South Region, at the Glaciers

The two overlords of the north and south had learned of the demise of the Ice Elemental Octopus King. The two’s responses are entirely dissimilar from one another. Anger filled the Ice Elemental Penguin King, also known as the South King. He found it incomprehensible that people who had formerly served them would turn against him.

This Penguin King appears to be a penguin from the zoo in the area. He was accustomed to being fed and lavished with care by people. He was unaware that those previous humans had been his caregivers rather than his servants, and that he was actually an animal who looked after the zoo.

It collected female penguins from the wild, and the zoo once it became elemental, building a massive harem for itself.

The Ice Elemental Penguin King said, [That servant dares to kill not only the Fox in the west but also that damn Octopus in the east. That octopus serves him right. He is nothing but a brawl anyway. Hmp! That hybrid should just become my servant. This King is kind to his people.

Anyway, if you guys see a hybrid human-elemental, go capture him alive for me. He must have some use.]

As if responding to the Penguin King’s remarks, the elementals and penguins surrounding him began to squeak. For Leng Jun’s amusement, it made the decision to capture him.

North Region, at the Iced Forest…

Within the gang had assembled a band of ice wolves, among them the ominously familiar-looking Ice Elemental Wolf King, dubbed after the mythological creature Fenrir. These ice wolves possessed light blue fur, which is thought to resemble the color of an ice elemental.

While common or lower-tier Ice elements are unable to speak human, they are nonetheless capable of communicating through other means. There are many scouting wolves in their domain, and it is been said that that previous hybrid elemental killed a great deal of mutant monsters.

Only their king was able to communicate with humans among this pack of wolves, although other elementals can also communicate through sound and thoughts. It appears that a few wolves on scouting missions visit to inform their monarch of the latest developments in their domain.

[King, in the past few months, the mutated beasts in our area had greatly increased. For some reason, those humans who secretly go to our forest have stopped coming over.]

[But there was a time when almost all mutated beasts were hunted by someone else. Some cubs said it was that hybrid, but they didn’t know where he had sent those preys.]

The thick white fog that has descended upon the entrance to the ice mountain has totally obscured what is going inside, just as his subordinates had reported.

The Ice Elemental Wolf King mumbles, {It is in locked down. Just what happened in this place after that brat came over. There is no other choice but to force my way through.}

Just as the Wolf King tried to peer through those thick white fog, a familiar voice entered his mind. It’s the voice of the Elemental King of the West Region, the Ice Elemental Ninetailed Fox.

{Wolf, what are you trying to do? You want to trespass on my territory!}

{Tsk! If you are around, why are you pretending to be dead? You’ve met that Hybrid brat, haven’t you? Did you see something? Also what is that news about the Sea Region?} The Ice Elemental Wolf King inquired.

The Ice Elemental Ninetailed Fox responded, {That child’s business with me is done. Sooner or later, he will come for you as well. As for the Octopus King, he is gone for good.}

{What do you mean, Fox?} asked the Ice Elemental Wolf King.

{Didn’t you ask before when you would meet someone who could force you to fight with everything you had? Soon, you will be achieving your dreams. When you have spared that child’s life, the wheels of fate between you two have connected. You both will get what you want.}

{I want to give you a warning, though. Those who are greedy for power will be the cause of death of your tribe. Resolve the brewing danger before he comes over or there will only be endless True death that would fall into the Ice forest} The Ice Elemental Ninetailed Fox said.

{The vicious Octopus King got what he deserved. The Penguin King shouldn’t force one to stay. It was the result of their own actions. I’ve said what I wanted to say. Just remember, there is no real death for elements unless they are wholly eaten by something unknown. You should go back.}

Ice Elemental Ninetailed Fox cut off their discourse and sent the Ice Elemental Wolf King’s senses back to his body. The Ice Elemental Wolf King gave him a troubled look when he actually woke up. As the fox forewarned him, there is one with concealed malice. He decides to ignore this one for the time being.

