Three giant ice balls above Hasa plummeted heavily, crashing into the ground where Amor stood.
**Boom!**
A massive explosion destroyed the area. A high-pressure blast of cold wind swept away the remnants of the village buildings.
**Sst!**
Amor's body was blown far up into the air by the explosion. Hasa immediately dashed forward, sliding smoothly on the ice floor, chasing after Amor's defenseless body in the air.
In the air, Amor bit his lower lip. The veins on his neck and temples bulged tensely.
He returned his red sword into its sheath.
**Sst.**
Pitch-black fire ignited, engulfing both of his legs.
**Dug!**
Amor landed solidly on the ice floor. The intense heat from his legs instantly melted the ice beneath him.
**Ssss.**
Thick hot steam billowed. The air around Amor became so incredibly hot that it distorted the view. The Husa Clan soldiers and the surrounding dragons slowly backed away to avoid the heatwave.
Hasa halted his rapid advance. He stood upright, staring at Amor.
"You want a fistfight?" Amor said in annoyance. He raised both of his fists, forming a boxer's stance.
Hasa did not answer. He dashed forward, plunging through the hot steam. Tremendous ice energy radiated from his body. Sharp ice balls grew and hovered, spinning behind his back.
**Sst!**
The ice balls shot rapidly, striking Amor's body. Amor parried them using his arms. The ice balls instantly melted and evaporated upon touching Amor's blazing skin.
At the exact same time, Hasa launched a lethal straight punch toward his head.
Amor tilted his head to evade the punch. He twisted his hips and unleashed a sweeping hook using his right hand, enveloped in pitch-black fire, aimed right at Hasa's lower jaw.
**Dug!**
**Wosh!**
Hasa was nearly thrown away by the punch's momentum. He forced his feet to grip the ground to remain standing.
**Dug!**
Amor immediately launched an uppercut. This time, the fire on his fist concentrated sharply, forming the tip of a small, glowing sword.
**Srkak!**
The sharp fire pierced through the jaw right into Hasa's head. Fresh blood sprayed and scattered.
As Hasa's body was about to be launched upward, Amor moved quickly, grabbing the collar of Hasa's armor to hold his enemy down. Amor clenched his left fist, preparing to strike his eye.
Hasa reacted extremely fast. He ducked and evaded to the side. Amor's hand missed, punching empty air right next to Hasa's head.
Amor had already predicted that. He twisted his body following the momentum of his missed hand and landed a fire-blazing elbow strike flawlessly onto Hasa's temple.
**Dug!**
**Thud!**
Hasa was thrown hard, slamming into the stone floor. Amor did not give him a single opening to breathe. He leaped, pinning Hasa's head to the ground, and rained down a rapid barrage of punches.
**Dug!**
**Dug!**
**Dug!**
**Dug!**
Small fire explosions erupted every time Amor's fist struck Hasa's face. Blood and ice shards scattered in all directions. The skin and flesh of Hasa's face melted and burned.
The surrounding soldiers could only stand frozen, watching the brutal scene. They did not dare to step forward.
"Wh-what is..." one of the soldiers stuttered. His hand trembled, gripping his sword hilt.
"Move forward, idiot!" another soldier shouted from behind him.
The soldier recklessly ran forward, approaching Amor from behind.
**Sst.**
A heatwave swept over his body when he was barely a meter away. His body instantly burned to ashes.
"Aaaaa!" he screamed before his remains crumbled to the ground.
The area around Amor had become an incredibly hot death zone where anyone who entered would be scorched to a crisp.
Elsewhere, near the stone wall area.
Hesa widened her eyes upon seeing the scene. Her legs struggled to walk forward to help Hasa, but her body was restrained.
"What the..." Hesa muttered.
**Tap.**
She felt a palm touch her shoulder from behind. The hand felt extremely cold.
"I am your opponent, idiot."
**Sst!**
Hesa leaped backward as fast as lightning.
