Chapter 1363: 19.22 Second Red Star - Silvana Warren
Queen Titania realized that after he had exposed himself, the humans would probably target him rather than go looking for Cid Warlock and the others. He purposefully did this to ensure the safety of people who had broken into the military installation covertly. Instead, it was him who found himself in a difficult circumstance.
The Zerg Queen’s female zerg subordinates swooped next to him, concerned-looking. They were aware that the Queen had decided to turn into bait in order to give the humans who had broken away from them more time. They were unhappy about this since, in their opinion, the Zerg Queen’s life is more important than any of their own. The lesser entities do not require a sacrifice.
“Your Highness, we shouldn’t have shown your presence. Now these annoying humans will all come over just for you!”
“Let’s leave. Putting the Queen in danger is something that shouldn’t be allowed.”
“General, we don’t have many soldiers with us. We could protect your back if we are surrounded by humans. It would be quite hard to escape.” ƒгeewёbnovel.com
“You guys will stay in the spaceship and fly towards the place where the rest have infiltrated. I will buy you some time to take off. No need to wait for me. I can fly faster than that spaceship we have with us,” Queen Titania said as he gently passed the sleeping child in his embrace to one of his subordinates.
“Your Highness, I can be the bait instead. Please enter the spaceship.”
“You don’t fly faster than I am. You will only get caught. Just follow my orders!” Queen Titania stated.
The female Zerg soldiers bowed their heads at hearing their superior’s severe tone, and they were forced to obey their Zerg queen’s orders. With the young girl, they made their way back to the spacecraft.
Lili has 25% human ancestry. She received diluted human blood from her parents and inherited the majority of their zerg bloodline. She was able to maintain her human shape because of his quarter-human blood. The majority of mixed-blood zergs were humanoid. After a certain point, those pure bloods changed into a humanoid shape.
A pure-blood Zerg and a mixed-breed Zerg would resemble humans more just by looking alike, with the exception of their differing eye and hair hues. Their strength or mental capacity makes a difference. As well some body parts that isn’t something humans would possessed.
The Zerg Queen did not panic as she watched the spaceship glide over the rainforest and return from no camouflage as it raised to stealth mode and flew away. He vanished into thin air, searching for the human general who had just discovered him. His wings were very noticeable, so he did not utilize them. At a speed that might be regarded as human, he strolled through the jungle.

Somewhere in the rainforest…
While meeting in the wilderness, General Barrett and a few of his soldiers lost over half of their initial number. Barret is particularly taken aback because he did not anticipate seeing a Zerg Royalty in the human star. As he informed the higher-ups about the existence of the Zerg Queen, he was shaking.
If those elderly folks had heard about the zerg queen, they would undoubtedly have reacted in a manner similar to his own.
“Impossible. How can he be here!? If he feels like it, he can destroy at least half of this planet. I thought that the Queen of Zergs could not live in the Hive!?” General Barret said. “I must inform the Marshals immediately.”
However, Barret felt a strange presence behind him before he could use his interface to contact his supervisor. All of the troops who had been with them were dead on the ground when he turned around. He alone was still alive. Such a scene so horrified him that when his subordinates died, he did not even sense the presence of anyone or hear any sound.
“Who the hell…!!?”
A cold voice was heard coming near his ears, talking as if a devil’s whisper: “I did it.”
General Barret spun around quickly, but all he could see was a haze that gradually lifted. He was terrified because he knew that the person who had killed his people covertly was still in his vicinity. Something invaded his head, destroying him before he could reach his terminal. His head’s terminal was damaged, yet he did not lose consciousness like the others did.
He too would have perished here if no one had come to his aid in time.
Resurfacing from the mists of the forest, Queen Titania cast a disinterested glance down at the people below. He turns to go as though he never did such a thing. A few minutes after the Zerg Queen departed, a second spacecraft came to a standstill just over General Barret’s abandoned position. Silvana Warren descended from that spaceship and saw the scene of death in front of her eyes.
She was saddened and enraged to see her brother among the bodies.
Silvana screamed, “Who the hell did this!?”
“My lady, the General, is still alive, but he must be put on a healing pod as soon as possible. Also, we found his terminal destroyed, and I’ve tried to retrieve the last thing that was done with it. It seems the General was about to send an emergency report to the headquarters.”
“What do you mean?” Silvana Warren asked.
“It seems that the Zerg Queen is here in this region!”
“Immediately report this news to the headquarters. They mustn’t escape!” Silvana Warren said. She suddenly mumbles, “Zerg Queen, you wouldn’t be forgiven for harming this princess’s brother.”

At the military station…
The laboratory was eventually located by Lieutenant Solan and Female Zerg Soldier Nier, but only because they saw heavy gray smoke emanating from this building. Nier had to fend off an attack before they could enter the building, but he handled it really well. After all, Cid Warlock, a S+ Sentinel with SS potential, was the one who attacked him just now.
Since Female Zerg Solder Nier was only capable of an A+, it was not shocking that he was struggling.
Nier asked, “Who the hell is it!? Show yourself!”
Cid Warlock, with huge blue morpho butterfly wings on his back, appeared from the corner of the building. His face looked dignified as he appeared before the female zerg, Nier. At this moment, Cid Warlock’s eyes turned sapphire.
