"Was the man an Exotic Beast Hunter?" Wang Jing asked.

The reason she assumed he was an Exotic Beast Hunter was that if he had been an Investigator, their superiors would have informed them.

But on their way here by helicopter, they had received no news of a Peak Second Order Investigator already being on site.

Fighting a Peak Second Order Mutant Beast in the dead of night, out in the perilous wilderness... besides an Exotic Beast Hunter from the Exotic Beast Hunter Guild, it was hard to imagine who else would do such a thing.
