Chapter 694: Chapter 694 We Cultivated the Grand Dao Until Dawn, and Now Neither of Our Legs Work
Lin Feng waved his hand.
"There is no need to make it sound so serious. You are the one cultivating. I merely gave you some guidance."
Shen Yue shook her head.
"No. Even if you consider it insignificant, it is not insignificant to me." She raised her head and smiled.
"Perhaps one day, when my cultivation becomes powerful enough, I will have the opportunity to repay you."
Lin Feng chuckled.
"Then cultivate properly first. Don’t think about repaying me before you’ve even reached that point."
"Yes, Senior."
Shen Yue nodded firmly. Her eyes were filled with renewed determination. For the first time in a long while, she felt as though the path ahead of her had become clearer.
She no longer wanted to cultivate merely because she feared falling behind others.
She wanted to become stronger because she wanted to understand the mysteries of the cultivation path and see just how far she could walk.
Qin Yuan, who had been waiting beside her, immediately turned her attention toward her disciple. She studied Shen Yue carefully.
Her aura seemed calmer than before, and there was a faint brightness in her eyes that Qin Yuan had not seen for a long time. She was truly healed and for her this would be a great new beginning.
"Master." Shen Yue walked toward Qin Yuan.
Qin Yuan nodded.
"Are you ready to leave?"
"Yes." Shen Yue took one final look at Lin Feng.
"Thank you again, Senior Lin Feng."
Lin Feng nodded.
"Go now. Meditate, solidify your foundation, and digest what you have learned today. Cultivation is a marathon, not a sprint. The path is endless, and only the firmest Dao heart can endure to the very end."
"I will."
Shen Yue bowed once more. Then she followed Qin Yuan out of the private chamber. The two women slowly disappeared down the corridor, leaving Lin Feng alone inside.
As the doors closed, Shen Yue couldn’t help but glance backward one final time. She didn’t know why she felt reluctant to leave.
Perhaps it was because this place had become associated with one of the most important realizations of her life and her healing of course. She took a deep breath.
Whatever the future held, she knew she would remember this day. She would remember the embarrassment. She would remember the strange experience.
But above all else, she would remember Lin Feng’s words. Those words had given her something that no spiritual pill or cultivation technique could provide. A new perspective on her own path.
And from this day onward, Shen Yue was determined to walk that path with greater conviction than ever before.
"Let’s call it a day." Lin Feng let out a long sigh, a satisfied smile appearing on his face. It had been a rather fulfilling day.
Although he was already the supreme master of this multiverse, possessing authority and power that no ordinary cultivator could even begin to comprehend, Lin Feng had long since realized that absolute power alone could not give meaning to one’s existence.
What was the point of possessing everything if there was nothing left to enjoy?
A life without purpose, even for someone who had reached the very peak of existence, would eventually become nothing more than a dull and empty shell.
That was precisely why Lin Feng continued to follow his passions. He loved teaching.
He loved watching people who had once been lost suddenly find their direction.
He enjoyed seeing cultivators overcome bottlenecks, watching ordinary people change their fate, and helping those who genuinely needed a helping hand.
There was a certain satisfaction in knowing that his existence could make someone else’s life better. Of course, Lin Feng had never intended to become some tyrannical ruler of the multiverse.
He had no interest in sitting upon a divine throne and commanding countless beings like puppets merely because he possessed the power to do so.
He didn’t need endless worship, nor did he require everyone beneath the heavens to bow whenever he appeared. Let the countless worlds develop naturally. Let their people choose their own paths.
As long as they did not cross his bottom line, Lin Feng was perfectly happy to leave them alone. But helping people? Teaching them? Giving someone an opportunity to change their destiny?
That was something he was more than willing to do.
After all, having limitless power didn’t mean he had to abandon the things he enjoyed simply because he had already reached the summit.
"Besides..." Lin Feng suddenly remembered something and his expression brightened.
"It’s Saturday." A faint smile spread across his face.
"Su Muyao should be coming over later." Just thinking about it made Lin Feng feel considerably happier.
Su Muyao had a peculiar ability to spice up his otherwise peaceful evenings. No matter how uneventful his day had been, her presence was usually enough to make things considerably more interesting.
"Well, there’s something to look forward to tonight." Lin Feng chuckled to himself. With a single thought, his figure disappeared from the private chamber.
At the same instant, the entire room underwent a transformation.
The mess left behind from the day’s events vanished without a trace.
The bed was restored to its original spotless condition, the floor became perfectly clean, and even the faint traces of spiritual energy lingering in the air and the flood of love juices were completely erased.
In less than a breath, the chamber looked as though nothing had ever happened inside it.
Lin Feng’s work for the day was officially over. Now, he could simply enjoy the rest of his evening.

Meanwhile, far from Lin Feng’s courtyard, countless people throughout the city were talking about the mysterious Medicine King.
His name had become one of the most frequently mentioned topics among cultivators in recent days.
Some praised his extraordinary medical skills. Others speculated about his origins, his cultivation realm, and the terrifying forces that might stand behind him.
There were even people who wondered whether this mysterious Medicine King was truly a newly emerged expert or someone who had deliberately hidden his identity for countless years.
