I Summon Female Knights

Chapter 62: Weaving Magic and Microchips

The subterranean levels of The Iron Spire were usually defined by the quiet, eternal hum of ancient stone and unrefined void-dross, but today, the vaulted chamber housing the royal treasury echoed with an entirely different kind of vibration... the high-pitched, whirring whine of quantum server fans, liquid-cooling pumps, and heavy-duty industrial diesel generators.

The four massive steel crates Raphael had transported from the Sector 9 shipping docks were unpacked. Their contents were two quantum server racks, optical-fiber routing units, military-grade satellite uplink dishes, and compact power generators carefully arranged across the polished black marble floor.

Raphael stood before the complex hardware assembly, his eyes studying the delicate microchips and glowing fiber-optic cables with calm, analytical detachment. He was speaking with the system in his mind.

Beside him stood Vanessa, her long silk robes brushing the floorboards as she raised her dark relic-staff. The tip of the staff pulsed with a deep, gravitational violet light, casting long, shifting shadows across the towering server racks.

"The hardware is formidable, my Lord," Vanessa noted, her silk-like voice cutting through the steady whine of the cooling fans. "However, Earth’s technology operates on electrical currents and binary frequencies. This citadel operates entirely on spatial mana and divine Sovereign authority. If we connect these machines to the domain without a proper buffer, the ambient mana pressure alone will instantly fry their circuits."

"That’s why I brought you down here," Raphael said, his deep baritone steady. "We aren’t just plugging them in. We are fusing them. The system says it’s possible."

Raphael stepped closer to the primary server rack, lifting his right hand. The sleek, dark leather of his gauntlets hummed with magnetic potential as he channeled a precise, microscopic stream of his Sovereign’s Veil.

Instead of an explosive wave of power, he focused his energy into a razor-thin, insulating mesh of silvery-violet mana. He wrapped the delicate electronic components in the protective veil, shielding the sensitive copper wiring and quantum processors from the harsh, high-frequency void-radiation of the domain.

"Vanessa," Raphael instructed, "anchor the gravitational buffer around the power units. Make sure the mana-diesel generators draw their kinetic ignition directly from the dungeon core’s secondary output rather than raw fuel."

"Understood, Sovereign," Vanessa replied smoothly.

She swung her relic-staff in a fluid, circular arc. A dense, swirling ring of dark gravity-mana materialized around the two heavy generators, sealing them within an airtight, hyper-stable containment field. The sputtering roar of the diesel engines instantly smoothed out into a quiet, efficient hum that vibrated gently through the stone floor.

With the power stabilized and the electrical components shielded by mana, Raphael turned his attention to the central data router. He pulled a thick, fiber-optic uplink cable from the server rack and walked over to the ancient, rune-carved stone pillar that connected directly to the Domain’s primary core.

He pressed the optical cable’s connector directly against the glowing runic nodes of the dungeon core.

A sudden, blinding flash of golden and silvery-violet light erupted from the dungeon core, traveling down the fiber-optic cable and flooding the server racks. The front panels of the quantum servers lit up in a cascade of brilliant blue and green indicator lights as millions of lines of code, network protocols, and cryptographic keys automatically synchronized with the system architecture.

The mechanical whirring of the cooling fans suddenly deepened into a harmonious, high-speed hum.

A massive, translucent holographic window expanded across the chamber, floating in mid-air before Raphael and Vanessa.

Instead of showing dungeon layouts or combat metrics, the display projected a high-resolution, three-dimensional satellite map of the entire globe, zooming in rapidly through the clouds, down through the atmosphere, and settling over the glittering, neon-lit skyline of Jiston.

Hundreds of tiny, glowing data-nodes flickered across the map, representing every active satellite, cellular tower, police cruiser, and corporate security terminal across the city.

Raphael stepped forward, towering over the holographic display. With a simple swipe of his hand, he filtered the data layers, stripping away public internet traffic and civilian feeds until only high-security government and military channels remained.

"Magnificent," Vanessa whispered, her violet eyes reflecting the glowing blue code scrolling across the screen. "We are no longer isolated within this realm."

Raphael stared at the data streams with a cold, calculated expression. The vast sea of information flowing through the server racks gave him something far more dangerous than adamantine blades or C-tier minions: total, unmitigated situational awareness.

"Show me Sector 9," Raphael commanded quietly.

The holographic map instantly shifted, zooming past the industrial docks and closing in on the rain-slicked streets of Sector 9, Jiston.

A small, blinking red icon appeared on the screen, marking a covert Bureau surveillance van parked three blocks away from the abandoned railway yard where Raphael’s secret Waypoint Gate was anchored. Attached to the icon was a live video feed and encrypted audio transcription.

Raphael watched as the holographic feed displayed Officer Elena sitting inside the dimly lit surveillance van, reviewing thermal scans of the district while talking through a secure tactical comms channel to Captain Vale.

"They’re still watching the sector," Raphael noted, a faint, cold smile touching the corner of his lips. "They think they’re hunting a ghost, while we’ve turned their entire digital city into an open book."

"Shall we eliminate the surveillance unit, my Lord?" Vanessa asked, her hand tightening around her relic-staff as a dark, dangerous aura flickered in her eyes. "The Warmaster and the Shadow-Guards can breach their perimeter within minutes."

"No," Raphael replied, raising his hand to halt her. "Let them watch. Let them think they’re making progress. A blind enemy panics; an enemy who thinks they are in control lowers their guard."

Raphael turned away from the glowing holographic matrix, his dark void-silk coat sweeping softly around his boots as he faced the grand expanse of the vault. The fortress was no longer just an isolated refuge floating in an infinite purple void. It was an untouchable command center with its roots buried deep in the digital veins of Earth.

"Keep the servers running, Vanessa," Raphael ordered, his deep baritone ringing with absolute, unshakeable authority. "It’s time to see what else Captain Vale is hiding from the Bureau board."
