Chapter 102: Final Relic
Grant was the first to recognize the technique as he was also a student of Death Gate Academy.
“Ultima state of Demonic Blood technique? How’s that possible!?” His pupils constricted as he stared at the 2.7 meters tall Tyrion in shock.
Wasn’t it said that it was close to impossible to advance in this technique because of its ruthless and self infliction requirement.
How come a random year one student was able to gain the Beast morph ability.
“That’s right I heard something about the first year prime reaching the Ultima state in four techniques.”
“The first should be the basic Nine Saber Style Technique, the second should be the motion technique he’s currently using while the third should be the Demonic Blood Cell Tempering Art, then the fourth technique should be some sort of forbidden art, raising his strength at the risk of destroying his body.”
In just a blink of an eye, Grant had deduced Tyrion’s technique. The more he thought about it, the thicker the killing intent in his eyes.
Gerald was also quite shocked at Tyrion’s current appearance. His brows furrowed in thought, but that didn’t reduce his speed in the slightest.
He rushed forward, pushing past the seventh statue and heading straight for the sixth.
Tyrion’s muscles oscillated and his hair swayed without wind as his power rippled through his crimson body.
Just as the raging earth quake was about to reach him, he clenched his two paws to form a large fist tightly and immediately punched at the ground.
“BOOM!”
The ground instantly caved in as an immense force rumbled through the entire ground.
Like a violent tide, the entire ground shook and quaked as an immense force of thousands of kilograms was transmitted through his fists and into the ground.
The force of his fist transmitted into the ground made the ground shake, turning into a tide that spread outwards, slamming into the earthquake Gerald had sent his way.
Two earth quakes colliding into each other. Two separate massive vector forces slamming into each other.
“KABOOM!”
The force of the blast pushed Tyrion forwards as he rolled on the ground, his feet kicking against the sandy floor as he leapt back upwards.
With a single stomp of his massive paw-like feet on the ground, Tyrion transformed into a blur, rushing forwards with godlike speed.
At this point, Gerald was helpless against Tyrion and was especially reluctant against using his third Super gene at this moment.
The third super cell he had absorbed from his family, was an ancient progenitor super cell dialed down from his ancestors. Not even his grandfather who showed remarkable talent was able to control it, not to mention he who hadn’t even reached the Demonic Warrior stage.
If rashly activated, the situation would spiral control and the even he would be bale to control the outcome of the situation.
Gerald was hesitant and hence activated the fourth super cell he had received from floors below.
[Overdrive! ]
“RUMBLE!!!”
“SCREECH!!!”
The wind howled as though some sort of force was tearing it apart, with constant sonic booms echoing, Gerald was like a fire arrow. Although his speed was currently fast, he still wasn’t able to catch up to Tyrion at this rate and could only watch as Tyrion reached the fourth statue.
Now matter how fast he was, Tyrion was always one statue ahead of him. The gap was around 500 meters. While this sort of distance could be covered in a few steps by Super soldiers, the increasing pressure from each of the statues slowed them down incredibly.
Time passed and when Tyrion reached the vicinity of the third statue, the other doors opened up and a few individuals rushed out from it.
Shockingly, it was those from Starburn academy. It seemed they were either hiding their strength or possess some sort of treasure to aid clear the floors.
Seeing the treasures, they immediately sort to loot them.
After some time, others too began to enter this dimension, making Tyrion wonder just how they passed through Adam Smasher.
The pressure from the third statue got so strong Tyrion’s speed reduced drastically.
Now, he was moving no faster than a jog and his knees creaked and buckled under pressure from the statue.
This particular statue was that of a gigantic spider that was about a thousand meters tall. Its legs were like pillars as they dig deep into the ground, while its mouth contained several sharp rows of teeth and three sets of pincers, looking similar to that of an elephant’s tusk.
Between its tusk was a treasure, emanating an intense amount of energy. It was unlike anything Tyrion had ever seen or sensed before.
The treasure halo glowed so brightly it made Tyrion gulped visibly. From its shape, it seemed to be some type of super cell. If it was an attack type super cell, then it would sell for an astronomical amount of price in the alliance.
Should he just take this treasure and forget about the main final treasure? Even if he got the main treasure, he would still need to fight with the others in order to keep the treasure.
Hence, the most logical thing to do was to forget about the main treasure and try his best to loot the treasures from the other 20 statues.
But then Tyrion’s gaze hardened. He had never followed logic in the first place. Moreover, even if he took the other treasures who’s to say it would remain his once he left the alternate dimension?
Right now, once the outside world realize the blood moon descended in this dimensional zone; New Undead Ancient city, every power would surely be waiting outside the zone.
Various academies from the righteous academy alliance, the demonic academy alliance, and other powerful organizations and temples.
There’s no way they would let this opportunity pass. While the powerhouses couldn’t enter themselves they would send their most talented and powerful Super soldiers into the zone.
It’s only a matter of time before they reach the core of the dimension and reach Arasaka Tower.
If that happens, then the probability of hoarding any treasure would be close to impossible. No matter how powerful he was, cross-killing peak level super soldier with 7 super cells was impossible.
This only meant that there wasn’t much time left and if he wanted to take any treasure before they arrive, he would take the best one.
Retracting his gaze from the treasure, Tyrion continued moving forward strenuously. Gritting his teeth, he moved step by step and eventually left the third statues behind and reached the vicinity of the second statues.
As he took a single step to the vicinity of the second statues, Tyrion’s knees directly shattered as an immense force blasted him to the ground.
“You are only a dead statue. It’s still not enough to me back!”
“Hmph!”
Snorting coldly, Tyrion immediately got down on all fours like a true beast. His nails digging deep into the ground as he exerted all the strength in his body.
And like a true tiger, he sprinted toward the second statues and even managed to arrive before them.
The second statue was a creature Tyrion hadn’t seen before. Its shape was like that of a sloth, but it had several tentacles as large as a bridge connected to its back.
Its body was hunched down, drastically reducing its height but the terror it exuded was frightening.
Without his will power strengthened by the various grave injuries he had gotten and his battles, Tyrion would have long since caved in.
His crimson mane floated backward as he sprinted. However, his entire muscles were taunt as he exuded all the strength in his body to the extreme.
After struggling for quite some time, he finally managed to exit the second state’s range.
His eyes immediately focused on the remaining statue before him. Even just staring at its eyes made Tyrion’s head hurt, as though his brain was being cooked from the inside.
Tyrion immediately retracted his gaze and instead focused on the treasure in its mouth.
This time, his breathing was hurried and his heart racing like a galloping horse.
The large, thick veins covering his body like a tattoo thickened even more as a few thin blood vessels exploded, spreading blood to the air and falling down to the pressure.
However, Tyrion’s gaze remained locked in the treasure. From this distance, he could barely see the shape of the treasure but he was certain it was an earth shattering treasure and it would soon become his.
Tyrion’s eyes lit up and unconsciously, he took a step forward and his face changed drastically.
“BOOM!”
This time, there was no suspense nor was there any struggle. The pressure from the statue immediately flattened Tyrion to the ground!
The ground cracked and caved in as Tyrion’s gigantic body was blasted to the ground. It was as though a mountain had descended in him and he was unable to struggle even the slightest bit.
If it weren’t for the fact that his body had been enhanced by berserk explosion and beast morph, his spine have directly shattered, along with his chest, waist and organs.
Even then, he still felt as though the air was being squeezed out of him.
Right at this moment, Gerald had somehow managed to reach the second statue while Grant had rushed straight to the fourth statue.
It was at this moment that the hundreds of doors behind opened up, one after the other as various individuals rushed out.
