After washing away the fatigue of a long journey in that enormous bath, Loren rose from the vast pool and leisurely put on the clothes neatly laid out on the shore.

Dressed, he strode out of the palace-like bathhouse with a satisfied gait and entered the bedroom he had visited earlier.

The bedroom’s furnishings were quite simple.

Apart from the large bed placed in the center, there was only a floor-to-ceiling window and matching heavy white curtains.

As if to embody the idea that “pure simplicity is for better rest.”

Loren removed his tipped hat from his head and placed it on the bedside.

His black coat was casually hung on the coat rack by the bedroom door.

He relaxed onto the luxurious bed and gently closed his eyes.

That drowsy state that followed physical enhancement returned.

A soul that had never enjoyed such a powerful body again entered a slow period of adjustment...

“Raven, keep watch.”

After sending that thought into the Illusion Space, Loren fell into a deep sleep.

The next moment.

A ripple of white energy quietly flickered on Loren’s shoulder.

A small black figure stepped out from that not-too-bright glow and, facing the sleeping figure on the bed, whispered:

“As you command, my beloved master~”

The figure on the bed, half-asleep, turned over instinctively and began to face away from the small black shadow.

Apparently, Raven’s reply had disturbed him a bit.

......

Seeing this, the slightly slighted Raven.

Could only lift its wing and cautiously “walk” to Loren’s front, eyes fixed on Loren’s chest, releasing its spiritual power.

On the ruby of the Crimson Tear it etched a little raven wearing a tipped hat with spiritual power, then took out its portable computer, gently gripped it with its claws, and silently flew to the other side of the bed.

At that moment.

The sound of Raven flapping its wings once more annoyed the sleeper.

The sleeping figure on the bed again turned over instinctively.

Raven, having just landed on the other side of the bed:

“......”

You damn master, after enhancing your body, have your senses become too sharp?!

Silently muttering this about its idiot master, Raven lightly opened its portable computer and entered a mixed rest-and-entertainment “internet-addicted creature mode.”

It had been so long since I talked to my friends!

Friends, my adorable, wise little flyers!

I’m finally back!!

It was no wonder Raven missed its friends so much; in fact, it had nearly disappeared from the Interstellar Hunter Forum for almost a month.

Ever since Loren arrived in the Beastkin Star Domain on December 4, Raven had not logged into the forum.

Such a long stretch was obviously quite cruel to a pure internet-addicted creature.

......

Federal Calendar 7709, January 15, early morning.

After seven days of sleep, Loren finally woke from the big bed in the Bounty Hunters Guild lounge bedroom in the City of Hekahn.

Maybe because the Demigod-level body was far too powerful.

This time, Loren’s soul took an unusually long time to adapt to his body.

He had slept from the predawn of January 9 until the early morning of January 15.

A full seven days by the Federal Calendar.

He sat up on the soft bed of unknown material and stretched in a huge, comfortable yawn.

Bones crackled “cack, cack.”

A feeling of ease and absolute control, from the inside out, arose in Loren’s heart!

This unique sensation signified that he had finally adapted to his suddenly increased physical strength.

Seven days ago, Loren needed complete concentration to tear space apart with his hands.

Now, he could rip nearby space casually with a flick!

A true Demigod-tier muscle monster had been born on that soft bed!

Not the kind of body being nurtured to prepare for Demigod ascension, but one directly matching a Demigod Martial Artist’s physique!

The physical extreme achievable through the Legendary tier and the perfect body of a Demigod Martial Artist are two different things.

This crossed a very difficult threshold.

......

“Raven, how long did I sleep?”

Stretching, Loren turned his head and asked the “internet-addicted creature” on the other side of the bed.

“You slept seven days, my dear master.”

Raven said without looking away, its claws still flying rapidly over the portable computer below.

“That long?” Loren asked thoughtfully.

“Yes, it seems your Demigod-level body made your soul feel extremely pampered,” Raven replied, operating the computer with one set of claws while turning to multitask and converse with Loren.

At that, Loren nodded.

Then, as if remembering something, his eyes narrowed.

He looked at Raven on the other side of the bed and asked softly:

“During my sleep, you... didn’t play on the portable computer for the entire seven days, did you?”

Raven’s claws paused on the computer.

Clearly, this pure internet-addicted creature really had been roaming the Federation Network nonstop for a full seven days!

After only a second.

Like it had found an outlet for emotion, it snapped back loudly and quickly:

“Of course I did!”

“Do you know how I spent those seven days?!”

“At first, it was quite interesting!!”

“But after the third day, I got bored!!”

“It turns out intelligent beings get tired of repeating the same thing without interruption!”

“From the fourth day, I got so bored I voluntarily started learning those ancient elven languages!”

“Then, on the sixth day, I finished learning them!”

“Our spiritual power is too strong; learning languages like that is no challenge for me anymore!”

“Finally! Still bored, I voluntarily went to study Federation network technology!!”

“Now, master, you should respect me more!”

At this point, Raven proudly lifted its little head and bobbed it, showing off:

“Standing before you is a learned raven scholar!”

“This raven scholar, while proficient in Ancient Orcish Script and ancient elven tongue, is also a powerful hacker who masters Federation network technology!”

“And also a growing noble mage!”

“By the way, it is also a master-level oil painter and an outstanding researcher of human psychology!”

After speaking, Raven started waving its little wings, striking a few dashing poses on the portable computer.

“You idiot master, don’t be shy!”

“Worship me to your heart’s content!”

“Facing a naturally extraordinary intellectual like me, I understand the inferiority you hide deep inside.”

“It’s fine, I won’t despise you!”

“The wise should learn to be tolerant!”

Listening to Raven’s endless self-praise and its covert mockery of him, Loren, who had just gotten up, darkened.

You’re getting arrogant, stupid bird...

The next second.

Loren snapped his fingers with a grim face!

“Clack!”

He voluntarily shared all of Raven’s memories.

Then.

Loren himself became a scholar proficient in Ancient Orcish, ancient elven tongue, Federation network technology, various low-tier spells, oil painting techniques, and human psychology!

With the snap, the air in the bedroom fell silent for a moment.

Immediately after, Raven screamed:

“Ah! You damn master! You cheated!!”

......

“Behave.”

“Raven, you should learn to show some respect to a scholar...”

Loren’s face broke into an extremely happy smile.
