Chapter 715: Chapter 715 Why Is the Young Mistress Walking Like a Bow Legged Crab?

Lin Feng and Li Ruoxi continued enjoying their dinner.

After the earlier incident, the atmosphere around them had changed considerably.

Nobody dared to look down on Lin Feng anymore, and those who had previously assumed that he was merely an ordinary mortal now kept their distance.

They had all witnessed what happened.

A Core Formation Realm sword cultivator had tried to cause trouble because he was interested in Li Ruoxi, only to discover that the beautiful woman beside Lin Feng was not someone he could provoke.

More importantly, Li Ruoxi had openly declared that she would make sure his attack was the last thing he ever did.

That single statement had been enough to make everyone understand something.

Even if Lin Feng looked like an ordinary mortal, Li Ruoxi was willing to fight anyone who dared to threaten him.

Some cultivators secretly found the relationship strange.

Others found it enviable.

After all, having a beautiful and powerful dao companion who would stand behind you without hesitation was something many cultivators could only dream about.

Lin Feng, however, did not care about any of that.

He simply continued eating his dinner with Li Ruoxi as though nothing had happened.

Once they finished their meal, the two did not immediately return to their room.

They had already spent far too much time inside that room recently.

In fact, if they returned now, there was a very good chance they would end up spending another few days there making love and fucking nonstop.

Li Ruoxi certainly knew that.

She glanced at Lin Feng with a faint smile.

"Let’s walk around for a while."

Lin Feng immediately agreed.

"Sure. We are in Infinite Sword Domain City, after all. It would be a waste to spend our entire stay inside a room."

Li Ruoxi nodded.

The two left the restaurant together and stepped back onto the bustling streets.

They did not use a carriage.

They did not ride a flying sword.

They did not use any special transportation.

Instead, they simply walked.

For ordinary people, walking through such a gigantic city might have been exhausting, but for cultivators like them, it was nothing.

Besides, neither of them was in a hurry.

They wanted to enjoy the city.

Infinite Sword Domain City was truly worthy of being called a giant cultivation city.

Even though the night had already grown deep, the city showed no intention of sleeping.

Bright spiritual lanterns hung along both sides of the streets, their gentle light illuminating the roads and buildings.

Some lanterns were ordinary, while others were clearly made from special spiritual materials that allowed them to burn for decades without needing to be replaced.

The countless lights made the entire city appear almost as bright as daytime.

Everywhere they looked, there were people.

Cultivators walked through the streets wearing the robes of their respective sects.

Some carried swords on their backs, while others had strange treasures hanging from their waists.

Groups of young disciples laughed and talked as they walked toward restaurants.

Experienced cultivators returned from outside the city with tired expressions, carrying the spoils of their latest adventures.

Merchants stood outside their shops and loudly advertised their treasures.

"Top-grade healing pills! Only three thousand spirit stones!"

"Fresh spirit beasts from the Northern Mountains!"

"Newly refined flying swords! Perfect for Foundation Establishment cultivators!"

"Come and take a look! We have rare spiritual herbs that are impossible to find anywhere else!"

The streets were filled with noise and activity.

There were restaurants still serving food despite the late hour, taverns filled with cultivators drinking and discussing cultivation techniques, and countless shops displaying dazzling treasures behind their windows.

Li Ruoxi looked around with genuine curiosity.

She had lived for many years as a cultivator and had visited plenty of cities before, but Infinite Sword Domain City was still impressive.

The sheer number of cultivators here was astonishing.

In Clear Moon City, seeing a Divine Tribulation Realm cultivator could already cause a commotion.

Here, such an existence was hardly worth turning one’s head toward.

Dao Overlords were not merely legends spoken of in ancient texts either.

They were real existences.

And the entire city was under the protection of a genuine Dao Overlord.

This was the difference between a prosperous cultivation center and a relatively remote city.

Li Ruoxi quietly observed everything around her.

Then she looked toward Lin Feng.

"Are you enjoying this?"

Lin Feng smiled.

"Of course."

He glanced at the bustling street.

"There are so many people here. Something interesting is bound to happen eventually."

Li Ruoxi immediately understood what he meant.

She shook her head helplessly.

"You really cannot stop thinking about causing trouble, can you?"

"I’m innocent."

Lin Feng put on a serious expression.

"I only said that something interesting might happen. I never said I would cause it."

Li Ruoxi stared at him for a moment before laughing softly.

She knew him too well to believe that innocent expression.

If trouble came looking for him, Lin Feng would probably welcome it with open arms.

The two continued walking.

Sometimes they stopped in front of shops to look at interesting treasures.

Li Ruoxi even pointed toward a small stall selling beautiful spiritual accessories.

There were hairpins, bracelets, necklaces, and other ornaments crafted from spiritual materials.

Lin Feng noticed her interest immediately.

"Do you like something?"

Li Ruoxi shook her head.

"No. I was just looking."

Lin Feng walked toward the stall anyway.

"Then let’s buy something."

"Lin Feng, I really don’t need it."

"I know."

He smiled.

"But I want to give you something."

Li Ruoxi’s heart softened.

She eventually allowed him to choose a beautiful spiritual hairpin for her.

When she put it into her hair, Lin Feng looked at her for several seconds.

Li Ruoxi noticed his gaze and smiled.

"What?"

"Nothing."

Lin Feng shook his head.

"My wife is just too beautiful."

Li Ruoxi’s cheeks became slightly warm.

Even after spending so much time together, she still wasn’t completely immune to his shameless compliments.

They continued walking afterward and one shadow kept on following them.