[There is no problem with the west. The Elemental King of the West had entered seclusion and they decided to close their borders because of it. I have new orders for you.]

[Check the situation of the Elemental King of the East for me. Go ask around if something happened at the sea region. I also sent a few to check the south to see if there were any changes as well. [The ones who will lead will be you and you.]

The Ice Elemental Wolf King sends that little one with hidden malice towards him to the south. If he wanted to make some moves, being away in the pack would be safer, at least for his group.

Though he didn’t know what that one planned to do, he was not willing to have his pack affected by it. Sending it away to the south was the last mercy he could do. If he still did things that shouldn’t have done, he would have to end him with his own hands.

Two small groups of elements in wolf form left the Ice Forest. One Group heads to the east sea region and another group heads to the south glacial region. As for the Wolf King, he decided to look after his territory for a while, waiting for that child to come over him as the Fox divined.

[If I wait long enough, will I get what I want?] The Ice Elemental Wolf King mumbles before once again closing his eyes to sleep.

Back to the Hive…

As of now, the hive had never been stable. Cid Warlock was in charge of the throne. He would trained day and night under Marquess Conrad and Colonel Bailey, and now he had grown strong and knowledgeable enough to take the throne of Zerg King. The present Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress are supposedly able to assist the Zergs in reaching their next stage of evolution.

The resources are limited, thus they were unable to assist everyone in entering evolution.

Thus, it was determined that the inhabitants of this star would learn the art of pill refinement from Zerg Empress Titania Ambrosia and Colonel Bailey, Marquess Silver’s wife. Because gods descended on this planet, it has a very strong global qi and is incredibly fertile.

This is the best planet for growing herbs and other unique ingredients for producing pills. However, the entire procedure has been updated; special pots are now used in place of a furnace. The two systems—Yue and Yang— had imported some data about pill making into the database of this universe allowed for the modernization of pill manufacture.

However, only Zergs who awoke a gift for cooking and medicine would be able to learn Pill Refinement; not just anybody could do it. Only individuals with extensive medical and culinary understanding will be able to acquire this unique skill due to the stringent talent requirements.

As pill-making became more and more popular, a few schools were established for individuals who were interested. The first group of instructors consists of a group that Colonel Bailey personally trained and the slaves of the Zerg Empress, whom he instructed himself.

Owing to the captivating curriculum, several nearby planets made treaties with the hive. The treaty’s provisions let the planets that signed it to at least become business partners, and these partners will be able to send a restricted number of people to learn how to make pills, which will be one of the most difficult and sought-after careers in the future.

In the Imperial Palace…

It was a rare and peaceful afternoon for the Zerg Empress and the Zerg Emperor. They lodged in the Nest Garden, which is currently the beehive’s holiest site. The insect race will only be able to successfully evolve at this location. There is only one cocoon in the nest now, and it is going to hatch soon.

“Tsk! Cheapskate!” murmured Zhi Yue while pouting. He became fearless ever since Lord Hei had descended. He knew that his Lord wouldn’t lose his temper with Lord Hei around. He wouldn’t be as scary as before.

“Okay. Stop talking nonsense, Yue’er. Let me see your forehead.” Zhi Yang pulled him over and helped put ice over Yue’s forehead. No one knows how the God of Void made the sugar cube become as hard as rock when it hit Zhi Yue’s forehead.

“How is it? Is the bump big?” Zhi Yue asked worriedly.

Looking the small bump with a size of a walnut, Zhi Yang decided to lie, “It’s not big.”

Zhi Yue wanted to touch it, but a contact with his bump made it painful so he stop himself. He mumbles, “Really?! Why do I feel its a bit big?”

“Yue’er~ it will hurt a bit,” Zhi Yang said with a soft and comforting voice. He took a few ice cubes and covered it with a towel. He was careful place it over

They were so focused on their work that they failed to notice that a cocoon nearby had begun to tremble, as though something was about to burst out. The couple and the two systems did not realize what was going on until the Heavenly Laws had blessed Cid Warlock’s cocoon.