The former Major asked, “Why is a female zerg on the planet owned by humans?”
“My lord, please calm down. This lieutenant can explain everything.” Lieutenant Solan stood in the middle of his leader and Nier, an acquaintance who was willing to help them with this rescue mission.
Unexpectedly, the Female Zerg Soldier, Nier, fell on one knee. He saluted before Cid Warlock treated him like royalty.
“First Lieutenant Nier greets his highness. As the bearer of the Blue Morpho Butterfly Royal Tribe’s bloodline, this little one comes to pick his highness up!”
Solan had anticipated this scene, but actually experiencing it is a different matter. This is the first time he has ever seen the haughty and conceited female zerg bow down to anyone outside the Zerg Royalty. Perhaps Nier, a Zerg soldier, treated Cid Warlock like a king because he was descended from royalty.
Cid Warlock frowned. “I am a mixed blood with human bloodline. You still want to call me his highness?”
“In Hive, Royal Bloodline is above everyone. Even if they are a halfling, those who didn’t have the blood of royalty can only serve those who have. I served the Apollo Butterfly Bloodline from the Zerg Empress side and now served the Zerg Queen, Titania Ambrosia. Under the orders of my queen, this one came to escort you on the way to the hive.” The Female Zerg Soldier Nier responded.
Cid Warlock said, “I might want the throne in your hive. Are you still going to bring me over?”
“Within the royal family, only the strongest can become king. If his highness can defeat King Augustus, why not? But please remember that the current King Augustus is even stronger than the current Zerg Queen,” Nier said. “In the end, only the strongest can mutate into a monarch butterfly bloodline.”
Cid Warlock studied the face of the female zerg before him, and sure enough, Nier did not display any contempt for him, a halfling. Many halflings reside among the purebloods on the Zerg Planet after spending time in the hive on their mission. If prejudice exists, it would only manifest itself in the differences in status between male and female zerg.
“If I become the Zerg King in the future, I will give the female Zerg a standing equal to that of the male ones and halflings,” Cid Warlock said. “Stand up.”
Nier did as he was told and stood up from the ground and said, “The discrimination between the two genders in the Hive has been resolved. King Augustus removed all the laws that are biased and replaced them with laws of equal treatment. Also, he had spread that cultivation technique that enhanced spiritual qi and resolved bad gene bloodlines. I’m sure his highness heard about it.”
“Is it real?” Lieutenant Solan asked in surprise.
The combined might of two races would never be sufficient for halflings like them. Despite being more powerful sentries than pure blood sentries, some of them awoke as feeble Quantum creatures, while the other halflings had none at all. Perhaps if they could figure out how to stop being mixed blood, they could become stronger than pure blood.
The Female Zerg Soldier Nier snorted, “There is no need for me to lie towards his highness.”
“That technique is indeed real, but I don’t know about its effects as I wasn’t chosen to practice it before. Let’s continue the talk later. For now, it’s time to leave. Have you found Lucas?” Cid Warlock asked as he moved his gaze from Nier to Solan.
Lieutenant Solan replied, “Kian and Roan must have found him. Let’s leave first. I’m suddenly having a bad feeling.”
“Is it your intuition? If it is, then it’s real. Let’s go,” Cid Warlock said.
Along with the other survivors they had rescued in the dungeon, they ran across Roan, Kian, and Lucas as they were leaving the station. Unexpectedly, though, Silvana Warren’s brigade soldiers had surrounded them. While her brother brought only thirty to fifty soldiers, she brought nearly the entire brigade.
Silvana sat on a chair prepared for her, and she looked at Cid Warlock, who had just arrived. With her brother’s troops, they were able to surround the whole station and prevent anyone from escaping, and they successfully bumped into Roan and the rest when they were about to leave. Now that even Cid Warlock had arrived, the heroine showed a joyous smile.
Silvana Warren wanted to run towards Cid Warlock and hug him, but she was stopped by her subordinates.
“My lady, you can’t hug a criminal!”
“Please watch over your reputation. You might get what you want when the people from the headquarters arrive and get my lady’s reward.”
“My Cid, when the higher-ups arrive, I will plead for your sake. Just come with me when that time comes, okay?” Silvana Warren said while smiling. She obviously doesn’t care about anyone aside from the protagonist.
Cid Warlock asked, “What about my subordinates? You aren’t going to plead for them? Most of my subordinates have died; you even helped me stop the massacre of the Halflings when I was in a coma. Also, you didn’t stop them from taking me over for an experiment. Don’t tell me you don’t even know about that.”
Silvana Warren thought for a while, and with an innocent expression, she retorted, “They promised me they wouldn’t harm your wings and even said they would allow me to marry you afterwards. So I didn’t stop them, as for the other halflings, most of them didn’t have beautiful features and were mostly disgusting. Do they even need to exist?”
This woman appears to be mentally ill. She detests unattractive things and only enjoys beautiful things. The majority of halflings do not have beautiful looks at birth and become even uglier in disproportion to their physical selves. To claim that it is ugly is not a lie. Imagine witnessing a halfling, a halfling, half-human, half-grasshopper zerg.
He had human-like grasshopper legs, a trait passed down from his Zerg lineage with an upper human body. It is an odd kind of physique. This is how most halflings with poorer Zerg genetics come to be. The hatred of halflings is partly due to this physical defect.
