I Only Summon Amazon Giantesses
Chapter 79: Amazon Cat Fight
Mark stood within a vast courtyard tucked inside the chamber of his own soul space. His eyes lingered on the gleaming silver dungeon core resting in his grip before he finally lifted his gaze.
Absolute silence blanketed the entire space. Cassandra, the Cheer Warrior, stood positioned at the far right, while Penthesilea, the Barbarian Enforcer, held the opposite side. Both had already settled into ready, battle honed stances, eyes locked onto one another with sharp, unwavering focus. Neither carried a weapon.
"Alright, this is a genuine top level Elite Tier core, packed with serious mana density and containment. Still can’t quite believe I actually walked away with something like this," Mark said, scratching the back of his head.
"So, um, are you two actually sure about doing this for real? I mean, you don’t have to, right? This would basically mean doing this every single time there’s a core to split between the two of you."
Cassandra’s focus stayed locked entirely on her opponent, while the barbarian Amazon turned her head slightly toward Mark.
"This is simply how we’ve always lived. This is how every Amazon is trained, tempered, seasoned. Under the Amazonian decree, a warrior must earn her rightful standing before claiming what she’s owed. Worth and value get demonstrated first. Reward follows after, never before."
"An Amazon’s pride would never allow something as significant as power or standing to be handed over cheaply or easily. One must genuinely earn what’s rightfully hers," Cassandra added, backing Penthesilea’s words with firm, unwavering conviction.
Mark shrugged slightly at the clarity behind their reasoning. Somehow, he found himself steadily absorbing these Amazonian principles, their culture, their traditions, the kind of material that would have sent any archaeologist, philosopher, or research scientist into an absolute frenzy. The layered structure of their entire civilization read almost like flipping through some impossibly ancient, endlessly fascinating dictionary.
And here he stood, pulled directly into the middle of it all, as their rightful summoner and potential master. This was, genuinely, an ancient organization built from countless distinct Amazonian bloodlines, each carrying its own standards and buried history, concealed from the wider world for untold generations, an entire hidden civilization history itself had somehow failed to properly record.
His gaze drifted toward Cassandra with a small smile. He’d known her long enough by now to understand her fighting style and mastery over her own techniques intimately. She wasn’t some purely mechanical battle machine, no, but she remained a genuine force to be reckoned with in her own right, particularly when it came to raw skill, agility, adaptability, and layered combat technique.
Recognized formally as a captain within the Amazon Order, she carried the blessed gift of a bonded totemic beast sealed somewhere deep within her own soul, granting her access to another entire layer of bestial instinct and nature tied directly to true Amazon warriors.
Her rank as captain hadn’t come cheaply either. She’d earned it outright, through countless proven feats, sharp tactical thinking, and consistently impressive performance across battle after battle.
She’d also proven remarkably capable of adapting mid fight, reading shifts in an opponent’s attack pattern, and steering the flow of battle firmly to her own advantage, exactly as she’d already demonstrated through her evolved bracers and her mastery over that adaptive shrinking ability. Mark genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if she still had more hidden tricks waiting to surface eventually.
All of it combined to make her remarkably flexible and powerful, carrying real potential even against opponents who might initially look far stronger on paper. She functioned almost like a shifting powerhouse, capable of reshaping her entire combat approach on the fly, making her genuinely difficult for any opponent to properly predict.
Penthesilea, by comparison, operated more like an outright battle machine, a towering figure built from raw, brutal force and overwhelming physical might, the kind that simply refused to be easily overcome. Plenty of people took one look at her and assumed pure muscle was all she had to offer, but the reality ran considerably deeper than that. She stood as a true champion, forged across countless brutal campaigns, carrying real, sharpened combat intelligence and battlefield efficiency behind every movement.
She’d been shaped directly by some of the harshest, most unforgiving periods in Amazonian history, hardened steadily into the seasoned warrior standing here today. Nearly every ability she carried revolved specifically around combat, overwhelming force, raw survival instinct, and rapid, rigid adaptation under genuinely dangerous conditions.
