I Might Be A Fake Cultivator

Chapter 1411 - The Strange Skeleton

Chapter 1411: The Strange Skeleton

The Starfire Battleship held off Emperor Yi Deng.

An Lin flew all the way into the crimson palace.

The crimson palace was reinforced by an extremely powerful spell formation, which allowed it to survive the shockwaves of the previous battles.

An Lin was greeted by the sight of a translucent, white statue upon entering the palace, beside which there was a golden spatial gate.

“Is this the entrance to the Blood Tribe holy land that Cassidy and the others were talking about?” An Lin quickly made his way over to the entrance and unleashed his divine sense as well as his Divine Inspection Technique.

A string of information appeared in his mind.

[The Blood Rakshasa Ancient Battleground: An ancient battleground between the blood tribe and an alien tribe from another world.]

This was a very brief explanation and contained no information that was useful to An Lin.

“Could it be that I opened my eyes in the wrong way?” An Lin muttered to himself.

He closed his eyes before opening a pair of pure, white eyes again as he looked toward the spatial gate.

A string of information appeared in his mind.

[Blood Patriarch Spiritual Restriction: Only those with bloodlines acknowledged by the Blood Patriarch can bypass this restriction.]

“Cassidy and the others were accepted by the Blood Patriarch, so my bloodline should be no problem, right?” An Lin’s interest was piqued.

He carefully reached into the spatial gate to see if he was going to encounter any impediment.

When his hand made contact with the golden gate, it was as if he had stuck his hand into a cool and refreshing pool of water.

“Hmm… Ah…”

An ethereal yet extremely elated voice sounded from within the restriction.

“Holy f*ck! What was that sound?” An Lin was given a fright and instinctively withdrew his hand.

The golden spatial gate tremored violently just as An Lin was withdrawing his hand, and the same voice sounded again from within.

“Oh… That felt good…”

A powerful suction force locked An Lin’s hand in place and refused to let him go.

An Lin’s expression shifted drastically, and he was just about to unleash the power of Heavenly Wind God again to extricate his hand.

All of a sudden, the spatial gate transformed into a vortex from which an extremely terrifying suction force erupted. Space was twisted and compressed to the extreme, and his body was instantly sucked in.

This was no longer a matter of whether it would allow him to enter.

Even if he didn’t want to enter, the spatial gate was determined to accept him!

A strong rush of dizziness ensued.

Soon, An Lin’s vision regained clarity, and he found himself looking at a murky, light green sky while the ground was comprised of yellow and red sand.

This essentially looked like a desert with an interesting color scheme.

“This is the Blood Tribe holy land?” An Lin muttered.

He turned around to find a gate behind him emitting a faint sheen.

It looked like he had not just been dropped at a random location. At the very least, the entrance and exit appeared to be one and the same.

There was a gargantuan mutant beast skull directly behind the exit gate, so it would be quite easy to spot this gate from afar.

“Alright, I’ll contact Cassidy first.” An Lin pulled out his voice transmission talisman.

However, he found that he was unable to contact Cassidy, as if the signal was blocked by a strange power here.

“That’s weird, I could still contact them when I was on the rocket…”

An Lin was a little perplexed. Could it be that they had entered some sort of peculiar place?

He looked around at the bleak and desolate land around him. Scars left in the earth from spell techniques were still exuding terrifying energy fluctuations even after all this time, and there were many peculiar skeletons visible on the ground.

This was a huge place, and An Lin didn’t even know where to start.

There were countless directions he could go in. If he went the wrong way, he would be taking himself further and further away from Cassidy and the others.

“What should I do?” An Lin was a little vexed.

Just as he was racking his brain for a course of action, he suddenly thought of a spell technique.

“I’ve got it…”

Heaven and earth were suddenly reflected in An Lin’s eyes as invisible ripples proliferated forth in a radius of over one hundred and fifty kilometers.

Divine Simulation Technique!

Everything that had taken place between heaven and earth would be revealed to him upon using this technique.

The flow of the dust particles, the bugs on the ground, the direction of the winds, all of this information was revealed to him.

The information seemed quite mundane and wouldn’t provide any leads.

However, in the eyes of An Lin after using his Divine Simulation Technique, even the finest detail held meaning and revealed information. Every living being would inadvertently influence their surrounding environment. Each and every one of their actions would leave a trace upon the world.

When all of these traces and details were pieced together, a clear path would be revealed.

He could analyze all of the traces here in order to simulate and predict the future.

An Lin closed his eyes. When he opened them again, they had already reverted back to their normal black and white form.

He swallowed two immortal pills to replenish his energy before flying into the air toward a certain direction. The direction he was flying toward was the direction Cassidy and the others were most likely to appear in, as well as the direction Emperor An Mang had gone in upon entering this place!

As he continued onward, the sky gradually turned purple from its original green, and the power of yin became more abundant here.

The air temperature fell.

There were even black snowflakes falling from the sky.

Tinkle, tinkle…

The sound of a bell tinkling suddenly sounded from nearby.

An Lin was intrigued by this discovery and lowered his flight altitude as he looked toward the source of the sound.

There, he discovered a skeleton in a red robe lying on a dead log. Its head was lopsided, and it looked like an ordinary skeleton with the exception of the flashing red light on its chest.

How interesting…

An Lin could see that the skeleton was also holding a bell in its hand.

Tinkle, tinkle…

The skeleton seemed to have detected An Lin’s presence and shook the bell again.

“Are you telling me to come to you?” An Lin was a little unsure of what this skeleton was up to.

He made his way over and tried to touch the skeleton, but his hands met thin air.

Tinkle, tinkle…

The sound of the bell appeared elsewhere.

An Lin discovered that the skeleton and the dead log had mysteriously disappeared. They then re-emerged several hundred meters away, upon which the skeleton continued to ring its bell.

“Is this an illusion?

“No! How could there be such a realistic illusion in this world that even my divine sense can’t detect?” An Lin was a little surprised.

He had just unleashed his divine sense and verified that this skeleton was realistic and not some illusion. But if it really was an illusion, just how powerful would the caster have to be?

An Lin was unwilling to give up and continued to fly toward the skeleton.

However, he had only just reached it and struck out his hand again when the skeleton disappeared.

Tinkle, tinkle…

The sound of the tinkling bell seemed to be taunting An Lin.

The red-robed skeleton did nothing other than tinkling its bell.

An Lin chuckled coldly. “No wonder an eye-catching monster like this is still able to survive to this day despite its arrogance. How interesting…”

“Cassidy and the others have presumably also seen it, but they were unable to do anything about it…” An Lin speculated, and his interest was piqued as he made his way toward the red-robed skeleton.

A white light flashed through his eyes.

Divine Inspection Technique!
