I Truly Am The Villian

Chapter 2090 - 2089: Deal Within the True Martial Holy Sect

This massive hand seemed to have emerged from a black hole. If one stared at it long enough, they might find it strangling their own neck, brutally snapping it.

The hand was terrifying beyond measure. Yet, upon a closer look, it resembled a vortex or black hole with no extraordinary phenomena occurring around it.

Yan Gui was the first to step inside, with Xu Zimei and Lin Ruhu close behind.

Inside this black hole lay an entirely separate space. Upon entry, one's senses would find the world spinning violently.

It's as if the world turned upside down, with space distorting.

Having grown accustomed to time-space shuttles, Xu Zimei steadied himself after a spell of dizziness.

However, there was nowhere in this space to set foot; it was purely a void.

People's bodies simply floated within the space.

Just like the moon, there was no gravity.

In front of them, Yan Gui was nowhere to be seen, while directly ahead stood a throne.

On the throne sat a man cloaked in a scarlet robe, his entire form shrouded in his long hair as he slowly raised his head.

The man's body bore untold filth and curses. Upon closer examination,

one would find his body akin to a giant movie screen depicting the collapse and doom of a world.

The Thousand Calamities Doomsday, king of the Ghost God Realm, the true ruler.

"Demon Lord, we meet again," replied the Thousand Calamities Doomsday.

"It's been a while. You've grown much stronger, but it's still not enough."

"No rush, I am prepared. Haste makes waste," Xu Zimei replied with a smile.

"I do believe you, one day you shall succeed," replied the Thousand Calamities Doomsday.

"What brings you to me this time?"

"I'm headed to True Martial Mountain and thought I'd drop by to discuss matters with you," Xu Zimei responded.

"Please go ahead," Thousand Calamities Doomsday said.

Their interactions were never frequent, so Xu Zimei seeking him out surely indicated something significant.

Small matters could not warrant such discussions.

"I wish to challenge the heavens!"

"That, I am aware of."

"But before challenging the heavens, the Holy Court must be uprooted like thorns on a path," Xu Zimei replied.

"Thorns are prickly; not everyone has the skill to pluck them," laughed the Thousand Calamities Doomsday.

"If it were truly simple, our major factions wouldn't need to unite to fight the Holy Court's reign."

"An alliance is merely a tactical measure; the human heart is beyond prediction," Xu Zimei said.

"Today we form alliances, and tomorrow we might turn against each other; it is not a sustainable solution."

"Of course I'm aware, but what is one to do," replied the Thousand Calamities Doomsday.

Both were probing each other, but Xu Zimei was the first to speak.

"During my heaven challenge, I seek crew for this ship of creating a new world. Would you be interested in joining?" Xu Zimei asked.

"You want us to help you fight the Holy Court," laughed the Thousand Calamities Doomsday.

"That might be difficult; success would be ideal, but what if we fail and fall into the abyss of no return?"

"Wrong. Helping me is helping yourselves. You feel the Holy Court growing stronger, have you already lost the ability to resist?" asked Xu Zimei.

"If we do not act soon, it might lead to our eventual extermination.

This ship offers a one-time chance.

Otherwise, once I settle accounts with the Holy Court, you shall be on the checklist too."

Upon hearing this, the Thousand Calamities Doomsday opened his eyes wide, shaking the entire space continuously.

A terrifying aura exploded from him.

"Rumble, rumble."

It felt as though the true apocalypse was upon them, boundless, with endless power emanating from around him.

He seemed like an ancient divine spirit, speaking with an authoritative voice: "Are you threatening me? Or us?"

"It's not a threat; just stating a fact.

If the world changes hands, I or the Demon Race behind me shall usher in a new Demon's Advent.

Then, the entirety of the Nine Domains shall be dominated, yet you hold the ruling positions in various worlds.

When power collides, someone must die. This world can have only one king, and that is me—the Demon King."

Xu Zimei replied calmly.

"If you choose to join me, you shall naturally have room to rule.

You must clarify one thing.

Helping me is not providing a lifeline but merely adding to the glory."

Xu Zimei spoke with no trace of fear, confronting the Thousand Calamities Doomsday with disdain.

Yet, his demeanor prompted laughter from the Thousand Calamities Doomsday.

"The Demon Lord is truly the Demon Lord, always so domineering."

"You want help from us, it's not impossible, but with your current strength, it's unlikely."

"No rush, I just wanted to inform you in advance, to let you know my intentions and offer a chance to prepare and choose."

Xu Zimei replied with a smile.

"Moreover, I don't plan to wage war against the Holy Court for now; still need some opportunities."

"Alright, Demon Lord, I shall keep your words in my heart. If you can tame us by then, serving you would be no issue," laughed the Thousand Calamities Doomsday.

Clearly, this is the benefit of power.

Xu Zimei's first visit to the Ghost God Realm saw this ruler unwilling to converse with him.

Upon his return, the Thousand Calamities Doomsday verbally agreed.

Should there be another visit, one might imagine the ruler bowing down.

Having conveyed his intentions after a brief chat with the Thousand Calamities Doomsday, Xu Zimei and Lin Ruhu departed.

True Martial Mountain wasn't far from here.

As the Nine Ghosts Academy is located at the center of the Ghost God Realm, this is the world's center point.

True Martial Mountain stands tall here, as the best choice.

After leaving the Nine Ghosts Academy, Lin Ruhu, who hadn't spoken a word, took a deep breath.

He said, "Zimei, one day I too shall become as strong as him."

"You will be stronger," Xu Zimei replied with a smile.

"Then I shall pave the way as your vanguard," Lin Ruhu said, patting his head and smiling.

"Let's head to True Martial Mountain," Xu Zimei laughed.

The True Martial Great Emperor is Lin Ruhu's idol, having grown up listening to tales of them.

True Martial Mountain isn't far from here, Xu Zimei and Lin Ruhu don't need to board a time-space shuttle; they can simply traverse the void.

Soon, the two saw a towering mountain peak, resembling a sharp sword piercing the clouds deep.

This True Martial Mountain is not simple today; it doesn't resemble its former decline.

Under the rule of the True Martial Great Emperor and other formidable figures, it has forcefully torn some reputation from the Ghost God Realm's grasp, yet the Thousand Calamities Doomsday was helpless.

Because he's not the True Martial Great Emperor's rival.

If not for the True Martial Great Emperor's dedication towards challenging the heavens with no territorial ambitions, the Ghost God Realm's fate might have changed.

The two stepped into the void, landing before the gate of the True Martial Holy Sect, a bustling crowd everywhere.

For the True Martial Holy Sect has become one of the largest factions in the Ghost God Realm.

As they approached the mountain gate, they were promptly greeted.