Rumored to carry real potential toward becoming a queen herself someday, she was said to have clashed directly against recorded primordial gods and legendary heroes throughout history. She wasn’t simply a force worth respecting. She stood as a massive, formidable embodiment of everything fierce and savage the Amazon bloodline represented.
And now, watching these two dramatically different Amazons face off directly against one another, the sheer contrast and diversity between their fighting styles promised to make this genuinely extraordinary to witness. Still, this was exactly how Amazons had always been forged to live and adapt throughout their world. Honor and dignity sat at the absolute center of every duty and every earned reward, and this particular battle stood as nothing more than another disciplined exercise in exactly those principles.
Penthesilea’s eyes narrowed sharply as she studied the subtle shift in Cassandra’s stance, working to read her opening movement and anticipate the coming attack purely from her positioning.
Both combatants surged toward one another in the next split second, colliding head on with a heavy, resounding crash that rattled the entire chamber down to its foundation. Mark scrambled backward immediately, putting real distance between himself and the fight, unwilling to become collateral damage in a battle this violent.
Cassandra’s leg cracked hard against Penthesilea’s raised forearms as she blocked the strike. The sheer force sent Penthesilea sliding backward several inches before she surged forward again, driving hard to knock her opponent off balance. Cassandra twisted fluidly, readjusting her footing mid motion, keeping herself perfectly balanced as the barbarian’s shoulder came driving straight for her stomach.
Cassandra snapped one knee up sharply to deflect the incoming shoulder bash before locking Penthesilea into a tight clinch and spinning her away, buying enough space to reset. Penthesilea only smiled, steadying herself before charging forward again, fists clenched tight and primed to shatter anything unfortunate enough to stand in her path.
Cassandra managed to slip cleanly past two rapid punches, only to fall for a well disguised feint on the third, catching a brutal blow squarely across the bridge of her nose. Blood, bright and immediate, burst free down her lips. She stepped back sharply, raising one leg like a honed blade, driving a straight kick toward her opponent in retaliation.
Penthesilea launched upward instead, twisting through a tight spin before dropping into a devastating axe kick aimed straight down at Cassandra. Cassandra caught the blow against her raised bracers, which flared instantly to life as the Clock Dome enchantment activated, a spinning symbol blooming across its surface, ticking hands sweeping like a primed detonator.
The barbarian’s eyes widened, twisting herself sharply mid air, redirecting her own momentum just in time to avoid whatever was building behind that enchantment. But the moment her feet touched ground again, a violent gust of displaced air swept hard across her back.
Cassandra had already closed the distance, appearing directly behind her.
Her body surged upward past twelve feet as Super Mode fully activated, her physical strength and overall size swelling dramatically in an instant. A massive, sweeping leg strike caught Penthesilea across the ribs, launching her hard into the surrounding pillars and walls. Stone shattered and crumbled into heavy, jagged slabs, fragments raining down as the impact tore violently through the chamber’s structure.
Still, the destruction barely slowed Penthesilea down at all.
She burst straight back out through the settling rubble, her own frame expanding rapidly, climbing to a full fourteen feet as she triggered Super Mode in turn, dust and debris still clinging to her scarred shoulders.
The two Amazons clashed again, now towering giants locked in open combat, their enormous frames colliding with earthshaking force as blow after brutal blow rained between them in rapid succession. Every single exchange sent fresh shockwaves rippling through the chamber, cracks spreading wider across the surviving pillars, walls buckling further under the relentless, escalating violence of their fight.
Fists cratered stone. Knees and elbows opened shallow gashes that wept dark, crimson blood down straining muscle, only to be shrugged off half a heartbeat later as both warriors surged straight back into the fray without hesitation. Neither one so much as flinched from the damage they were taking, each hit simply another excuse to hit back harder.
Mark had already tucked himself into the one genuinely safe corner of the chamber throughout the entire deadly exchange between the two towering Amazons. He glanced down at the dungeon core still resting in his hand and let out a long, resigned sigh.
"Well, guess this really was a special gift, exactly like Hermione said. Even the Amazons think it’s worth fighting each other over, so yeah, probably not my place to argue otherwise."
