Chapter 238: Second Year Student, Lara!

“Is this the house of one of the wealthy family in this city?” He muttered a question while scanning the entire building with his eyes. His pupils suddenly widened, covering every corner of his eyes as they looked like they glazed were over by a shade of grey matter.

All of a sudden, Tyrion’s vision changed. The surrounding walls were instantly stripped off their color and visibility as they immediately turned see through. This wasn’t the first time Tyrion successfully used this ability.

Elated, he smiled brightly as he stared at the now see-through building. He immediately noticed a location where his x-ray vision couldn’t see. Almost at the same time, two popping sounds echoed along with the spurting of blood and bodily fluids in the air. His eyes had exploded.

Sure enough, he still failed. “I lasted five seconds this time.” Tyrion grinned brilliantly, the cells in his eyes rapidly generating new tissues and not a even five minutes later, both of his eyes were fully healed. He morphed back into his human form.

Despite the incredible size of the mansion, Tyrion’s was able to accurately remember the exact spot where his X-ray couldn’t peer through. After numerous twists and turns, he finally entered a large and well decorated and triangular looking bedroom.

Opposite the door, was the air-bed which was installed at the angle point of triangular room. From what he remembered, the location of the safe should be behind one of the walls.

There should be some sort of hidden mechanism to open the path to the safe, but Tyrion’s wasn’t a particular patient person.

His arms trembled with incredible strength as he punched at the wall.

“Bang!”

Spiderweb shape cracks spread across the entire wall before it burst apart into pole of bricks and rubbles, revealing the hidden vault.

The vault was actually big unlike one would expect. It was actually three meters tall and seven meters wide when Tyrion pryed it out out of the wall and it was considerably well built as the metal casing was incredibly hard. A glass like platform was at the surface of the vault which was the omly means to open the vault.

“Seems like a genetic lock.” Tyrion muttered, looking a bit disturbed. The genetic lock is a security system that even the strength of Demonic warrior is unable to unlock, not to mention him with barely the strength of a Super soldier.

Suddenly, Tyrion frowned slightly. The indicator on the lock was still green which meant it wasn’t in on a permanent lock meaning the owner of the Vault was still alive and within the kilometer range of the mansion instead.

“He’s still here?” He had searched the entire mansion with his xray sight and only saw severed skeletons and bodies but didn’t see anyone intact and alive. If there was, the large snake should have consumed them to build its energy.

The only place he couldn’t see through was the inside vault and which means there was actually someone alive within the vault. This made Tyrion frown as it was going to be incredibly difficult getting the person within the vault to open up.

He or she had most likely stock up enough food to last a few months or even a year depending on the person.

Just as Tyrion was wondering on how he should open the vault, his ears flickered and his eyes seem to peer through the wall as he listened.

“There’s someone else here.”

He immediately lowered his breathing and waited. The soft sound of footstep in the silent mansion was like a one beating a drum.

While it was soft, the silence in the mansion made it sound loud.

The foot step got closer and closer to Tyrion’s location. About a hundred meters away from each other, the footstep suddenly stopped and a light giggle echoed from the hall way.

Tyrion’s eyes twitched and he immediately retreated back. From the walls, a bullet pierced through the wall like it was made of clay, pushing towards Tyrion with incredible speed. In the nick of time, he managed to shift his head. A bit of his hair fell off as the bullet grazed past his head.

“Don’t you find it embarrassing hiding in the dark, from a lady?” The voice sounded like the chirping of birds and twinkling bells all together as they bounced off the wall, caressing Tyrion’s ears.

Tyrion felt his heart slightly moved.

He raised an eyebrow. Her attainment in the female seductive technique was definitely higher very high.

He responded back. “Nothing is embarrassing at the face of danger.”

“Are you saying I’m dangerous? I don’t think you have anything to worry about, Tyrion. I think you are far more dangerous than you let on.”

Tyrion was slightly surprised she was able to recognize who he was despite his effort to conceal himself. He exited the room, closing the door behind as he dusted his shirt.

