Chapter 600: Chapter 380: Like and Dislike, a Double Entendre

"Alright, so it’s settled," Su Yue said with a cheerful laugh. "We’ll rest for a bit, and once the sun isn’t so harsh, we’ll head out to the campsite."

"Uh..." Lin Li looked at Su Yue in surprise. "What?" he asked, completely bewildered. "You mean we’re leaving to go camping later *today*?"

"Yep! Is there a problem?"

"I thought when you said you wanted to go camping, you meant next weekend! After all, we don’t even have the most basic necessity: a tent."

"Oh, the tent! I already took care of that. It arrived last night. Come on, let me show you the tent I bought online."

As she spoke, Su Yue turned and walked out of the kitchen. A look of surprise on his face, Lin Li untied his apron, hung it on a hook on the wall, and followed her.

They left the kitchen and went into the study. There, Lin Li saw the floor covered with all sorts of things—not just a tent, but a wide variety of other camping gear.

"See? I’m pretty well-prepared for our camping trip, aren’t I?" Su Yue said smugly, looking at the stunned Lin Li.

Lin Li stared at the small table, little stools, lamps, tent, sleeping bags, a small hatchet, a moisture-proof mat, gloves, and all the other camping necessities on the floor. He realized Su Yue had come prepared; she must have had this idea for a long time.

"It’s very thorough," Lin Li said. "Let me ask you, when did you first get the idea to go camping?"

"It started the day we got back from our trip to Qiong City. The idea to go camping just suddenly popped into my head, so I started planning to find a good time to go."

"Since then, I’ve been doing some research online and gradually getting all the gear we need," Su Yue said, thinking back.

"Alright! Since you’ve prepared everything, let’s do as you say," Lin Li said. "We’ll rest for a bit, wait for the hottest part of the day to pass, then go buy some groceries before heading to the campsite."

"Hee hee..." Su Yue laughed. "I’ve already prepared all the food we’ll need, too! We just need to pack up in a little while and we can head straight to the campsite."

"You’ve really thought of everything! If I hadn’t wanted to go with you, were you planning on going by yourself?" Lin Li asked curiously.

"Going alone would be no fun at all! Besides, I knew you’d come with me," Su Yue said confidently, an expression on her face that said she had everything under control.

"So confident? How did you know I’d agree to go?" Lin Li asked, surprised.

"If I went camping in the suburbs by myself, would you be able to relax?" Su Yue retorted, her bright eyes twinkling as she gazed at Lin Li.

"Uh..." After hearing her question, Lin Li instantly understood why she had been so certain he would go camping with her.

It was just as Su Yue had predicted. He knew that she not only wanted to go camping, but specifically to a spot in the suburbs, close to the wilderness.

If he didn’t go with her and she insisted on going anyway, he definitely wouldn’t be able to rest easy with her camping in a place like that by herself. In the end, he was bound to go along.

"Why aren’t you saying anything? I’m asking you! If I went camping in the suburbs alone, would you be able to relax?" Su Yue pressed when Lin Li didn’t answer.

"But you’re not going alone now, are you? So what’s there to answer?" Lin Li muttered, pursing his lips.

Seeing his reaction, Su Yue knew the answer was self-evident. A smile as radiant as a flower bloomed on her face, bright and captivating.

"What are you smiling at?" Lin Li asked, confused by her broad smile.

"Nothing. I just feel like smiling!" Su Yue said happily.

’Women are impossible to figure out,’ Lin Li grumbled to himself. Then, his gaze fell on the single tent on the floor. "Why did you only buy one?" he asked.

"One is enough!"

"But there are two of us."

"The one I bought is large. It can sleep four people."

"Uh... Fine."

"Alright, enough about that. I have something for you," Su Yue said, changing the subject.

"What? What are you giving me?" Lin Li asked curiously.

Su Yue walked over to a bookshelf in the study, took down a brand-new photo album, and handed it to Lin Li.

"This is...?" Lin Li took the album and opened it. The first thing he saw was a photo of the two of them together at the beach.

The background was a vast, azure sea under a sky dotted with white clouds and circling seagulls. On the soft sand, the expression on Lin Li’s face was one of pure resignation, while Su Yue clung to his arm, leaning against him with a heart-stopping smile.

"We took a lot of photos during our trip to Qiong City. After we got back, I picked some out and had them developed."

"The shop owner let me know they were ready last night, so I went to pick them up this morning. There are two copies of the album. This one is for you," Su Yue explained.

’During the Qiong City trip, I barely took any pictures of myself. It was always you asking me to take pictures of *you*. So, I bet most of the photos in this album are just your solo shots,’ Lin Li glanced at Su Yue and grumbled to himself.

He flipped through the album, and sure enough, it was just as he’d thought. The first few pages contained his few solo pictures and the photos of them together. The rest were almost entirely solo shots of Su Yue.
