Chapter 1920: 24.181 Sixth Violet Star - Visiting the Mine

The God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness accompanied Nangong Rui back to his home. The family of Nangong Rui had long detached themselves from the main family. The reason was because they found out that Nangong Rui’s mother had an elven bloodline. In short, she isn’t a pure human.

"I was told that the alliance is in need of that jade in mine which is enough to be used as materials for the new weapon the military is able to release. Do you want to go against the Alliance!?"

The parents of Nangong Rui glance at Mu Liao who looks like he didn’t want to give up asking for that mine. He had bought a lot of jade from there and it was used as initial materials for the new weapon. After learning that the jade ore is extremely useful to create the new bullets he asked the main family of the Nangong Clan to act as a middle man for him. Thinking that since they are family they can help him meet the couple.

Mu Liao didn’t expect that the relationship between this family and the main branch of Nangong Clan was the worst there is. He regrets asking for the help of the main branch.

Marshal Mu said, "Butler, we should get going. Since they didn’t agree. No need to force them. There might be another source area as long as we find it there is no need to bother Mr and Mrs Nangong. But please until we find a new source let the military continue buying the jade ore."

These words might not reach the ears of Nangong Rui who is a human but to the God of Destruction and his beloved in their beastmen body heard it too well. Hei Anjing curled his lips in amusement while a frown appeared on Ye Xiajie’s face. As for Mu Liao who was beside the servant, he also frowned as if offended by the man’s words as well.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness threw a Phoenix flame towards the servants and he started screaming in fear. This is a flame that purifies the filth. This includes a human’s malice, greed and all kinds of negativity in existence.

ARGH~

"M-MARSHAL! S-SAVE ME!!! IT HURTS!!! IT BURNS," screamed the servant from the main family’s Nangong Clan.

Marshal Mu Liao looked at Ye Xiajie who looked nonchalant with what he did.

Hei Anjing sneered and said, "Since you cannot hold on your tongue, experience what it’s like to be burned for a few days. Don’t worry that flame will not kill you nor would burn anything else and will just let you feel pain. The more bad thoughts you have the hotter the flame will be~. Aren’t you going to have a fun few days~."

The God of Destruction leans to meet the eyes of the servant who was horrified seeing the endless darkness within those eyes. The servant screamed and fainted. Even after losing consciousness the man still twitches in pain.

Marshal Mu asked, "This flame will not take his life or body?"

"Yes. It will keep burning for a week. If it doesn’t fade out then come to me to complain," said Ye Xiajie. He showed such a powerful stance that left the others speechless. It just shows that he fears no one, not even this marshal.

The God of Destruction said, "Let’s go." Before the three walked away, he meaningfully smiled at the human marshal which startled the latter.

The human marshal watches the children walk away and only when they meet the couple from before and disappear in the mansion that his face turns so cold as he looks down on the servant who fainted on the ground. He even lightly kicks him.

Mu Liao utters, "Useless bastard!"

After asking someone to send the servant back to the Nangong Clan, Mu Liao left and returned to the military compound.

On the other hand, inside the mansion, Nangong Rui is introducing Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie to his parents. The parents of Nangong Rui were grateful towards Hei Anjing who helped him with awakening his Elemental King. Even Mrs. Nangong didn’t know a way to do such a thing but she had found some old book in her clan about spirit awakening and taming.

According to it, it requires a large source of qi to hatch an elemental egg. For elves who were born with affinity to nature this is not a problem but human affinity to nature depends on fate. If you were born talented then it’s no problem but Nangong Rui and his family were ordinary people. They would have lived as ordinary humans if Nangong Rui didn’t meet his seniors.

The God of Destruction said, "Please don’t overthink. I only help him because I happen to be there. As for the payment, I had told your son what I wanted."

He said, "The senior said he wanted to come to my jade mine and check something. I’ve already agreed so..."

As expected his parents frowned and didn’t expect that it had something to do with their son’s jade mine again.

Mr. Nangong said, "It’s that mine again. Is there something wrong with it?"

"Prince Hei, do you know what’s wrong with that place? Is it something serious that you would come here yourself?" Mrs. Nangong asked. It seems that this lady is intelligent enough to know that something is wrong with mine for people to be interested in it.
