This is especially true for the Marshal who possessed an aborigine’s vessel, broke a soul contract and is now being rejected by the body itself. Unless he uses his real aura, destroying this thing is almost impossible.

"Once the barrier weakens, you will be all dead!" Marshal Gu Ying shouted at them like a madman outside their barrier.

The ones who were calm were the Lord Guardian, and the whole beastmen race. They even ignored the wild man shouted outside the barrier.

Lord Guardian Vega said, "He’er, you need to move at the rear. Leave the rest to us."

Holding a piece of his lover’s hair, with behind him elder shamans just finished gathering part of the warriors of the tribe, Prophet Heri hugs his beloved. These locks of hairs were just trump cards for survival of their tribe. As for their vassals, most of them would retreat to protect the Prophet and the elders’ shamans and only the beastmen would remain in the frontline to block and slow down the Marshal.

"Take care. I will make sure you all survive!" Prophet Heri whispered.

The Lord Guardian gave his mate a kiss on the forehead before bidding him farewell.

He looked at the vassals of their clan and said, "Vera, Garan, Please take care of my wife."

"Leave it to us! We will definitely keep him safe with our lives!" The declaration of the two captains made the Lord Guardian relieved. He nods at them and turns to look at the Marshal in front of them.

The Lord Guardian commanded, "Go!"

Under his command, a group led by the two captains, Vera and Garan, had left the forest together with the Prophet and the other elder shamans. For the elder shamans, the safety of the royal bloodline of their clan is their topmost priority.

Seeing the actions taken by the lowly things under his gaze, Marshal Gu Ying couldn’t help but chuckle.

"Do you truly think that they can escape? Once this barrier is gone, I will massacre you and kill them as well!" Marshal Gu Ying said.

The Lord Guardian pretended that he didn’t hear the words of the main villain while his clansmen were all angered by his words and couldn’t help but glare at him. However, that’s all they can do as with the passing time, the effects of the stone fades more until everything is spent. Everyone watches as the aura from the cosmos stone weakens. Their plans are simple. Stay and make sure to slow down the marshal.

They were actually a way to completely stop this monster. The Lord Guardian and all the beastmen warriors only had one plan in their mind and that is to use self destruction to wound him as much as they can. Slow him down. As long as they weakened him by giving him more injuries they could definitely survive. No one noticed that as much as the aura coming from the stone had weakened, all of the spirit on the land had disappeared as well.

Marshal Gu Ying who was glaring at the Lord Guardian with hatred couldn’t help but show an evil smile the moment he noticed that the barrier had weakened.

"As expected... Time’s up for you~" said Marshal Gu Ying as he dived down targeting the Lord Guardian.

This dive was enough to destroy the greatly weakened barrier which was easily resolved by Gu Ying. He instantly appeared in front of Lord Vega and stabbed his chest with his hands. His hand stabbed through the body and a beating heart appeared in his hand. This is the heart of Lord Guardian which he had dug out of his body.

Marshal Gu Ying smiled like a madman as he looked at Lord Vega.

"I told you... I will not let you off!"

"Heh~ is that so?" The Lord Guardian said as he grabbed the hand that passed through his own body and gave the last order, "DO IT!"

Every beastmen that remained in the area had jumped on the Marshal and before Gu Ying could even react, he felt a powerful chaotic movement of qi in the area. He knew what these ants planned to do next.

"You plan to self-destruct!" Marshal Gu Ying shouted.

Lord Guardian smiled at him and before the life in his eyes fades completely. What comes after that is a group explosion of the beastmen who jumped on Marshal Gu Ying.

BOOOOOM!

A loud explosion was heard from the location where the Lord Guardian remains. As for the others who were running, they continue to run away and only turn their heads once with tears in their eyes as they run away again. The plan they had made during the last short peace they had was this. For the beastmen race to make most of the sacrifice and buy them some time to run. Not all beastmen warriors stayed with the Lord guardian.

They were split into many groups waiting to ambush the Marshal on his way to chase after them. After all, the piece of cosmos stone in his hand is just a part of the whole stone. The tribe decided to piece the stone to pieces and each group used it as a trap to summon the marshal and used this suicidal attacks just to escape from here.

Most of the beastmen who were sacrificed had given their hair to the Lord Prophet to keep. The tribe had gathered two sets and one set was given to be sent to the borders and the other in the Lord Prophet’s possession. As long as one set remains and one royal beastmen bloodline exists, they would be able to survive this war.

After the explosion, Marshal Gu Yin, who failed to escape and could only protect himself at the last moment, had suffered a lot. He lost an arm because of this explosion and his almost dead body is even more broken. Covered in flesh and blood, he is now like a lunatic.

Holding a piece of cosmos stone, Marshal Gu Ying was fully enraged now. All he had in his head at this moment was to kill all the beastmen in existence. He never would have expected that this annoying race would choose to self destruct just so he will get injured.

"Kill you. How dare you play a trick with me? I’m going to fucking kill you all!!"

He can no longer fly as he uses most of his qi to prevent the current vessel he has from breaking. Even the little bit of cosmos energy he had absorbed from the stone in his hand can barely keep him alive. But his speed was still there as he hurriedly sensed the nearest aura of the cosmos stone. He knew that as long as he went to the place where he sensed the cosmos stone, there would be beastmen holding on it.

After running through the forest for hours, Marshal Gu Ying finally reached the location where the nearest stone is located and as expected, he met a group of beastmen once again. Though one of them smells like an elf, he didn’t care as he would be dead with these bastards anyway.

This time he had fallen into a trap which cut his legs before he could react. "You! Damn... bastards!" shouted Marshal Gu Ying in disbelief and rage.

He had once again fallen into a trap and the beastmen had used the suicidal attack for the second time.
