Chapter 704: Chapter 704 Refusing to Leave a Single Drop on the Floor

And Li Ruoxi knew this was only the beginning.

Lin Feng had never been stingy with the women close to him.

He had given them powerful cultivation techniques, precious treasures, pills, resources, and countless opportunities that other cultivators would desperately fight over.

He had never treated his women as decorations around him.

He genuinely wanted them to become stronger.

Li Ruoxi understood this better than most.

She had originally entered his life with another purpose, yet somehow, she had gradually become someone who genuinely wanted to remain beside him.

Now, hearing strangers mock Lin Feng, she found their misunderstanding almost amusing.

Lin Feng, meanwhile, turned toward her with a playful smile.

"Please do, my little wife Ruoxi," he said jokingly. "I’ll make sure to repay you properly later. After all, my body is about the only thing I have left to offer."

Li Ruoxi immediately froze.

Her cheeks turned bright red.

"Lin Feng!"

Her voice was still soft, but there was obvious embarrassment in it.

Lin Feng laughed.

He clearly enjoyed teasing her.

The cultivators nearby, however, were no longer laughing.

They were staring at the pair with complicated expressions.

"What did he just say?"

"That mortal actually dares to speak to a Core Formation Realm expert like that?"

"And she isn’t even angry!"

"This guy..."

The men looked at Lin Feng with undisguised envy.

They had spent their entire lives cultivating, yet here was an ordinary-looking mortal walking beside an incredibly beautiful Core Formation Realm woman and casually calling her his wife.

It was enough to make their hearts ache.

Some of them clenched their fists.

Others could only sigh.

"How did that guy manage it?"

"Forget cultivation. I want to know how he convinced her to stay with him."

"He must have saved her life or something."

"Or maybe his ancestors accumulated tremendous virtue."

Lin Feng heard their whispers and almost laughed.

He had to admit that this was quite an interesting experience.

Back in Clear Moon City, nobody would dare speak about him like this.

Here, however, he was completely anonymous.

And that anonymity allowed him to enjoy something he rarely experienced.

A peaceful date.

He glanced at Li Ruoxi, whose face was still slightly flushed.

She quietly looked away, pretending to be interested in the scenery.

Lin Feng smiled.

Perhaps being mistaken for a soft rice eater was not such a bad thing after all.

At least it gave him an amusing story to remember.

And judging from the jealous expressions surrounding them, Lin Feng suspected that this date was already causing more damage to the hearts of the single cultivators in the city than any battle could have.

The two spent the entire day together, enjoying themselves from morning until evening.

For Lin Feng, it was a surprisingly relaxing experience.

There was no need to hurry anywhere, and for once, he could simply enjoy the company of a woman without having to worry about anything else.

The place they had chosen was Infinite Sword Domain City, an enormous cultivator city that housed millions of cultivators.

Compared to this place, Clear Moon City almost seemed like a remote backwater where even the birds would disdain to do their business and poop.

Infinite Sword Domain City was a completely different level.

Powerful cultivators could be seen everywhere.

Seeing someone in the Divine Tribulation Realm was not particularly unusual, and Dao Overlords were not merely legendary figures mentioned in ancient records.

They were real existences who occasionally appeared within the city.

The reason the city could remain so peaceful despite having so many powerful cultivators was simple.

It was protected by a genuine Dao Overlord.

With such an existence watching over the city, even the most arrogant cultivators would think twice before causing trouble.

For Lin Feng, however, the city’s strength was not particularly important.

He was here on a date.

That was all that mattered.

Throughout the day, Lin Feng took Li Ruoxi to various scenic locations around the city.

They visited beautiful gardens filled with spiritual flowers, walked through bustling streets, sampled local delicacies, and admired the magnificent sword-shaped buildings that gave the city its name.

Li Ruoxi, who was normally so quiet that people sometimes forgot she was there, gradually became much more relaxed.

She smiled more often.

She occasionally pointed out things that caught her attention.

And sometimes, she even took the initiative to suggest where they should go next.

Lin Feng naturally agreed to everything.

There was no reason to rush.

The entire point of the date was to enjoy their time together.

As evening approached, the sky gradually turned crimson.

The two eventually entered one of the most expensive restaurants in the city.

The restaurant was luxurious enough that even wealthy cultivators would hesitate before casually ordering everything on the menu.

The private room they were given overlooked a beautiful section of the city, where countless spiritual lights illuminated the streets below.

Lin Feng and Li Ruoxi enjoyed a quiet dinner together.

There was no crowd.

No interruptions.

Just the two of them sitting across from each other and enjoying the atmosphere.

Li Ruoxi occasionally lowered her gaze whenever Lin Feng looked at her for too long.

The normally composed woman was becoming increasingly aware that this was not simply an ordinary outing.

It was their date.

And she liked it.

She finally has the chance to have Lin Feng’s attention and time all to herself and it was something she knew she would cherish for the rest of her life.

After dinner, the two finally left the restaurant.

The city was already illuminated by countless lanterns and formations, making the night scenery even more beautiful than it had been during the day.

Lin Feng looked toward Li Ruoxi.

"Are you tired?"

Li Ruoxi shook her head.

"Not at all."

"Good."

Lin Feng smiled.

"Then the night is still young."

Li Ruoxi’s heart skipped slightly.

They soon arrived at a premium inn.

The moment they entered their chamber, Li Ruoxi could not help but pause.

The room had clearly been prepared with romance in mind.
