I See the Aura of the Great Emperor in All My Disciples

Chapter 1947: Mu Fusheng Joins the Immortal Realm?

Chapter 1947: Chapter 1947: Mu Fusheng Joins the Immortal Realm?

This is how Mu Fusheng always fights.

When he makes his move, he’s already anticipated several steps ahead—how his opponent will act next, and how he’ll counter each move.

Like right now, the leading man in black charges straight at Mu Fusheng and throws a powerful punch.

Mu Fusheng, having already prepared a Nine Thunder Shield Talisman for defense, instantly slaps two talismans—one on the attacker’s striking wrist, another between his shoulder blades.

The talisman on the wrist is meant to break the enemy’s offensive, while the one on the back aims to deliver a lethal blow!

Clearly, the man in black stutters; a look of shock can be seen under his hood.

He’s astonished at Mu Fusheng’s combat technique and acute awareness.

Mu Fusheng is a bit surprised himself—the Nine Thunder Shield Talisman before him ripples under the punch, then fissures spread all over it, and it shatters!

One punch was all it took to smash a Nine Thunder Shield Talisman.

And that’s even when his hand was held back by a talisman.

It seems this guy’s status in the Immortal Realm can’t be low. He must be a Realm God Realm expert, suppressed down to Domain God Realm!

As Mu Fusheng retreats, he sees the man in black doesn’t pursue. Instead, the black cloak comes flying off into the air, with the talisman on his back exploding in midair along with it!

Thunder booms!

Mu Fusheng, holding Jiu Bailu by the waist, lands on a higher branch, eyes fixed on the exposed face of the man in black.

His features are chiseled as if carved with an axe and blade, a bloody scar streaks across his forehead, and his pupils shine gold.

This man wasn’t in the information he’d gathered.

Not in his master’s intelligence, either.

But there was one crucial thing his master mentioned: he’d seen only eleven of the Main Gods, and one of them had never shown himself before.

Based on the strength this man was displaying...

Mu Fusheng called out loudly, "Senior, you must be one of the Twelve Main Gods, am I right?"

The man raised an eyebrow. "Oh? You’ve seen me before?"

Mu Fusheng shook his head. "It’s just that a senior with your level of power wouldn’t be unknown in the Immortal Realm."

"Smart. No wonder you’ve got such refined combat instincts." The man nodded slightly. "With your ability, you’re at least as strong as the Goddess herself—maybe even stronger. Seems a real prodigy’s emerged from the lower realm... What do you say? Come join the Immortal Realm?"

Recruitment?

Mu Fusheng smiled, cupped his fists and said, "I appreciate your offer, senior. But, I heard people from the Lower Five Realms don’t exactly get treated well in the Immortal Realm."

The man scowled.

By now, the sea of lightning caged by talismans was finally dissipating, leaving only drifting nine-colored currents crackling through the air.

The ground was left barren.

Among them, four men in black had completely vanished—reduced to ash!

The remaining five were all badly wounded. From the look of it, after the Main God bore the brunt of the attack, they’d managed to survive only with the aid of magic treasures.

Clearly, Mu Fusheng’s words hadn’t gone unheard.

Except for the man with the spear, the other four locked their eyes right onto Mu Fusheng.

One glance told Mu Fusheng—these four must be men from the Lower Five Realms hoping to join the Immortal Realm themselves, and with pretty high status down there at that...

The man asked, uncertain, "How did you know?"

Mu Fusheng didn’t get to answer.

The man continued, shaking his head, "Anyone the Dragon Elephant Main God brings up to the Upper World serves under me. Aside from the Main Gods or Heavenly Gods, who else would dare order you around?"

Truth be told, the Dragon Elephant Main God was smart. In one sentence, he made Mu Fusheng an offer—and reassured everyone else’s loyalty all at once.

"My time’s short. Either die, or follow me, and your future will be limitless." The Dragon Elephant Main God fixed his gaze on Mu Fusheng, saying coldly, "Your talent will go even further in the Immortal Realm. Don’t take the wrong path..."

He seemed to consider it, and at last Mu Fusheng nodded. "Very well. I agree to join. But I want to bring my wife along."

Jiu Bailu looked at Mu Fusheng but said nothing.

The Dragon Elephant Main God finally broke a smile, nodding, "Smart people go farther. Fine, come over here."

Mu Fusheng feigned confusion. "What is it?"

"Anyone from the Lower Five Realms entering the Immortal Realm must have the Immortal Realm’s imprint put on their soul." The Dragon Elephant Main God raised a brow. "What, you’re unwilling?"

Mu Fusheng shook his head. "Not unwilling, it’s just..."

At this point, the wariness in the Dragon Elephant Main God’s eyes eased a bit. "Don’t worry. As long as you don’t betray the Immortal Realm, the restriction won’t activate."

Hearing that, Mu Fusheng seemed reassured, and stepped proactively closer.

Seeing him approach, the Dragon Elephant Heavenly God placed his hand on Mu Fusheng’s forehead, golden light streaming from his fingertips into Mu Fusheng’s brow.

Behind them, the man in black with the spear let out a faint sigh of relief.

The other four also lowered their guard, put away their magic treasures, and swallowed healing medicinal pills.

Just as the Dragon Elephant Main God’s smile grew more obvious—

Mu Fusheng’s eyes snapped open, and at his brow, an intense golden light erupted!

The Dragon Elephant Main God’s face changed dramatically!

He instantly leapt back to retreat!

But even so, sword qi sharp enough to tear heaven and earth came slashing down on the Dragon Elephant Main God. Only by twisting his body aside did he avoid a fatal blow, but the sword qi cut clean through his left arm!

No one on the scene had seen this coming; their faces were frozen in terror—except Jiu Bailu...

Jiu Bailu understood Mu Fusheng—he’d never bow to the Immortal Realm. And there was only one reason to go this far: use the restriction Lu Chang’sheng left in Mu Fusheng’s sea of consciousness and trigger it as soon as the Dragon Elephant Main God tried to impose his own!

That way, Mu Fusheng could assassinate the Dragon Elephant Main God.

Seeing the other man had only lost an arm, Mu Fusheng cursed his luck.

He’d hoped to kill the Dragon Elephant Main God outright, so the rest would be even easier to handle.

After all, his hundreds of talismans had barely held off their power—how could they withstand the thousands stored in his interspatial ring?

Just then, the black-cloaked man holding the spear gasped, "Impossible! With the Dragon Elephant Main God’s physical strength, how could he lose an arm? He’s the Immortal Realm’s number one body cultivator!"

The Dragon Elephant Main God’s face went pale, cold sweat soaking his back.

If he hadn’t turned to avoid a vital spot, or if the enemy’s sword qi had kept coming, he would’ve died for sure.

"Who left that restriction in your sea of consciousness?"

The sense of complete powerlessness against that sword qi—the Dragon Elephant Main God had only ever felt that before three of the Heavenly Gods, and maybe... even someone higher...

Mu Fusheng didn’t answer.

He’d said so much to the Dragon Elephant Main God just to lure him step by step into his trap.

But now?

When your enemy’s wounded, finish the job!

What’s the point of talking any more!
