Chapter 183: Chapter 180: A Crushing Victory

Looking at the savage giant white bear, Moras finally understood why Blue Whale Town had been renamed White Bear Town.

With a single ferocious blow, the Thunderous White Bear had instantly crippled half the Knights.

This included not only Junior Knights, but also Middle Knights.

Moras was truly breaking down.

’This ferocious white bear... its strength is definitely at the Peak of Bronze Level!’

"It seems my companion is a bit stronger..."

Vili tilted his head, giving Moras a faint smile.

Then, in a flash, Vili’s figure shot toward Moras.

A ring of white frost materialized around Vili. The surface of the Cross Sword in his hand was covered in patterns of ice, like engravings that lent a touch of nobility to its sharp edge.

With a single wave of his hand, Vili sent a blast of Frost Sword Qi shooting toward Moras.

Moras immediately felt an intense chill.

The hand gripping his Knight’s Lance instantly began to feel stiff.

He quickly circulated his Fighting Spirit to dispel the chill.

’This isn’t a newly promoted Senior Knight, but a Senior Knight at his peak! He’s only a step away from becoming a Grand Knight!’

To wield the Power of Nature with such subtlety and intensity was something almost comparable to a Junior Mage.

This could only mean that Baron Vili had grasped the Frost Knight’s path of nature to the absolute pinnacle for a Knight.

’So geniuses who defy all logic really do exist in this world.’

Moras had no time to think. The Frost Sword Qi was right in front of his face, and he had to fight back now.

A pale-yellow layer of earth and rock suddenly coated the surface of the Knight’s Lance in Moras’s hand. With a single-handed swing, he met Vili’s Frost Sword Qi in a direct collision.

’The same Earth Element attribute as Benduin...’

Vili muttered to himself.

However, although they were both Earth Element attributes, their fundamental nature was different.

A Knight’s Elemental Power is determined by the Knight’s Breathing Technique they practice. Its applications are relatively simple, mostly serving to augment their Fighting Spirit. A Mage’s Elemental Power, on the other hand, is determined by talent. As their level increases, their methods of application become far more diverse.

’I’m no match for him!’

After the clash, Moras instantly understood the situation.

They were both Senior Knights, but in terms of his application of Elemental Attributes and the intensity of his Fighting Spirit, he was a whole tier below the young Baron Vili.

Watching his men being pinned down by the Thunderous White Bear and the Holy Spear Ranger, unable to even get back on their feet, Moras’s heart sank even further.

’How did it come to this? This shouldn’t be happening!’

After their surprise attack on Kuangjin City, they had casually ravaged nearly ten Baron’s Domains along the way and even beaten the town guard of a small Viscount’s territory to the brink of collapse.

’But now, for the final target, a tiny Baron’s Domain they had fully prepared to annihilate... they hadn’t even taken a single step inside, and they were about to be... completely wiped out?’

Moras felt as if he were trapped in a dream.

But Vili charged and attacked again, and the bone-chilling cold reminded him that this was not a dream.

This was a cold, hard reality.

SWISH! SWISH!

Two more blasts of Frost Sword Qi flew out as Vili closed in.

The combat techniques granted by the Title Attribute Panel were now on perfect display.

Moras, the leader of the invincible cavalry troop, was now being beaten so badly he couldn’t even lift his head.

He could only defend passively. Every time he tried to gather his Fighting Spirit for a counterattack, he failed without exception.

Baron Vili’s attacks were simply too fluid, as flawless as a flowing stream, with no pause or hesitation.

SCHLICK!

Vili seized an opening in Moras’s defense and drove his Cross Sword straight into his right chest.

Vili had deliberately avoided his heart; otherwise, the blade would have pierced it.

Frost spread from Vili’s blade into Moras’s body. Moras felt his pain fade away as his entire body grew stiff and numb.

’I’ve lost. Utterly and completely.’

Moras had completely lost his ability to fight.

Vili did not kill Moras, deciding instead to capture him alive.

’Handing Moras over to Count Lumbar seems like a good choice.’

"Stop wasting time. Finish them all off."

Vili shouted the reminder at Wally and Benduin, who were still dawdling.

Wally was obviously dragging things out, toying with his opponents like a cat with a mouse.

As for Benduin, he was following behind Wally, landing the killing blows.

Although he was quite strong, he couldn’t contend with several Junior and Middle Knights at once.

After receiving Vili’s command, Wally let out a low roar.

The six-pointed sigil in his eyes spun in reverse, and faint blue sparks of electricity began to dance.

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH!

In mid-air, clusters of azure electricity bloomed and cascaded down like rain, striking the last ten or so survivors and blasting them into bloody messes.

"Violence is merely a tool of Justice. Bloodshed is not the transgression; sin is."

The Holy Spear Ranger, Benduin, spoke the words aloud to himself.

Vili pursed his lips but didn’t respond.

In some ways, Benduin and Colson were quite similar.

"Benduin, tie this guy up, then find some people to clean up the battlefield."

Vili gave Moras, who was lying nearby, a kick and ordered Benduin.

"Yes, Lord Baron!"

Benduin walked over, looked at Moras, who was too stiff to move, and spat fiercely. "I will put an end to your wickedness!"

’The enemies at sea...’

Vili glanced at the horizon. The sun had almost completely set, and a full moon was rising. ’They should be taken care of by now, right?’

...

「At sea.」

Five large ships kept their distance from the coast.
