Chapter 49 - The Lone Killer In The Shadow
Chapter 49: The Lone Killer in the Shadow
In the room.
Jack sat beside McRae and watched in disbelief as he worked.
Just after McRae used his movement technique to kill the orc, the excited Jack directly stood up and waved his right hand. He couldn't help but slap his thigh hard.
Slap!
After a loud and clear sound, Jack directly spat out, "God! McRae, are you a God?"
McRae shrugged and said indifferently, "Basic operation."
Jack, who was standing behind him, looked at McRae's face. It was as if McRae was saying: "This is nothing" and "As long as you have your hands". He wanted to strangle him!
.Damn it!
Yet, he could back up this cockiness!
Jack resisted the urge to strangle McRae and asked suspiciously, "Then, since you can complete the mission alone, why did you let these spies cause trouble?"
Jack already felt that his brain wasn't enough. He really didn't know what McRae was thinking!
McRae yawned and said vaguely, "Don't worry, you'll find out eventually. Besides, fighting with a few more people is always much easier than fighting alone."
McRae didn't explain further.
His ultimate goal was to completely conquer Mark, the Gale Rogue, on the technical level!
Mark. In his previous life, this name was also a famous ID. It was an ID that would make all fragile players frown upon hearing it.
If McRae was an invincible God of War who was invincible and unkillable, and could fight 100 alone, then Mark was a lonely killer in the shadows.
Mark actually didn't belong to any organization. He and his two underlings, Mary and Jerry, were professional players with the nature of a studio. To put it bluntly, they lived in the game as bounty hunters.
This time, he had simply accepted the reward mission from the Fire Group's boss, George.
McRae knew this very well.
In fact, when McRae first saw Mark's name on the list of applicants, he had already started planning in his heart how to subdue this killer in the shadows.
…
In the game.
McRae slowly walked in front of everyone, patted the dust on his body, and stabbed the scepter in his hand into the ground. He looked at everyone with a meaningful gaze, especially Ron, Charles, and Blair.
Then, he slowly said, "The game Divine Domain is not as simple as you think. You are still far from it."
Unfortunately, no one knew what McRae really meant. They all thought that he was mocking them.
But even so, no one retorted. After all, the orcs who had just been killed were still lying in the forest.
Everyone was silent. Apart from Mark and the other two, the three spies were already impatient to quickly and deliberately die after the final BOSS appeared.
They even had the feeling that McRae already knew they were spies.
This was too torturous!
They were already starting to miss the good old times they had with their teams, clearing dungeons.
McRae looked at the three whose expressions became more and more unnatural. The corners of his mouth curled up slightly, and he directly said calmly, "Continue."
Soon, the group of ten advanced rapidly under McRae's precise command.
When they encountered another orc, McRae stood leisurely at the back of the team and seriously commanded the few spies who were trying to just tag along.
"Ron, take three steps to the left and block them."
"Charles, stand on Jerry's right and maintain the distance of two bodies. You know how to look at your positioning, right?"
"Blair, move back ten yards. Prepare the fireball and release it after charging it for three seconds."
McRae was very patient as he issued orders one after another. As for Mark and the other two, he chose to observe.
Ron and the other two didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
This McRae had probably figured out that they were spies. Otherwise, why would he treat them as new noobs to teach?
However, this way, they really couldn't hold back. In McRae's eyes, their purpose was to block the space and create a condition for damage output for the remaining people.
McRae continued to command in an orderly manner, "Yes, well done, good block. Is your fireball constipated? Didn't I say three seconds, why hasn't it been released for five seconds?"
The three of them were really tormented by McRae.
Under such a patronizing command, going easy had become an extravagant hope.
They could only try their best to delay their positioning and release their skills, hoping to cause damage to their teammates.
However, these were all useless. Once any of them deliberately made a mistake, McRae would hold the broken wooden pole and knock it directly on his body, and then curse fiercely.
"Idiot!"
Although there was no friendly fire in the dungeon, as a skilled expert, no one could tolerate this treatment.
Ron and the other two were completely silent. In their minds, they had even completely given up on the idea of killing McRae.
At the same time.
In their hearts, the difficulty of killing McRae had already reached the SSS level. It was even impossible to complete.
They only wanted to get out of this dungeon as soon as possible. Even if they didn't complete the mission, being taught a lesson by the boss was still better than being treated like an idiot by McRae.
