On the south wing of the estate, inside the two-storey building that housed the servants’ quarters.

On the uppermost floor, and inside a very large room, even more grandios in size and decorations as compared to that of Ben’s own.....

Four male servants in both grey and green clothing, with triangular branding on their foreheads, stood around the room, with others making their way in.

In the corner of the room, a young man in a grey servant’s outfit denoting his rank as a junior servant was talking to another in a green servant’s outfit.

"Wow... Senior Gildhart is amazing...."

"Every time I get to see his room, I still can’t believe he’s also a servant like us."

"Scoff. What do you even know? You’ve only been here for a few months......"

"Unlike the rest of us noble servants who are mostly from baronies and vicounties, Gildhart’s father is a count..... And he is his only son."

"Not just that... it is said that on his mother’s side, his uncle is also not simple."

"Wow... no wonder Senior Gildhart is so different from the rest of us."

"Of course he is different.... Not only that, but he is also quite talented; in less than one year, Gildhart has reached the peak stage of the Apprentice Knight realm."

"No one in this duchy estate would dare to touch him, even if he..."

The servant in a green outfit suddenly had his words stuck in his throat when he saw Gildhart make his way inside with a swollen face and a broken, bloody nose.

Everyone in the room was extremely shocked by the scene, so they began to make assumptions, whispering between themselves about what might have happened while Gildhart ignored everyone and disappeared into another adjoining room.

Everyone remained standing and waiting for almost ten minutes, until Gildhart finally reappeared from the room, his face cleaned up and putting on a fresher outfit. Though his face was still slightly swollen with a crooked nose, it appeared that the injury was healing rapidly.

Gildhart took his seat while the others remained standing, and Kylian went to stand right next to his side, with his ever-present default smiling face and perpetually squinting almost closed eyes.

"I am sure you all are wondering what happened to my face....."Gilhart began speaking, and all others present nodded in affirmation.

"Well, It’s nothing serious.....I just had to fight off a gang of intruders who broke into the estate."

For some reason, everyone present doubted that what Gilhart had said was the truth.

For one, he isn’t the type to act like a hero and fight off intruders, and secondly, even though they all knew the current dire straits of the estate, this still wasn’t a place anyone could break into.... It was basically a death sentence for most.

Though they doubted his half-assed explanation, none of them dared to challenge it. After all, they were all living enjoyably thanks to the benefits this person brought. So they even started to praise him....

"Wow.... that’s so like you, Senior Gildhart; your heroism, honor, and bravery know no bounds."

"Exactly, Gildhart is so amazing....those vagabonds will regret ever trespassing."

One after the other, they took turns blowing smoke up Gildhart’s rear, fawning for his approval and giving the best compliments.

It was expected, though Gilhart had been reduced to the status of a servant after having been deballed just like the rest of them.....

He was still the only son of Count Von Highstatus, one of the richest nobles in their entire kingdom who dealt in different special consumer goods.

Gildhart’s influence in this estate was immense, and as fellow nobles, they too enjoyed many benefits from being aligned with him.

Gilhart waved dismissively at their fawning praise; he was starting to feel uncomfortable since he knew that he had just lied to them. He couldn’t tell them the truth that some weak commoner slave had punched the consciousness out of him.

"Anyways.... That’s not why I have called you all here..."

"Kylian"

Gilhart called the name of his most trusted confidant and friend, as Kylian, with his squinted eyes and perpetual smiling face, stepped forward, speaking....

"It is no longer news that three days ago, a certain nobody slave was elevated to the status of the estate’s healer....."

As Kylian spoke with his hands crossed behind his back, all those gathered nodded their heads, indicating they all knew of this development, none of them showing that much of an extreme reaction.

"This person who goes by the strange name of ’Hardwood ’ has even gained the trust of our mistress so much so that he was seen paying a visit to her chambers again today."

As Kylian made this last statement, the expressions of all the young men gathered instantly soured into an ugly frown.

Some had veins of annoyance popping on their foreheads, while others looked like they were about to flip the nearest table.

All eight young men present had at one point in time experienced the joys of Faerwyn, right before having their dicks removed.

And to every last one of them, it had been such an experience that they all instantly fell head over heels for the one they now called their mistress.

Each one nursing memories of their own special nights, with dreams of one day being able to experience such again.

But they weren’t delusional enough to think they could fight over the same woman with Gildhart....

So unanimously, even though they were still obsessed with the mistress, everyone had set those feelings aside so as not to get on the bad side of Gildhart, who was even rumored to have the paintings of the mistress hanging all over his inner room walls.

Because of who Gildhart was, no one would risk getting on his bad side by trying to eye his woman. But that only applies to Gildhart....

For a commoner slave, unlike them nobles, to not only earn a station above them, but even get to become so favored by the duchess that he’s called into her chambers for a second time, something that has never even happened with Gildhart....It was simply preposterous.

One of the noble servants, not able to contain his emotions anymore, slammed his fist hard on the wall, causing a crack to form as he fumed in anger....

"That Scoundrel!"
