Chapter 555: Fire Feather Mountain

The little tiger cub held out a chubby little finger, pointed at the sky, and then pointed at her own face.

“Face, face.”

Qiao Yi looked utterly bewildered, unable to understand what the little one was trying to say.

“Grandfather, none of us can understand what An’an is trying to say. Only Mo Yan can.”

Yun Qiong, who was eating enthusiastically, looked up at the mention of the name. “I almost forgot. There’s another cub named Mo Yan, right? Bring him along too.”

“Xixi wants us to bring Mo Yan?”

Qiao Yi didn’t know Qiao Xixi’s intentions, but since she had said so, there had to be a reason. He immediately sent someone to bring Mo Yan over.

Seeing that Qiao Yi hadn’t understood her, An’an wriggled off his lap in a huff. She stomped back to the table, grabbed the rest of the meat in her bowl, and stuffed it into her mouth.

“Grandfather, are we leaving to find Mother soon?”

After eating her fill, Xiya asked, her clear eyes wide.

Qiao Yi nodded. “If there’s anything you must bring, get it. But try to pack light. We’re leaving shortly.”

“Okay.”

The cubs all left the dining table and excitedly rushed upstairs to pack their things.

They had no idea what they would face on the way to Elephant Beast City; they were just happy that they would soon see their mother.

Feili sighed, his expression grim. Taking the cubs had become an unchangeable fact, so all he could do was figure out how to prepare thoroughly for them and ensure their safety as much as possible.

Feiyan also went to prepare food. If they were traveling alone, they might have been able to rush recklessly. But with the cubs, many things had to be considered carefully.

Soon, the cubs all came down carrying small bundles on their backs. Even the little tiger cub copied her older brothers and sisters, packing her treasures into the leather pouch Qiao Xixi had made for her and slinging it over her shoulder.

Having received the message, Mo Yan hurried over. He was also carrying a small bundle and walked up to Qiao Ang.

“Qiao Ang, where are we going?”

Qiao Ang’s large eyes were bright with excitement. “We’re setting off to find Mother.”

Mo Yan was even more confused. ‘Why would they need me to help find the Clan Leader?’

Qiao Xixi’s plan was to get to Fire Feather Mountain first and wait for Sunxiao and the cubs there. After they rendezvoused, they would all travel to Elephant Beast City together.

After a simple breakfast, Qiao Xixi jumped onto Yun Ji’s back.

Yun Ji gave a few gentle flaps of his wings and soared into the sky.

Jin Ling and the others followed one after another.

The wind in the sky was strong, and Qiao Xixi was almost completely buried in Yun Ji’s smooth feathers.