She stared straight ahead. Her pupils dilated. She saw Mila's head slowly regenerating, merging back with her severed neck. Blood and flesh knitted together rapidly. Mila stood upright with a wide smile.
Hesa tilted her head in disbelief. "How is this possible? I already killed you!"
Mila smiled, holding back her laughter. "Idiot."
"Thought it was easy to kill me," Mila said dismissively. "Thought it was easy to kill a—" Mila held her tongue instantly.
*Idiot, I almost let slip the word Witch,* Mila muttered in her heart.
Mila fell silent and closed her eyes. She cast a spell soundlessly. She raised her right hand, pointing to the sky with two fingers.
In the dark sky above the fortress, brightly glowing points of white, purple, and yellow light appeared.
"I'm too lazy to fight, so I'll just end this now," Mila said calmly.
The lights in the sky glowed even brighter. Mila kept her eyes closed.
A few seconds passed. The wind blew softly, sweeping the dust. Nothing happened.
Hesa frowned. *What is she doing,* Hesa thought. *She's just standing still, could it be just a bluff.*
Hesa drew her ice sword again. She thickened the layer of ice on her blade, then slowly stepped forward.
One of the soldiers in the back row looked hesitant. He pulled his comrade's arm tightly. "Don't go."
"Huh?" his comrade turned in confusion.
"Trust me, don't go forward!" the soldier snapped in fear.
"What is wrong with you!" His comrade swatted the hand away. He ignored the warning and walked slowly, eventually running to catch up with Hesa.
Hesa sprinted swiftly, leading dozens of soldiers toward Mila.
A moment later.
**Thud!**
The corpse of a giant dragon fell from the sky, crashing right in front of Hesa.
Hesa's pupils shrank in shock. She looked up.
**Srak!**
Hesa's head was pierced by a needle-thin laser beam from the sky. Blood sprayed from her skull.
**Sst!**
**Srak! Srak! Srak!**
Dozens of soldiers running toward Mila suffered the same fate. Thousands of tiny glowing needles plummeted like rain, piercing through every soldier.
**Srak! Srak! Srak!**
The atmosphere turned dead silent.
**Sstrak!**
Hundreds of soldiers fell. Their bodies were riddled with burnt holes, dripping fresh blood that soaked the gravel ground. Hesa and all the soldiers collapsed, dying instantly.
Mila remained standing calmly with her eyes closed, pointing upward with two fingers.
In another area, Amor released his grip on Hasa. Hasa's body had turned into a skeleton as all his skin and flesh had melted and burned away.
Amor stood up. He lifted the skeletal body high up, then tossed it to the ground. Amor forcefully yanked the dragon horns from Hasa's skull and stored them inside his cloak pocket.
In the distance, high above the fortress cliffs, a black crow flew silently, observing the bloody scene. The crow then flapped its wings and flew away.
Elsewhere, in a different corner of the sky, a small gold-scaled dragon hovered, watching the battle from afar. The golden dragon's eyes narrowed sharply.
The scene shifted.
A spacious room looked luxurious and grand. Thick red wooden pillars towered high, supporting a roof adorned with beautifully coiled golden dragon carvings. Long red fabric curtains draped against the traditional wooden walls. Lanterns radiated a warm yellow light, illuminating the wooden carvings and the stone floor. In the center of the room sat a massive long wooden table. A giant ancient rolled map with red flag markers was spread wide across the table.
Villavia stood with his back to the map.
"They succeeded," Villavia said calmly, breaking the silence of the room. He glanced toward Aldes.
Toba was startled. He stood up abruptly from his wooden chair, making it creak loudly. "Hey, what do you mean, those two succeeded?"
"The wall guard troops have been reduced to ashes," Villavia answered flatly.
Aldes, standing at the side of the table, slowly bit his lower lip. His eyes stared straight at the map. "So that's how it is," Aldes muttered.