“What are you doing here? Lara.” He asked, keeping his expression incredibly casual. The vault was still in the room, he didn’t want anyone getting to know that there was actually a vault within the mansion as things would get increasingly difficult.

The had discussed previously when he met her practicing by her self on the Legend Mountain. He didn’t think he would meet her again so soon with how enormous the entire city was.

Lara’s hair swayed as she stepped towards Tyrion. “I think you know why I’m here.”

Tyrion stared at the gun in her hand and frowned at how brazen this girl was.

The confidence she exuded was alarming as though she wasn’t afraid of him nor anyone. He could understand where she got her confidence from as was a Second year student, but ?at wasn’t enough to deter him.

She is most likely confident in her strength. But this made Tyrion laugh coldly inside. It doesn’t matter what she relied on but if she dared pull any tricks, he wouldn’t hold back either.

“You should go back. Since I found the vault first, it belongs to me Now. You wouldn’t want to fight me over it right?”

Lara’s footsteps slowed and she stopped about ten meters away from Tyrion. From the stilled flow of air in the hall way, the fragrance caused by the female technique passively in her body wafted into his nose.

Her large eyes stared directly at Tyrion, maintaining the eye contact for what seen to be a minute before she let out a slight sigh and backed down.

“There’s no need to be hostile. Since you know about the vault, then it’s yours. But the vault uses a Genetic Lock, and is likely resistant to forces less than 30,000 Newton. Do you have a way to open the vault?” The arrogant smirk on her face returned as she asked.

Tyrion’s eyes narrowed. How did she even know the vault was here and exactly how did she know the type of lock it was using?

“Why don’t we do this, I help you unlock the vault and I get half of the items inside.”

Tyrion stared at her, his face in a slight frown as thoughts flickered through his mind, then he spoke indifferently. “You should go back.”

Tyrion cerebrated over his conversation with Lara. Her idea for them to cooperate was actually very enticing. Her plans to raid the treasures of the rich folks was even more enticing to Tyrion who really needs energy to boost his strength.

With the connections of her family, she has all of the information about the various wealthy families within the city including the mayor’s mansion and the council members houses.

But those are off limit since the second year and third year would fight for it, definitely not let it be taken from them.

But in this type of academy, one couldn’t be overly too careful which was why he told her he would think about it. MvLeMpYr-exclusive

She is obviously from a well off family since she her family could help with such information over this little bit of time that had trespassed.

If Tyrion wished to obtain such information, he would need to buy the information from the academy for an astronomical amount of price; a million blood points, something

Tyrion lacked at this point.

Autonomously clicking his fingers to the arm rest, he stopped deliberating and typed a message.

Tyrion squinted his eyes, she slightly indicated that she would depend entirely on his protection, in exchange for the information she possess, but Tyrion knew it definitely wasn’t as simply as she claimed it was.

But no matter the situation that pop up in the future, he wasn’t afraid. While he hadn’t familiarized himself with some of his techniques, he was most confident in his strength. In the face of absolute strength, all tricks are rendered useless.

Lara’s expression changed slightly. “Without my help, it’s impossible for you to open the vault.”

Tyrion casually looked at her and said offhandedly. “There’s no need for you to worry about it, I will figure it myself.”

Lara’s beautiful face was expressionless as she stared at him with some sort of glare. It appears this vault was very important to her than which is more reason for Tyrion to keep it to himself.

“70-30, that’s the least I can go, if you still don’t accept it, then you shouldn’t blame me for being ruthless.”

Her face turned cold as she radiated massive amount of waves from her body, she was actually prepared to fight I’ve eit with Tyrion.

Tyrion tilted his head and a smirk formed in his lips. “You actually want to fight me over the vault? It seems it’s more important to you than I thought. Alright, 70-30 it is only on one condition.”

“Which is?”

“I get to choose among the loot first.”

Lara’s face turned more intense as she glared savagely at Tyrion. “Don’t push it Tyrion.”

Tyrion’s cold laughter resounded within the hall. “I shouldn’t push it? I don’t think you have the right to tell me that since I cane here first.”
