I Truly Am The Villian

Chapter 2106 - 2105: The True Martial Holy Sect's Foundation, the Might of the Eight Kings

Before them, there were only two paths.

To sacrifice oneself for the sect or to seek another way to live.

To be honest, some have affection for the sect, while others do not. If we oppose the World Immortal this time, there is no doubt we will perish.

Life is precious.

At this time, the True Martial Nation was divided into two factions.

Whether commoners or the upper echelons of the nation, some began to flee the True Martial Nation to save their lives.

Yet, some headed to the True Martial Holy Sect, willing to live and die with the sect.

The battlefront of the True Martial Holy Sect continued to shrink, and vast territories were being given up.

At this time, they surely had to gather their strength; otherwise, battling on multiple fronts would lead to certain death.

Of course, even if gathered, it would still lead to certain death.

...…

The autumn wind was fierce, chilling the hearts of men.

On True Martial Mountain, from the foot of the mountain upwards, the area was densely packed with people.

These were all disciples of the True Martial Holy Sect.

The Sect Protection Array had been activated, the azure formation reflecting the boundless sky.

The surging power operated within the formation, the ancient foundation silently telling their tales.

The formation was established in the era of the True Martial Great Emperor and later bolstered by generations of emperors.

The last emperor was the Eternal Ancient Great Emperor.

Back then, unless the Great Emperor personally arrived, no one could break it.

But time has worn on, and now much of the formation's power has eroded.

Even the Daoimprints of the emperor were blurred.

This formation was no longer invincible.

Otherwise, the disciples of the True Martial Holy Sect could stay safely within the formation.

All around True Martial Mountain, the forces of the Eight Kings had begun to advance toward it.

This time, not many came, only tens of thousands.

But everyone knew that low-tier combat power wasn't important, merely used to clean the battlefield.

True victory rested on high-end power.

Moreover, with the eight forces each sending tens of thousands, they amassed hundreds of thousands together.

As these eight forces approached True Martial Mountain, sealing it tightly, the higher-ups of the Eight Kings would also arrive.

A crow's cry echoed through the firmament, and a splash of blood came from the east, where massive blood crows flew toward them.

On the backs of these blood crows stood figures, but they were not of the human race, but the Blood Crow Clan.

Though they had human bodies, they had crow heads, wore black robes, and draped themselves in red cloaks.

The Blood Crow Clan was one of the Eight Kings.

Accompanying the Blood Crow Clan was the Imperial Extreme Family.

Although the Imperial Extreme Family had not produced a Great Emperor, they boasted Seven Emperors.

The term Emperor referred to a newly named realm on the Yuan Central Continent.

This realm was stronger than the Divine Vein Realm, yet weaker than the Great Emperor.

Reaching the pinnacle of the Divine Vein Realm resulted in becoming an Emperor.

Though having Seven Emperors was less significant than a Great Emperor, it was enough to position the Imperial Extreme Family at the pinnacle of the Eastern Continent.

After all, only one Great Emperor existed in an era.

Great Emperors were rare; Emperors were the dominion of the world.

Members of the Imperial Extreme Family wore imperial robes and arrived on a massive royal ship.

This ship traversed the void, glinting as if gold-plated, emitting dazzling light in the sun.

This time, the Seven Emperors led the Imperial Extreme Family.

All Seven Emperors were present, underscoring their seriousness about the matter and their resolve to annihilate the True Martial Holy Sect.

Meanwhile, from the north and west, two more forces arrived.

A Luoshu scroll known to all under heaven,

A Thunder Sea inverted over Nine States.

This was the Luoshu family and Thunder Ridge, members of the Eight Kings.

The Luoshu family wielded the divine artifact Luoshu, said to divide heaven's talent into ten parts, with Luoshu taking eight.

Whether exaggerated or not, the Luoshu family was indeed formidable.

Thunder Ridge, an extraterrestrial force, claimed origin from the five continental creation, residing in the Eastern Continent, calling themselves Thunder Beasts.

Within Thunder Beasts, the king was the Thunder King, known for wielding Thunder Skills to pierce the heavens.

It was said he could summon a torrent of thunder with a mere motion.

Thunder Ridge was a place of ultimate burial.

Adding to these four forces, when Magpie Bridge Fairyland arrived, a rainbow bridge appeared in the sky.

It was full of birdsongs and blossoming flowers, small bridges and flowing streams, resembling the meeting place of the cowherd and weaving maiden.

The realm lord of Magpie Bridge Fairyland wore a gown blooming with flowers, stepping forward like the Hundred Flowers Fairy.

In addition, the Other Shore Capital had arrived.

With visions of the Other Shore, rarely seen in life, the Other Shore meant the separation of Yin and Yang, excelling in space power.

Time as Venerable, and Space as King.

From the void, a crack inexplicably appeared, growing until it became a massive gateway.

People wearing blue robes emerged from it.

The sect master of the Other Shore Capital named himself Void-breaking Venerable, not opting for the title of Emperor, yet he was among the peak of strong individuals.

In this world, the sun in the sky suddenly dimmed.

As if a Heavenly Dog were devouring it, something split the sun in two.

Half shone brightly, while the other half was cloaked in darkness.

This was the Eclipse Family, one of the Eight Kings.

They subsisted on sunlight and flame, growing stronger the fiercer the fire.

Supposedly, their ultimate goal was to consume the sun.

This seemed incredible.

Now half the sun was obscured, and people appeared out of the void.

They wore attire more radiant than the sun, seemingly the most resplendent existence in this realm.

They were not quite human, though resembling humans closely.

Seven of the Eight Kings had arrived; only the Abyss of Nightmares remained.

The Thunder King, somewhat displeased, said, "The Abyss of Nightmares truly makes a grand entrance, always arriving last as if they want to conclude the show."

"Do not be angry, Thunder King," a hearty laughter echoed from the void.

"The Journey from the Abyss of Nightmares is long, coming late was beyond our control."

Suddenly, black mist filled the void.

Like a nightmare, ghostly wails sounded, and in the firmament, a stele appeared without warning, unnoticed by all.

"The Wailing Ghost Stele," someone exclaimed in surprise.

"Isn't this the guardian treasure of the Abyss of Nightmares? They've brought it out?"

"It seems the Abyss of Nightmares is taking heavy losses this time."

The appearance of the Wailing Ghost Stele severely distorted the rules of this world.

Behind the Wailing Ghost Stele emerged an unfathomable abyss, from which heaps of grotesque demons crawled.

The Abyss of Nightmares excelled in transformative techniques, typically displaying human forms in the mortal world.

This seemed more acceptable.

Now that the abyss appeared, these demons had nothing to hide.

Despite their notorious reputation, the Abyss of Nightmares' overwhelming power compelled the various forces of the Eastern Continent to acknowledge them.
