worry.

He hurriedly climbed out of the sleeping bag, tidied himself up, and went to look for Lucas.

The moment he stepped out of the tent, he spotted Lucas by the river, supervising the military females as they prepared breakfast.

Lucas stood with his arms folded beneath the morning light of the sunrise, his warm golden hair covered in a dazzling layer of gold that made him particularly striking.

As though sensing Felix’s gaze, Lucas turned his head slightly and looked over. The instant their eyes met, Lucas froze for a moment. His gaze flickered away evasively before he somewhat unnaturally turned his head aside, his entire body stiff.

Did Lucas hate him now?

Felix was devastated.

At the same time, he worried that he really had done something last night that had left Lucas with a terrible impression of him, so he hurried over, wanting to explain.

On the way, he saw the dishes the military females had prepared. He casually glanced at them and unexpectedly noticed there were no mushrooms.

They weren’t cooking those delicious honey mushrooms from yesterday?

A trace of confusion arose in Felix’s mind, but Lucas was more important right now, and he had no time to care about that.

“Major General, last night...” Felix began as soon as he reached Lucas.

Lucas silenced him with a sharp glare, swept his eyes over the surrounding military females who had all pricked up their ears to eavesdrop, and hurriedly dragged Felix away.

He pulled Felix into a secluded part of the forest. Only after confirming that they were far enough away that even the sharp-eared military females shouldn’t be able to hear them did he release Felix’s wrist. He stiffly took a step to the side, putting some distance between them.

Felix sensed the resistance in Lucas’s movements. The pink bubbles that had appeared in his mind when Lucas grabbed him and pulled him away instantly burst, and his thoughts cleared.

He asked sadly, “Major General, did I say something in my sleep last night? Or was my sleeping posture bad?”

Lucas: “...”

His sleeping posture certainly had been bad.

He had practically wedged himself right in there.

He had talked in his sleep too. Saying things about liking him—those were obviously the words of someone dreaming and not fully conscious.

Lucas’s expression wasn’t particularly pleasant, and he didn’t directly answer the question.

But Felix had already read the answer from his face.

He immediately became even more anxious.

“Did I offend you?”

Felix asked tentatively, his heart rising into his throat.

He couldn’t distinguish which of last night’s memories had been dreams and which had been things he had actually done to Lucas in reality.

In any case, Lucas certainly wouldn’t have smiled at him the way he had in the dream.

And he definitely wouldn’t have spread his legs for him either.

When Felix mentioned “offending” him, Lucas’s lips tightened into a straight line. After a while, he glanced at Felix’s nervous expression before finally saying,

“You weren’t in the right state last night and weren’t fully conscious. I understand. I won’t take it to heart, so you don’t need to worry either. Forget about it. There’s no need to mention it again.”

That meant he hadn’t denied Felix’s claim that he had “offended” him.

Felix was terrified.

He really hadn’t been fully conscious, to the point that he couldn’t tell which things in that “dream” he had actually done and which he hadn’t.

Surely he hadn’t done all of them, right??!

Felix was utterly horrified and felt as though he wasn’t far from death.

Major General Lucas was going to beat him to death, wasn’t he?

But if Felix really had done something that offensive, the Major General actually wasn’t going to hold it against him?

Felix secretly glanced at Major General Lucas’s cold, stern profile. He looked extraordinarily handsome, radiating an aura that kept other Zergs a thousand miles away, and yet Felix could somehow sense the tolerance and indulgence Lucas showed specifically toward him.

The very fact that Lucas wasn’t holding it against him was itself a gesture of goodwill.

“Major General,” Felix whispered, “I apologize for offending you last night. I didn’t mean for things to happen this quickly...”

He didn’t mean for things to happen this quickly?

Did that mean he really had intended to do it eventually?

Lucas frowned.

He didn’t know whether he should be shocked by Felix’s sheer audacity—he dared to think it, and he dared to do it.

Meanwhile, Felix was still moving closer. He pressed against Lucas and hugged his hand, cautious yet unable to conceal his excitement as he tentatively asked in a soft voice,

“But you don’t hate me, right?”

Lucas remained silent for a long moment.

He knew exactly what Felix was asking, and that was precisely why he couldn’t answer.

“There’s no point talking about this,” Lucas said.

“How could there be no point?”

Felix blinked his bright eyes, which once again came alive with radiance.

“You accept my closeness and don’t reject me. That itself already proves something.”

Not rejecting him was already the most basic form of liking.

At the very least, Lucas had already reached the level of shallow affection.

If it were some other Zerg standing here, Felix certainly didn’t believe Lucas would simply let that Zerg hug him.

See?

This was a privilege that belonged to Felix alone.

“You may already know how I feel...”

Felix’s eyes shone as he said, “I like you. I want to pursue you. I want to be with you.”

“...”

The pressure was so intense that Lucas’s head began to ache.

This Female Zerg was far too straightforward and passionate, as though worldly conventions never even entered his considerations.

Or perhaps he had considered them but simply didn’t care. He possessed enough confidence and self-assurance, enough passion and love, to dare break through the shackles imposed by society.

But a relationship between two Female Zergs had never been opposed merely because of social conventions.

There were also genetics, pheromones, and Psychic Soothing.

As the older one and as Felix’s superior officer, Lucas should guide him and lead him back onto the right path.

But beneath the expectant gaze of Felix’s brilliant eyes, filled with countless sparks of light, Lucas couldn’t say a single word.

“Could you give me a chance?” Felix asked with utter sincerity.

“You don’t have to accept or reject me immediately. Just give me a chance to pursue you. I’ll treat you very, very well. I’ll prove my love and determination to you, so please give me a chance to win your heart.”

Lucas remained silent for a long time.

Rationally, he knew he should refuse and put an end to everything right here.

Yet an uncontrollable thought in the depths of his mind began to waver.

If he rejected Felix outright, Felix would surely refuse to accept it. He wouldn’t give up and would continue carrying these feelings in his heart. Perhaps Lucas should give him a chance and let him personally experience how difficult this path was until he gave up on his own.

In the end, Lucas agreed.

He agreed to give Felix a chance.

But only under three conditions.

They were not allowed to expose their relationship in front of other Zergs. In the military, they had to follow the rules. And... if Felix failed to “win him over,” then Felix had to give up and return to the right path.

“You are my right path,” Felix said with a smile.

But under Lucas’s disapproving gaze, he still agreed to the conditions and obtained the opportunity to pursue him.

...]

[(takes notes) (takes notes) Good grief, Felix really knows what he’s doing. He was already incredibly good at it when he persuaded Major General Lucas to stay and spend the night with him before, and he really did succeed.]

[Wait, what? You’re even taking notes from a homosexual Female Zerg? Have you really become that desperate?]

[As long as it works, who cares about irrelevant details? Maybe the Male Zerg Lords will fall for this exact approach.

And to be fair, I feel like Felix is way better at this than all those previous Female Zerg protagonists. Claire, Iso, undercover Avis... If you replaced any of them with Felix in their respective scenarios, he’d clear them in minutes.]

[Seriously. The things Felix says would absolutely work when pursuing Male Zerg Lords. No wonder Lucas himself certified Felix as “the type Male Zergs like most.” Even in this respect, he perfectly appeals to Male Zerg tastes.

But how did such an all-round, perfect Female Zerg end up liking Female Zergs of all things? I don’t even know whether I should regret it or celebrate the fact that such a formidable competitor has been removed from the field.]
